Hey guys,
here are two small examples for you showing off the superior quality of the Remaster Version (better lighting, depth of field, noise reduction etc.).
PS: I also plan to release an Animation-Preview for Master-Tier and above!

Remastered version has already taken more time than the original 0.18 Beta and you're telling us that you're very busy with it...
That's easy to explain. The render quality is now 3-times higher than before, which does also multiply the render-time for every single image by around factor 3. It's not possible to speed up this process, not with my hardware, at least.

Some bad news (not exactly for you, but for me):
Since the last few days I have some serious problems with my PC. I haven't figured out what exactly the issue is, but he keeps crashing when I try to render images. I find a little way around it, but it's not working for all images. My guess would be he is overheating somehow, but I'm not sure yet.
The good news:
Nonetheless, I still have managed to (pretty much) finish the update. I already did some bugfixing today and a test playthrough.
If nothing goes completely wrong (I'm looking at you my precious piece of hardware), I will release v0.18 Beta tomorrow.

DISCLAIMER:
As a heads up...next in line is the (by far) biggest and also naughtiest scene in the whole game so far. As in the original game, I'm going to release it in two updates ("v0.18 Beta" and "v0.18 Final"). Don't get confused by Beta and Final, both updates are absolutely massive. We are talking about around 1700 render images for both updates (more than 800 images for one).
Each update will let you play a different path (fetish). Both paths are unique and very very dirty and on top of that, also heavily animated.
SUMMARY FOR v0.18 Beta REMASTER (STANDARD VERSION):
- Update comes with two new scenes (a tiny and a huge one)
- Completely Rerendered and slightly Extended
> I ended up overhauling 98-99% of the old Render Images
- v0.18 Beta comes with around 900 Render Images, incl. over 50 Animation Videos
> To put it in perspective, the whole game (standard version) had 46 Animations
> Now it's more than doubled, just with v0.18 Beta
> Also created some new Animations (mostly for better Magical Effects)
- Overall quality has increased a lot and it shows, especially side by side
> For instance: Much better Lighting/Shadows, Depth of Field, Noise Reduction etc.
> Ironed out several issues from the original scene (missplaced shadows etc.)
- Added new transitions and a few more sound effects to the mix
> Scenes feel now smoother and more immersive
- New Bonus Images to unlock (with Additional Renders)
> Bonus Images did heavily benefit from the quality improvement
- Over 3000 Lines of Code have been added
- Around 250 Sound Effects are now in the game
General Game Improvements:
- Additional Proof Reading for older Content
