So I last played v45. I've successfully patched several versions in the past so I'm pretty confident I'm not just doing something wrong - when I try to patch v46 I get checksum errors, indicating 3 files aren't found. Is there any known fix/way around this?

I Will try hitting "yes" anyways if it comes to that, but I'm guessing that'll break things and force me to redownload the full game, which I'm hoping to avoid, both for obvious reasons and so I can actually play v46 and v47 before v48.

im sorry for asking this, ive been scrolling some page, and in the first page said torrent will come soon, but is there an eta? i think ive been missing the game from v 0.37 so id rather download all of them again

Usually forum members share the torrent file for almost any new version. Try searching.

Better option is downloading 0.47 torrent file directly from the dev's patreon and using the update file for 0.48. Currently 0.47 is free on his page and when 0.49 released, 0.48 will be free too. So free releases are always one version behind from patrons releases.

And best option is to become a supporter of this great dev if you can afford. :)

So, I have to say I want to play, but the controls for advancing dialogue are so goddamn finicky it takes like 20 clicks to get past a single line...wish there was just a simple spacebar or enter control to advance the conversations instead of having to randomly click on the screen in the hopes of getting to the next option. From how I'm currently understanding how this works I have to click on the people speaking...which when you hide the fucking cursor makes it a near impossibility to do it in a single click, cause you can't see where you are clicking anymore.

If you just scroll up a bit you will see that I gave solution to this even on this page and probably on some other previous pages. here is one of many samples how game works:

So, basically don't move your mouse after clicking on someone or something and it'll go fine, but move it and it becomes a chore to do...This is gonna be difficult since my mouse likes to wander cause I have 2 monitors, and sometimes something will pull my mouse to the other screen. But I guess I'll give it a shot...

Edit: Seems to be something wrong on my end, cause after relaunching the game it is progressing much faster, but the only thing that changed was me restarting the game after stopping due to how it was acting. So, perhaps it was something in the intro movie that was messing with the clicking as it's working as I think it should now and progressing with every click, no matter where I do it.

I will check what is possible in intro to do such weird behavior and maybe fix it if anything is wrong there, tho it's hard for me to fix something that I can't recreate. Bugs are though, possible on different systems as windows or any other OS are usually acting... weird sometimes. But thanx for feedback I will check is there anything inside intro that triggers this :)

I'm having issues with the game. I tried to search the forum, no luck. My problem is that the game can't stay open for more than a couple of minutes. Around 2 to 5 minutes and then it closes. It feels like it uses a lot of CPU and then the game closes. It doesn't create a message.log, or anything, it's just as if I pressed Atl F4. The application just closes everytime the game starts to moves too slow. Any idea?

What do I need to do to load an autosave from a previous version? Nothing I click on from either path does anything. I've got v0.48.

Try this (my own method since I had similar problem): open config.ini in notepad or notepad++ (better) and add new line at the end of the file with following text "Device = OGL". Look at the attached screenshot below how it should be after editing.

Can't seem to find the Jade & Brenda Platinum doll, I've done the 3 some with them, with Jade not getting her doll, and the guide says to look outside for my own, but it's not where people have said it would be in this thread.

Glad to help. About stuttering I dunno - I have quite fast PC with 6-cores CPU, ultra fast SDD and good amount of RAM so I think don't have any lags. U may try to run the game as admin and if it helped set this in exe settings. Also mine compressed verison could run faster but overall quality will be about 20% worse and may contain bugs.
