In response to my question about toxic women I received this response from the dev. There are spoilers so ask yourself if you really want to know before reading.
Part of that is a mistake I made in how I extended a path that was supposed to end Friday night, and then later I wanted it to flame out spectacularly at Tori's - which admittedly was a bad choice. I made a couple of bad choices with that content (Which has all been covered in the news updates), and we've corrected most of it. There is still a little dialogue cleaning that needs to happen. Once that part is fully brought into line with the main line (which has remained unchanged), the rest of my answer would be as follows.
When writing an objective test (A,B,C,D answer), you create wrong answers that are called distractors. The distractors are supposed to, at times, sound more correct than the one correct answer. The idea of a friend doing this, it will hurt me A LOT in the real world, but I play games for try things that I will avoid in the real life. The real problem was how Steph looks indiferent to mc in the sex scene with jason. But not only this, the sex scenes happens after the MC face a fantastic dialogue with Tori. Man, in that moment, I always just on fire. I was hoping both girls sharing the black guy and the mc enjoying the situation, after all he clearly like the idea of being cucked in this path. Even if the black guy is bigger than him, even if both girls will enjoy his friend's dick most. I just want to be there. Great post and I really appreciate you being so open with your feelings. Is this game swinging or cuckolding? Well that is a very good question. The easy answer is, on High Confidence it is swinging, on low confidence it is cuckolding, but certainly doesn't look like that at the moment. So we will see what happens there. I'm a bit mystified by the dev saying he wrote the ending five months ago while telling us the endings had changed a while back so its not clear. The game is advertised as swinging but we aren't seeing it.
For my wife and I sharing is about us. Its never about the 'bull', he or she is a means to an end. I'm certainly not a sit around in my clothes sort of guy either. Well at the start for a while but not for long. I'm there in the action with my wife and our attention is on each other. That is our ideal experience and it does enhance our sexuality as a couple for months after. In saying that other couples do it in other ways. I'm always asking questions of others in the various lifestyles. Every couple has their own thing and different guys have different kinks. I am often at a loss to understand why some of these guys have the kink they do. There is a whole spectrum of ways couples go about sharing and the kinks guy have. Sadly, porn, VNs, etc tend to have a certain stereotype which alludes to very few of us in these lifestyles. Sure there is a significant percentage of submissive guys. Just some thoughts on the devs revelations.
All the girls have their faults for sure, but the single ones are at least fun at this point in the story. Why not have a couple of nice women in the story at least? Then the guys aren't any better I guess. I don't expect characters to be perfect but I do need them to make sense to be able to immerse myself in the story which was easy to do until the Tori/Jason event.
I thought most of the spoilers were pretty evident except two, that one event being so significant with Steph, and Tori. I look forward to seeing what Steph could possibly say for herself and how that event is connected with the other little mysteries. The game has certainly not gone where many of us thought it would go, to quote a few of you.
Re-Tori, I have no choice but to believe the dev since he is the writer. I assume Steph confessed to Tori and Tori may be trying to help her but it is really a fucked up way to do it. Deception upon lies. You can't help fix people with Tori's plans that she revealed in the dialogue. Its certainly not the way to 'save' a marriage. Anyway, they are skippable in the future, I will certainly take advantage of that.
Steph certainly drives us crazy and the devs certainly walk a fine line there. I don't trust a thing she says. I'm not sure if that was their intention with her or not. I certainly wouldn't have tolerated five years of marriage with her nor her secrets.
I thought the ending of the story had changed? I'll bring that up.

We’ve made some good progress this week, and in next week’s news update, we will announce an update to the game. At that time, we will discuss what’s being added to the game as well as the release of the updated demo. So no update to the game this week, but there will be one next week.
We’ve started working on the endgame, and what we are going to do is something we call end looping. In a lot of the games that I’ve played over the years, I’ve reached the end, declared victory, and then felt like I wanted something more. I do the same thing with a TV series if I really get into it. Basically, I’m not ready to say goodbye to the characters yet. So for our game, we’re going to have a clear ending, but we’re not going to end it.
If you are enjoying spending time with our characters and want to continue rather than start the game over, we’re going to have something for that. The game will end, and then it will loop you back to the MC and Steph in the house trying to decide what they want to do on a Friday night sometime after the main story is complete and all of the questions have been answered. You will then have a choice of one night scenes you can play through and then it will bring you back to our couple sitting at home trying to decide what they want to do on a Friday night once again. So the game will end with a closed loop you can play as many times as you want. And the choices will include a route to the gallery. What is available in the gallery will be based on your last game save. So if you didn’t get any scenes with Amber, her stuff won’t be active in your gallery.
When we go to final release for the game (or shortly thereafter), there will basically be two loop choices and the gallery. After release, this mechanism will give us the opportunity to grow the game while we work on the sequel. It’s like the after-hours section in that it creates a point in the game where we can add things without changing the story. We’ll start with a loop where you go back to the bar with your wife to have drinks with Gina, and we will also do one with just you and Steph. Of course each of those will lead to a scene at the house. We’ll do something similar with Paul next and then we will continue to add more of these loops, and your list of choices will grow.
These loops will be all new content. We’re not going to recycle the Friday night scene with Steph or the Saturday night scene with both of the girls for this. Those scenes would already be in your gallery (at least one will be there for sure) so you’ll be able to go back to those if you wanted.
These loops will include choices and will have some story other than, hey, let’s get a drink and hit the
bed. They are also going to be a bit of a playground for us as I hope to experiment with randomizers and some new game mechanics where the player can make choices during a sex scene that change a partner’s pleasure level and potentially unlock other content.
Of course, before the loops open, we'll end the story. And as I indicated before, there will be three basic types of endings. The first is the grand prize, you figured it all out, and you will end with a scene that sets up the next game. The second is our runner up where you figured out most of it, and you end up with a scene that let's you know all is well but you didn't quite get it all. And the third is the basic ending that focuses more on you and Steph heading towards your happily ever after with whichever new friends you chose to make. And let me stress that these are three "types" of endings. The second and third categories will have multiple versions. The grand prize, the one true ending, the ending to rule them all, ya there's only one version of that one.

