AI, or every sandbox games using the same engine from illusion, do not provide enough room for diversity, whatever you do ends up looking more or less the same. I did invest to make sure i would be able to use daz or Arnold with relative comfort.
I agree with that. If I have the skill and the right tool, I would use Daz. HS/AI is still limit in its capability.
I am kind of confused on how to download this game.
Do I download parts 1-6 of the All-In-One (R14 Base Game Repack), and ignore the other parts, or do I download all of the parts and extract them together.

You need all 15 parts. The repack is over 42GB.
What make you think that you only need the first 6 parts?
When I clicked on," Installation," on page 1, it said to,"Download all parts (1-6) to play."
Also, what is the Sideloader Modpack Studio.7z for and do I need it too?
If the instruction is accurate, then the first 6 parts must be the base game. The rest would be mods. Some of the mods are must have to really enjoy the game.
Sideloader Modpack are stuffs for Studio to make scenes. They are not needed to play the base game. However, some are nice to have (like clothes option) if you figure out how to download and install them manually.

Sideloader Modpack Studio is if you want to create scenes for a comics or visual novel.

If anyone wondering how different Graphics API in this game , I have tested with my HP Omen 15 (Ryzen 5 4600H with GTX 1660 Ti)
OpenGL/Vulkan = The Game instantly Crashes (Since the game is not cooked for Vulkan/OGL)
DirectX 11 FL 10.1 = FPS is fine (running around 70+FPS) but there is a lot of Missing Texture (Forest Area fine at 60FPS since some of the Texture is missing)
DirectX 11 FL 11 = The game is designed in this API , It run normally around 70+FPS (Forest Area around 50FPS)
DirectX 11 FL 11.1 = Its the Same as DirectX 11 Fl 11 , Water Reflection is shinier than the standard DX11
DirectX 12 = Game run with Less FPS (Around 50+ FPS) but i got lower Temperature in the CPU (Since its using Multi Core now) Looks like its very unoptimized in DX12 , Go to Forest Area and got below 20FPS (VRAM is full 5,9GB) , After in Housing Island The FPS Also dropped to below 20FPS

, link is still same.Remember to delete/disable their original not fixed copies, they shouldn't load anyway as theirs manifest files prevent it but still game will load faster if it won't need to check it.
So the ending... we found a boat and Shan left for another adventure somewhere while we still live on the ruined island and nothing about how the world ended, or was it actually ended?

I had a doubt I started playing this game, can you have more than one girl on the island on the island?
You can unlock a maximum of 3 girls (besides the vendor), you need to find/craft battieries to unlock the terminals on the map. You can use a mod to unlock more than 3 girls.

Better Repack gives the option of Mega or Google Drive downloads but they will be in several parts and then need joining.
I have found the joining problematic in the past so I stick to Torrent and find it very straightforward (although teh download takes ages - I leave it running overnight)
