is the game really dropped or will it return?
The dev said he didn't know what they were going to do with this game. So it may get revisited maybe not. It would be nice to see them come back and at least give it some sort of ending for those who bought the game on Steam.

True that.... I liked it also.. as many did . No complaints. Some were very critical, and I think they just got tired of trying to please everyone.
TRUE...I really liked the game and was surprised when I saw it was abandoned.

There was no game update. Changenumber is just for steam to notify Clients that these games in this changenumber had things done and need refreshing ie stuff like change in Community Tags, Reviews, etc. It looks to me steam just cleaning the database.
If you click on the changenumber it will show a list of all the games that are part of that store update.
The last update to the game is under Depots and it's from March 2nd.

Dev couldn't handle the criticism the FMC and his game got so he went back and retconned the story multiple times and then finally burnt out. He should have just stuck to his vision and grown a thicker skin.

The very loud squeaky wheels were never going to be happy. It was pointless trying to mollify them. The game was supposed to have a wife that was somewhat nefarious and a husband who was caught up in following his dick to the wrong conclusion with some kind of finance subplot. This wasn't going to be a happy little swinging story. It was going to be the kind of movie you watch on Cinemax at 3 am. It could have been glorious trash. We will never get that vision, though, more the pity.
Yep honestly that's why I hate it when people complain. Let the dev make his story. If you don't like it move on or make your own game. Just my 2 cent.
They didn't say why it was abandoned. No reason was given. All the spokesmen for the devs said was - This game is no longer being developed. We've had a change in direction, and I have yet to decide what will ultimately happen with this game.

I think people wanting to take over the vision of the devs are ruining many of these games.

It's a bit vague for me, but nobody were trying to take control of their vision.
They announced their game as a swinging game where MC depending on your choices won't be a cuck but an equal participant alongside with his wife. They gathered swinging audience.
Instead - we got a game where regardless of your choices MC is a pathetic looser who gets almost nothing while his wifey fucks everything that moves.
So people started to criticize, it was totally justified if you ask me.
