When do devs learn that no one wants or needs puzzle shit in a porn game? Thats like making a shooter game and at the end of each level we play trivial pursuit and if you don't know the answer you can start over. Just a ridiculous game mechanic that serves no purpose.

But i am glad his patreon posts explained alot on how most things that slow down the progress are out of his hands. He would be way faster in typing if he explains what exactly is in his hands at this point.

Summary:
This guy would be rich if he just released a 0.1 already instead of just trying to make a 1.0 right away. With a 5 min demo he got like 1500$ extra income/month? He's been reworking/polishing his game for a loooong time, might as well release something with all the content he has teased for months and get 10k $ more instead of being so insecure about his work. I don't know if he is the best perfectionist in the world or if he is just dumb and doesn't like money.

I thought the same thing, with a simple Demo he went from 230/240 Patrons to 473 (new record just this month), if he released version 0.1 he would get 3 things:

- the probable doubling of his patrons with a gain of 4k / 5k $ (the salary of an important doctor)

- the trust of its patrons (which means long-term gain, even in periods in which you do not release anything)

-3/4 months of tranquility, a summer without the worry of having to release something


the ironic thing about this whole thing is he could get really rich if he just wanted to, because he has talent you have to admit

just getting the special renders/animation and polls out to the higher tier patrons is something I get a lot of joy

Like i already said before: this promise """""game"""" is just marketing strategy for what he really does: pinups and animations. There's a name for this and starts with S.

I can't see the 6 coments in this post on patreon, but i'm 99% sure that is something like this: "don't worry, take your time, we like been milked and give money for 2 years and getting nothing". Well, is not my money so i really don't care. I just like to come here and highlight how ridiculous this supposed game development and this dev have become.

He would be a top politican. They basically invented the "speak for hours to say literally nothing" game.

Your english is fine. And i have to agree with your list. He could do great things and become one of the top money makers on patreon if he would release a 0.1 version. If his 1.0 Version drops (which i hope but i wouldn't bet money on that) he will increase in patreons by quite alot. However if this takes him too much time to accomplish his work will be in vain when people pull their pledge and only come back right before his next version drops.

We have that on Summertime Saga all the time and right now that is almost a spike of 20k right before the release of a new version. I just can't understand his choices at all.

Simply put,

He said no matter what he keeps on milking his patrons.

This same thing he did last year with utmost silence but for a change he is doing it now with weekly/biweekly status updates.

I think it's because patreon started messaging them, almost all of those patreon milkers came from there slumber to post excuses every week.
