Announcement:

Today's patch does about three things to the game.

Added some content to the dinner scene that will help with something we are working on in a coming scene.

Replaced another animation from earlier in the game.

Added new animation to one of the scenes with Jason and Steph.

Opened up a little content regarding Tori's second game. That is where we will be working next.

We will have another small update next Wednesday where we will continue to add some animation as well as replace another old one.

My first thoughts:
The new scene would be a wonderfully romantic scene and echoes the opening scenes with the mostly great communication. On the surface this looks like an amazing relationship except for that one glaring problem.

Looks like they tweaked the dialogue a bit on my least favorite and most oft-talked about middleground path (dom1=3).

I think it's a step in the right direction, but now the scenes have no consistency. I know, I know, I sound like goldilocks, but try and stay with me.

Before, I hated it, but the dialogue at Tori's house on dom3 was consistent with a bbc cuck fetish story. Now, some of the dialogue has improved, yet other segments remain, so you get this odd combination where half of Tori's lines make her sound like a gentler more considerate character, then half are classic bbc cuck talk ("He's gonna blow her back out", "my husband is quite the bull" etcetc). It's just weird.

By chance the devs lurk, I'll say it till I'm blue in the face, this stuff has a place, but it's not on the middle path. The taunting style is extremely similar to the Donny "train" dialogue, and the only reason I can think that they'd be in different paths is because of the devs own personal fetishes.

What was the "new dinner scene content"? Just the stuff about Steph's ex chuck where she blows up at her sister? Maybe I'm remember wrong I swear some of that was already in game.

Oh ok, I don't remember her blowing up and running off, that was new to me.

Its a great intimate scene, nice and romantic and all, I want to believe her so bad. What man doesn't want to be told he is his wife's hero...

However, on the back of yet another secret Steph is keeping from her husband! It follows on from the phone call scene and the hypocritical ''we need to be honest" from earlier that same day, so I find Steph's sincerity hard to believe. Considering how erratic the dev's have made her who knows.

I'm invested in the MC and just want to see him get a good ending.

I haven't had a chance to get to the new Tori content yet but I'll get there later. I suspect I'll find it the same as you have.

Updated both my walkthrough and gallery mods for game version 1.06g. The gallery update is not strictly needed.

I also reported a couple of bugs to the dev - Player name is Eric in Gina couch scene; Missing destination for a branch. Fixed both in my walkthrough mod. But depending on how quickly the devs issue fix I may need to update that mod.

EDIT: Oh both my mods are linked in the opening post! Happy Dance! Thanks for adding that moderators. Do I get a modder badge now? :D

According to the dev notes, we know the devs decided to pull Steph's "big secret" into the beginning of the game and use it as a focal point for the developing story. So, whatever this secret is we know it is the major plot device moving forward. So, how does the secret about Chuck relate to the receipt for a lunch date and the phone call?

I have a theory but it is deep into left field. Not sure I am ready to post that yet! :ROFLMAO: ;)

Realize that this is pure speculation and I am pulling shit out of thin air and combining it with what we know.

Well, shit! I have to say I did not see that coming. I am going to assume the worst right now. I can only think of two reasons that Steph would have such a violent reaction to her sister bringing up a past romance. If Steph was heartbroken and it destroyed her. Maybe asked her sister to never mention it again, and never in front of Steph's husband it would make sense for her to fly off the handle. But the bigger reason would be really ugly. That it did not end well. Let's take a really negative scenario — rape, pregnancy, abortion, cheating (all or any of those things). I could understand any of those situations being a reason Steph would come unglued. And it would really shitty for her sister to mention "Chuck." It is interesting that Steph would never discuss it with her husband. But more importantly, how does that information play into the rest of what we know Steph is hiding? The receipt and lunch date and the phone call.

If it was a negative, really bad breakup, I don't see why he would show back up but could understand why Steph might hold back that info from her husband. Although doing so would be really shitty. Kinda on brand for Steph.

But if it wasn't a bad breakup, he is back, she met him for lunch.

Alright, this falls into the category of TMI and personal. The last woman I dated and thought it was going somewhere was a swinger. And she was fascinated with this stupid idea of Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. Her fantasy was to have a threesome with her ex and me — Alpha and Omega. Of course, she wasn't entirely over the ex. So, I am jaded when it comes to these issues, in the game or real life.

I hear you, Steph and her secrets are reminding me of my first marriage. A marriage built on secrets is no marriage at all. Too many people know bits of the puzzle except the one person who is supposedly her 'hero' and should know her secrets. Steph no longer drives me crazy, she is just contemptable at this stage.

Bring on the eloping with Gina ending. If there isn't one, I'll mod it lol.

Speaking of Gina, I still don't see what Steph is on about her. We are not privy to whatever it is, I guess. Maybe a feeling Steph has after the dinner conversation. Maybe they have been talking (we know she has Gina's contact info). I wonder if anything will come of that. Will Gina push the MC a bit more? Is Steph being a bit jealous?

ofc I'm even more cynical than you, but some of those theories dont jibe with sister's comment about "After Chuck, any man would look amazing in comparison" - that makes it sound like the latter stuff as opposed to heartbreak...... which is a good thing in my mind? Not good for her character, but good for minimizing ntr plotlines. I'm sure the devs will surprise me though!
