And you know, if that line went somewhere through MC's thoughts, it woul've been understandable how he didn't really want to conctinue romances. The problem is, there is just nothing like that there.

very disappointed with the ending. the main 'mystery' about Izzy was completely glazed over, after being teased all along and even used as part of the reason Vanya tried to take over. So many unanswered questions and forgotten side lines in the story.

Story started good, maintained momentum through the middle, and then just wandered off aimlessly at the end.

I'm so bummed that Nerysa didn't get more scenes and my waifu Alice was sent away.

Yeah quite annoyed about that. Great game but suffered from the same problem Ptolemy had with their last games' ending. They just cant make endings at all. Both ended in the same way, either quick flashes or quick mentions with things left without explanation. Looking forward to their next game but they seriously need to figure out how to end it properly.

I told you, bro. This dev probably has ADD/ADHD and he loses interest half way through ALL of his games. Then add in mediocre shit endings and there you have it.

He always starts out strong, so I know he has it in him to write an amazing game. But, somewhere about half way, he always loses focus and this is what happens.

I liked both of his games but honestly the endings suck.
It would be even more satisfying to banish it halfway and leave the rest to the imagination.

I'm not even going to bother with his releases anymore. Several devs are the same way. I truly hope this is just a trend that at some point will just stop.

It is unfortunate. I am a story writer myself, not AVNs, and always have the full framework of a story built before I ever start writing it. Sure, somethings do change along the way. However, I pretty much know the story arc(s) and ending before. It is certainly not the only way or even best way for every writer, it just works for me. The problem with some writers is they just either get bored, run out of ideas, or yes start thinking about a new idea (ADD/ADHD).

If I am trying to make money off of something, I sure as hell will make sure I find a way to properly end it. Even if that means getting someone involved to help flesh out the story. Personally I will not support anything by this author in the future. This wasn't the first AVN that he has done this way. If it was, I would give him a second chance.

How many games are simply abandoned?
How many games NEVER end but just keep stumbling forward with ever smaller update?
I've really enjoyed playing this VN. REALLY ENJOYED IT!

No VN is perfect. No VN every has an ending that satisfies everyone, That never ever happens.

In this case Ptolemy took the time and made the effort to actually END THE GAME.

He didn't tie off all the threads. He didn't clean up all the possibilities.

But he did end the game and address the major plot points.

So quit complaining because your particular concern was left unaddressed in a VN YOU PLAY FOR FREE!
Quit complaining about how much better you think he might have done in a perfect world and acknowledge just how much he has done. This is a very high quality VN. Engaging and enjoyable to play. All of us are damn lucky to have the opportunity to play it.

So for Christ's sake just thank him and move on.

I kinda hoped for a more dramatic ending where the PC was killed/took all the blame and Alex took over all angry and pissed.

I feel like lots of Devs who work on a Game for that long just get tired of it and want to finish it off to be done with it.
