Yeah, just another info update...
I understand that you are really waiting for the update, and many of you are probably tired of waiting. But yeah, I am still making and fixing some things.
I had to take some time for myself and my health last week. Unfortunately, it slowed me down a bit. Nevertheless, you will get an update soon. Not tomorrow or after, but soon. I hope you're already used to this chaos every time I'm trying to release the new version of the game.
So a bit more patience, and you'll get this beautiful ending of the chapter

I'm also an adult person and believe me, if I would be in trouble with my job this often, I would be a homeless by now. Don't misunderstand me, AoG is still my TOP1 on the website, but Dev is not even in the TOP10. Other - let's say "AAA" - games were already completed within the same period and what we have in here is basically a 10-15 minutes gamples every 6-8 months.This guy does not watch Spider-Man.You can't be serious mate.

Exactly. I understand if a person has problems, but people should not be ignorant towards the possibility that the guy is just milking his Patreons (and I feel really sorry for every single one of them at this point). This dev has an amazing potential - hell, his Gray had amazing story and I basically played it for that - the porn side was just a bonus. NotVil could go a long way with creating adult games. Imo he is/was the most talented developer I've seen on this website, but it just looks like he lost his drive.You can't be serious mate.
And that's because
1) He already finished one game which is running on presumably the same engine
2) He knows his engine already, he knows how to code and knows what he's doing, where to get his assets from (let it be inspiration for models, or how to obtain music and sounds)
3) He had problems releasing extremely short update (halloween & xmas extras) before, it took him like what - 6 months after halloween (maybe am exaggerating here, but the hell do I know, I just know it came way after the Christmas and Halloween actually happened, lol)?
Summarizing this, I am almost 100 % sure he just doesn't want to create games anymore and is fighting with himself to finish AoG. And that's ok. But what's not OK is to keep his steady income from Patreon.
He simply can't have so many problems with the engine in which he already finished one game. He would have to know about engine capabilities by that time, and would have to know that it's not the best choice for AoG. It's a shame, because if he really lost his drive, adult games will lose one of its most aspiring developers out there. Damn, if he was more reliable and consistent, he would've been able to make a banger making these games and quit his job.
But still it's a shame this game so fuckin underrated, this is definitely a top 10 game here with insane renders. This Other category sucks, It's so hard to come by this game unless you search about it. If NOTvil had same subs compared to ICSTOR i bet he would have delivered more than ICSTOR (If Icstor even finished his work)

I know its popular to shit on Icstor, but he has finished games that had arguably best renders and animations ~10 years ago. Stop drag in him in every shit.
Except he didn't, he hastily put out a final update that "finished" the game after getting bored developing it midway through. Both Incest Story 2 and Milf Villa were never truly finished but got an abrupt final update jumping from a mid 0.X version to 1.0 and that is it. Icstor deserves all the shit he gets, because he pulled this BS for years now.
I'd rather wait for a long time to get a properly finished game like Areas of Grey, than the BS endings Icstor pulled several times and now has given up completely and just milks his patreons without ever finishing his current game while already announcing TWO new ones

It would matter if there was a good story. Games by icstor was good because at that time there was none of that quality. He was long time the "market" and had many funs of his work for a reason. ICSTOR might do good renders but his games are basically just porn with no sense or story whatsoever. So he doesnt even need to be original to set up the scenes when basically the setting is how the girls just lust the MC regardless what he does or chooses. He's not exactly a genius of the AVN genre despite having capable hands at rendering stuff. Milfy City, for instance, might be top 10 as far renders and animation go, but as for everything else, not even top 50. Now considering how long he takes to release stuff, well... I'd say its somewhat okay to shit on him, especially considering how much he's making monthly compared to other devs.
As long as there are so many idiots throwing their money at him for (almost) nothing in return, he would be insane to stop milking those morons dry and getting rich off of them, as scummy as it is, his moronic patrons enable his bad behavior.
No, Patreon is not to blame, patrons that continue to throw money at devs that clearly show no intention to make good on their promises are to blame, because they enable these scams to work and continue to work. Sunken cost fallacy is certainly a factor in this, but at some point a person has to realize that they are being scammed and stop, but apparently not and they instead jump to the defense of the person scamming them
While I'm no patron of NOTvil, I at least don't get the impression from him that he is trying to scam people, especially since his patreon numbers are miniscule compared to people like Icstor and it simply wouldn't be worth it at that point, doesn't make the loooooong wait for the next update any less cruel tho of course

Not to go off topic, but giving infinite money never results in infinite work done. In economics you have a curve, where with higher salary, people start valuing their free time more, so they actually do less work. It makes sense really. This works double for patreon where it is hard to measure actual effort and with almost zero supervision.

If I understand correctly the 4th one is with Abigail in the orangery early in the morning and the 5th one is with her in the bed at night. I thought those are unaviodable, but maybe you need enough points to get them, don't remember honestly, but I hope time and location will help you.

This happened in my previous playthrough also! I'm guessing its about choice during dream sequence! In my playthrough I got Anal sex scene with Abigail twice!
I was a patron for a long while and as much I appreciate Notvil as an artist, both in design and writing, I just can't possibly justify being a patron of his any longer.
Purely for a cost/benefit reasons. His ability to deliver timely update with enough content just isn't there.
The day notvil start to develop games in renpy I will become a patron again in an instant. I get that he can't quite achieve the same aesthetics on renpy, or have the same minigames and whatnot but I wonder if the technical issues he has on almost every release isn't going to burn him out as well as his audience. Not to mention that he will probably double or triple his supporter count with faster and meatier releases on a much friendlier engine.
A guy this talented should be able to make a decent living in the adult game industry, I just don't see it happening at the current state of affaires.
