11 months since last update... is this still a thing or is game done????
No, it's not. Abandon all hope. And certainly don't read anything above your own post. Nothing of value ever comes from reading previous posts. Too bad the dev couldn't just tell us anything. I'd have a smidge of hope if he'd pop in just earlier this month. But that certainly didn't happen. Go ahead and ignore the thread and find something else.

The game is, of course, still in development. Just take a quick look at my page from time to time to see the latest progress and fresh news.

But yes, it’s taking a while. I won't deny it. That’s the challenge of working (almost) alone on a project of this scale, which can admittedly be a bit too ambitious at times. Plus, there are several ongoing tasks simultaneously on Apocalypse Lovers. And since I have to juggle this with having a life (unfortunately), progress is naturally at a human pace.

Anyway, back to work I go. See you soon!

Man, and here I was hoping that the people who don't read would go away to never return. Oh well. There's always next time.

shhhush the great tron is watching lol
:censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:

On a more serious note, some scenes feel very awkward with a sharp-jawed kinda bimbo-type woman (I really don't like this type of character physically)
The story is intriguing though, I'm having fun overall.

I'm really enjoying it. At some points looks like having a strong influence from Stephen King.

The only con i'm finding is that is beeing released very slowly, but the Dev has already explained why a few posts ago.

Yeah what I like is the change of pace, you can be an actual piece of shit and you can play with that fetish... you and I mean you as a person wouldn't do that but pretty much like fetishes and forbidden thingies work...

So yeah you can gashlight her and make her your sex doll all the while having mental breakdowns with your imaginary wife so what I can say, so far so good in terms of "a different type of game in which you're not the hero all the time and all the women fall for you and your instabig cock".

I love the game and the fact that different actions actually make different outcomes but...
After playing it the first time I went to your Patreon thinking I would support the game, but I soon figured out that you had not updated the game in a long time and most your posts seemed to consist of explanations of why you were delayed. If you had payment per update, sure, but I don't want to pay for 12 months and get only one update.

The fact that you post on Patreon that you are hiding in the bathroom at your 9-5 job instead of doing what you are paid to do doesn't make it any better.

Hey, thanks a ton for playing the game! I'm happy you enjoyed how your choices can lead to wildly different outcomes. I'm doing my best to create multiple paths to enhance player freedom and replayability.

As for the Patreon posts, I'm surprised you interpreted them that way. My main goal with those development updates is to keep players in the loop about the latest additions to the game. This way, you can be sure the game is progressing well and that I'm actively working on it, even if new releases aren't super frequent. And even despite life's various curveballs (like having to juggle two jobs.), I've always been careful not to promise any dates I can't commit to, out of a sense of honesty.

Remember, I'm a one-person show here, handling everything from graphics to text, down to every line of code and Python function. So, it's natural for the project to move at this pace. But hopefully, I'll soon be able to pick up the speed significantly if I can afford to invest all my time into it.

Anyway, thanks again for playing! I'm genuinely happy you enjoyed the game. That's what matters most to me and is my biggest motivator.

P-S : And no worries at all about not being able to contribute on Patreon. I totally get it. As I see it, someone who wants to support me wouldn't be paying for something specific and fixed, but rather because they enjoyed what I’ve created and want me to keep going. If that's the case, and they're able to support me, they can chip in according to their means.

Haha, well spotted! There's also a significant influence from Lovecraft (minus the tentacles, of course) :ROFLMAO:!

Haha, the scene with Jessica talking about sucking on something that could help her fall asleep... Very good game, honestly.
