haha, ok just finished the update...Jesus Kim is a fucked up person. Seriously, fuck that bitch...knowing that the Dev is going to have the MC forgive her no problem doesn't sit well.
It still begs the question, how did his mom have children being in a committed relationship with Penni? MC still looks the same as before everything changed, so has to be the same father...story felt sloppy, like the Dev has the big picture of what his story will be, but gets muddled in the details...really have to use a lot of plot armor to even make the story semi beleivable.

Almost as bad as the Junji Ito Collection lol.

Kim's character has a lot of promise - cute tomboyish best friend you could win over to the "other side". It creates emotional investment by the players, the investment that due to dev decision is crushed into the ground because of the unlucky position of the episode end in the story.
I would say the decision of the execution is rather unlucky due to the facts in the story so far: Kim knows MC's mother who does not like her, Kim shows absolutely 0 affinity towards MC's mother and even calls out MC over the interest of her own mom. Kim has a serious crush on MC's sister.
So a more subtle approach would have been that Kim and MC's mother share a tender moment, hugging, and maybe kissing, that would arise/incite the curiosity towards lesbianism, that would later turn into a marriage with Pam. However the crude nature of how this was depicted - fucking after 2-3 hours, almost rape by Kim in the second part, instant switch in Pam's behavior (the dude she was ready to blow just to keep him by her side/interested, disappeared in front of her eyes - she should at least be shocked) was unfortunate as the whole scene leaves a bad taste in mouth, feels shoehorned and fabricated to create artificial tension.
Meaning that MC would should have been shocked and angry with a kiss and a little breast fondling, now has to be outraged for the continuation of the story (where he has to fight his own wish to have a better life for his family).
What I want to say is that I understand the Dev and what he wanted to achieve, but possibly over-wrote a couple of scenes, due to a pressure to deliver lewd content leading to a detrimental effect on the feelings of the players

I might be wrong but from what I read it looked like they are twins and the sister is only a few minutes older than the mc. So I assume the mom was pregnant with both, when this happened. If I'm wrong then sorry but I believe when the mc goes into the sisters room he says it's not fair that she gets the bigger room but she states that's because she is older even if only by a little bit.

Actually the dev didn't delete his account because of criticism to AD, but because some morons kept bitching about him updating this game instead of filf, pratically attacking him repeatedly, and being disrespectful as hell in general ( i think, by what he said, they even sent him some PMs)
I don't blame him for doing what he did when staying on here subjected him to that sort of treatment

KMonkeyMon uhh, yeah I don't think kims mom will be kim.... cause that would mean she bones her dad... and well ICC afaik doesn't do protags dirty like that. While people might not like kim atm, she will still be a romantic interest for MC (I assume, I doubt she wouldn't be), and thus nothing with her and some other dude will happen, because this ain't that kinda game. Plus would add cest and patreon says no no, and I doubt the patch will add that as well. (since in patreon version her father is still her father). maybe in patch, they might do something where MC is actually her dad, as well he is slightly older than her.... and would explain the mothers interest in him. but again patreon issues cause non-patched version.

As for the community comment..... most people have migrated to discord for community at this point, on specific devs discords.

but then again thats kinda like that hentai comic trope a bully protects a weak kid of a son of a hot mom in order to bang her some day

to be honest i think it was just to get people talking im not that bothered by it because i like lesbian sex but i see why many people are pissed with it

whatever i hope we get to bang Slyvia in the future and not just being in a day dream

The problem is that Kim is a very dividing character. Usually when developers introduce such characters they give player a choice how to treat such character. Sadly here developer wont give us a choice and will just force player to be nice to her because his story doesnt work if main character wont be friends with Kim.

Worst thing is that kim x mom scene is there purely to play on our feelings. He made people angry and frustrated at Kim on purpose but he wont give players an option to act on those feelings(telling Kim to fuck off).

Overall it feels like main character is Kims bitch. Which is hilarious because if you change Kims gender to male then we all would be discussing how deep we should bury his body instead of going "omg I hope her redemption arc is great".

There are several missed clues for most people discussing the game:
- MC and Haley (sister) are twins with her being born first
- there were several clues in the initial artifact assimilation scene: Someone falling from the water tower, someone getting shot at (a guy in front of a girl)....
- incest is possible with MC's aunt in the past, avoiding any complication with mom
- Tarot reading (need additional quotes - but) as I remember MC will gain a new companion (Penny) with key romantic possibility, and the last card with 2 queens had red and blue color clues similar to Mom and Penny's rings

In his patreon post, the Dev tried to make an excuse, where MC's mom actually initiated the lesbian intercourse with Kim, however, the "grinding rape" part was obviously initiated by Kim. The issue I have here is simple there is a discrepancy between the whole idea of the story and execution of specific parts - best way to solve it rewrite the Kim vs. Mom scene into a tender lesbian moment(kissing, hugging, some fondling) that would still enrage MC, but in a way that realistic redemption is possible for Kim. Definitely re-write Penny's behavior on the water tower (she just conquered her worst phobia for MC, then forgets about him in less then 5 seconds, does not react to disappearing MC&Kim act, and 180s on MC's mom with whom she had no prior connection.

Additionally seems that except for MC's sister and Kim's mother every other female in the game is either bi, agresive lesbian, a closet lesbian, or lying to themselves (how real is that???). MC and Kim's father are douchebags, what I only can describe as low level Betas (MC bordering on beeing the douchepon from the "Double homework") and people rightfully questioning whether he or Kim are MC.

I'll explain it using as simple words as I can for you...MC has an older sister...MC is the little brother to his big sister...Mommy (Julia) is pregnant with his older sister...big sister is born first, before the MC was born. So logic has it that she's pregnant with the MC's big sister.

I dislike these lopsided relationships where the main character plays second fiddle to the annoying female lead.

Kim graphically describes her sexual fantasies about the main character's sister, and the MC just says "Oh, God... Here we go. I can't listen to this again." Kim continues on and he just has to suffer through it. Yet, if he tells Kim that her mother might've been flirting with him, she throws something at his head and tells him not to say another word. Where was that option for us?

I get that the writer is trying to create characters who tease each other as part of their friendship, but you need to have it more balanced than this. The main character should be asking Kim if she would rather have him give her a little brother or a little sister, instead of obediently shutting up the second she disapproves of him doing something she had done to him earlier. He does try to call her out on it, but she just steamrolls over him and tells him that his fantasies can never come true while hers can. It doesn't make it look like they are good friends. It looks like he's a pushover and she's a bitch.

The nicest thing Kim does for her best friend is to make sure he completes his final photography project, which she almost screws up at the last minute by getting too caught up in her own stuff. The nicest thing that the MC does for Kim is unlock the secrets to an ancient magical device and activate it by drinking a mysterious potion made by a witch that causes them to travel through time where Kim can then ditch him to fuck his mom while she's in an emotionally vulnerable state. That kind of upstages her a bit doesn't it? Especially considering how she was feeding him the wrong answers in the class he was failing just to make him look foolish so she could laugh at him.

I'm also not a fan of incompetent main characters. It's one thing to need someone to help you through tough times, but to need someone to stop you from simply being a lazy procrastinator is just pitiful. On the plus side, it's nice that the main character cares about someone other than himself. The same can't be said about Kim, and the fortune teller basically proved that.