I'm not the first one here to say this, so I'm paraphrasing someone here (dont remember who)..... It seems like there are very few devs that actually come from a background of cuckolding interest. The vast majority either come from the corruption, cheating, or "ntr betrayal" type fetishes, and their brand of cuckolding is molded accordingly.
Their interests don't come from a "watching your wife/gf" perspective, their interests come from a "experience the bully corrupt the woman" or similar, and the scenes are written in that vein.
I am excited to see how they implement this type of "ending" to the game! I love the idea of going back to replay those key moments and getting a new aspect of the scene. It certainly improves the replayability (It's a word. I wrote it so it must be a word!) of the game and gives us a little more time with the characters we love, and the characters we love to hate!

The endings we will see. I'm not sure how that is win, win big and win really big mentioned in a previous post.
They said in one of the posts we would have choices to forgive or not forgive Steph and others. If you don't forgive Steph shouldn't there be a divorce Steph's ass ending? It seems like they are going to force MC to stay married to a woman he can't forgive if the player chooses those options unless that has all changed? Its a bit confusing.
Yes, I have been wondering about the forgive/don't forgive thing they were talking about. Perhaps it is not part of the game anymore? Or, she has this secret that she is going to tell her husband. Is it that we have to choose to forgive her (or not) for withholding the truth? Or for whatever the secret is? Or is it about using Tori and Jason to steer him into an open relationship that needs forgiveness?
On that subject, why would going to Tori and wanting to go for an open relationship "help" the couple get through whatever it is that Steph thinks they need help with?
I think most of the complaints I've been reading about the Steph and Jason sex scene are a bit out of proportion. The game gives you several opportunities to make sure that you don't want anything to happen at the meeting:
- right before, no matter the dom1 path, you can tell Steph that today you just want to go there to talk. She'll respect that and there'll be no sex. Again, no matter the dom1 path.
- at the meeting, if dom1 is either 1 or 2, Jason will ask you how you feel so far and you can tell him that you're not ready to see him making moves on Steph. He will respect that and nothing will happen.
- at the meeting, when you're having the talk with Tori and dom1 is 3, you can tell her either that you're all in or that you're still not sure. If you choose the latter nothing will happen.
So the sex scene can only happen when dom1 is either 1 or 3, and if it does happen it's because on that playthrough the MC is ok with that.
We have a lot of variations between the different dom1 paths and choices, I don't understand why having the option of making more different playthroughs could be seen as a bad thing. You still can have a dom1=1 playthrough with no sex between Jason and Steph so far.

After the devs reveal answer I posted, I'm certain Steph and Tori talked about Steph's problem at the Christmas Party. Steph had lunch with Tori. Tori decided to 'help' Steph through a convoluted deception and sex plan and working a run around the MC which really pisses me off if that is the case. Steph talks to everyone it seems except the one person she needs to talk too.
This will come as a shock, but I think Steph may be innocent in one aspect. I don't think Steph knew about Tori's deception. Steph seemed surprised (if you can trust her) and she was angry with Tori for the 3some offer.
Of course, it just makes Steph's behaviour and Tori and Jason more disgusting pulling all this shit while MC is the only one not in the know.
Anyway see what happens I guess.

You might be right, but, if you don't do the route with dommy, everything else is very vanilla, because there won't even be gina etc.
It's true that Jason says those words to him, but you forget that when Jason proposed the threesome to him, he only told less than half the truth. If Jason had told him everything, since he was still at the beginning, Mc certainly wouldn't have accepted. , to go there with Sthep.
It's true that Tori tells him everything, but at the beginning, however, when she specifies the part that Jason omitted, she specifies that rather than looking for Mc, they were more interested in Sthep, and all this leads to the lunch receipt, and to the phone call, which makes it clear that in any case Sthep, with or without Mc, had already made his decision.

Just kidding. I think a gallery being locked to a save/route is not very useful. Might as well load a save before those scenes. I also wonder how they decide which save. By date-time? Filename?

When you talk about choices, a choice that offers either option A: progress through a scene, or option B: End the game with a message, I wouldn't really call that much of a choice.
Like I said, I need to play the most recent, but do correct me if I'm wrong in the summary that on the dom1=3 path, it still ends with either jason fucking steph while you watch, or nothing at all (quick game end). This has always felt like a putrid outcome to what should be the "middle ground" path (-2 < confidence < 2).
I'm completely fine with the dom1=1 and dom1=5 paths.
The reality is they introduced the "humilation cuckold" outcome over a month ago at this point(in a game that's 3 months old!), and instead of patching the game forward with other outcomes, they've only tweaked the flow and added new content to that existing humilation cuckold path! Based on this, I'd say the complaints are entirely reasonable and proportional for what started as a swingers game.
re Amber, I don't disagree. But I'd put that on the devs - to my memory they don't set any variables (Other than those that concern the mc) towards Steph's attitude and reaction. I'd have zero issue with Steph reacting negatively or punitively if Amber wasn't handled with integrity.
