well, while I also like many of you dont like saving system because its not letting us have more then 1 save


I must admit I felt something at the end of new update.

The music, the timing, effects.

It will sound stupid maybe, but I think this was close to an art. From all games here , some of them that I love, this is the most artistic one, (unlike some others that act like an art but they are trash) This one is special.

After the end I realised I stopped fapping in the finale and was watching it more like a good movie, like new Dune or Blade Runner.

I think the visual aesthetic is unique and beautiful, and the music lends to a fitting ambience. The story and events playing out...that's a toss-up to me. It seems like it's aiming for something interesting and psychological, perhaps similar to the dev's previous game, but I'm not convinced it will all add up once the game is finished. But the last one did, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Okay, this is not cool. When I first downloaded the game, it didn't have mind control tags. In fact, when you boot the game up, it tells you all the sex is consensual, but that's an outright lie if mind control is involved.

Also, I went ahead and played it and the cliffhanger at the end...

I'm sure a lot of you are going to facepalm me, but I'm not playing this anymore. I really wish I had known that crap was going to be included so I never would have even tried it.

This is not the first game that has done this to me. I'm getting sick of it.

There's one UI design choice I don't understand, and it makes absolutely no sense why it's done this way. When a character speaks, there's no name indicating who's speaking. The only indication the player has to know who's speaking is the head of the character model in the top left corner of the dialogue box. So... why is the model for the characters head facing away from the screen? All the player can see is a rear/side profile of a head. Which is a real issue when 90% of the characters in the game are female brunettes. Also, often the character speaking isn't predominant on the screen, which adds to the frustration of following which characters are speaking. Why not turn the characters head models in the dialogue box facing the player, so we can at least see their faces? I'd honestly like names added too, but faces facing the player is a bare requirement if adding names will detract from the minimalist UI approach. It's such a baffling design decision. I really hope this gets fixed for all the episodes is a future update, because it's frustrating to follow the dialogue.

This is like M. Night Shyamalan decides to make porn game... and miserably fails... like in most of his movies...
it is like he wanted us to get bored to death of pointless sex scenes...
i didn't have any intention to go through maze minigame after clicking through all that sex scenes that didn't get me at all excited...Bye bye

I do not comment on games very frequently....only for games I consider exceptional. Areas of Gray is exceptional because the storytelling is very good and sets up the sex scenes in a unique and remarkable way. The developer has been creative and the characters are nicely compelling. The sex scenes are good. The player being external to the characters is also a nice change from the usual approach we see here. Unlike other commenters, I think the UI is clear and easy to use. The end point of the game also sets up a continuation of the story while providing a "satisfying" conclusion. I want to see more of the characters, the themes of external control, and the shadowy purpose behind all of this control.

Can anyone give me a resume of the story, I think I might have forgotten some stuff (as there is a lot of time between updates).
Why do Adam eyes changes already? What is the "black adam" ?

can some explain what wa sthat black man and time? are they halucinacions from gas? or main hero gone crazy to live with 2 daughters/lovers and 2 androids. also he writed mary (android name in pc) we all thought he write some novell
