Kindra was my initial Artemis Crush, I came from Leap of Fate because of her cameo, but eventually I fell in love with Paige and Reina, the order I guess will depend when in 20 years time their routes will finally start. But, I still like Kindra, she is hot and her personality is fun, so I wouldn't kick her out of bed...or matrimony. Plus her upcoming June birthday threesome(don't you dare bait and switching me, digi!), or the thought of double teaming her ex with her gets me going.

Hey everyone,

just a quick check in. This week was mostly code work, trying to simplify things for future workflow. Also render dumps into the code. That wraps it up for things Artemis related from last week.
Below will just be a personal update.
Firstly. Thank you everyone for the support. I took a break from my social medias to just focus on mom and family. She's still in the hospital and was transferred to ICU. She had the necessary procedures done and is conscious, however she's having a difficult time getting the breathing tube removed. The hospital has strict visitation for patients in the ICU, so my new office is in the hospital's cafeteria where I'll be working on Artemis while I wait on updates about my mom.
On that note, there's something I've been wanting to say to you guys for a while. This year, you guys have been a major blessing to my mom. She's been battling stage IV breast cancer since 2019 and this year has been very difficult for her. But because of you guys, you've allowed me the ability to be present to take her to her appointments (she became wheelchair bound in March), be here for her to administer her medications, fight doctors who would take advantage of someone not strong enough to fight for themselves. Because of you guys I don't have a boss to say I have to take X day off or have PTO to worry about. I just pack my laptop and take my mom to her appointments. I even relocated back to mom's home earlier this year and worked there while being able to monitor and care for my mom.
So I can't thank you guys enough for blessing me with this opportunity to be a developer and having the freedom to work this project wherever. Thank you guys for allowing me the freedom to schedule mom's appointments as early as possible without thinking twice about my own schedule. And thank you guys for allowing me the freedom to just be available for my mom this year.
That's about all I have to share from last week. This week, I'll be working on more code for CH6 and custom artwork for Artemis tiers.

Genuinly Best Game i've ever played yet and i played a lot
mostly others the story is always meh or rapidly becomes non interesting and its just porn at that point
while this game Literally has a Great story telling and progress
usually i just play this kind of games for the sexual aspect of it but this one for the first time actually made me read every dialogue and enjoy whats going on in the game from the small things to the big events
Cant wait for chapter6

and always at this point:

i mean.. its the right thing to scold her.. everyone with children knows that buuut...
how can anyone be mad at her??



i just want to cuddle her smoother her with love and protect her from every danger
but yeah.. i always end up scolding her
she has to learn and sometimes you have to be firm..
at the kitchen i went easy with her (you cant just tell a (kid) to do this and expect it to get it right the first time)
but running away is a no go..

I really hope digi found a good "cooing" sound - I hear it in my head each time she does it, but would still like it if he were able to get a really good sound clip - pitch fluctuating around F# - a nice Alto coo....

haha yeah that would be nice i also always imagine it with a sweet soft voice - *cooing* .. i always have to smile then she does it
but i dont think we will "hear" more of her sweet *cooing* sounds since she developes so fast and i wont hold it against him if he doesnt find a sound because i hear it in my head

I had read - pages ago, so I'm not sure exactly where - that he'd said something on Dis or Pat about looking for a voice actress to do it. I expect it will be one of her quirks for at least another release or two, and he'd likely update 0.5 to add it in if he went to the trouble of getting it made. The way I have my saves for this one, I have points at the beginning of each new chapter for each of my routes and could go back and experience it from when she first started.

I hope he don't insert a sound for this. I love Artemis' "cooing" I've in my head when reading those parts. I'm afraid a sound would destroy it and can never become as good as the sound we've in our heads for her.

Yeah, I don't need sounds in a game. The argument always comes up with people talking about how "the music makes the scene" or crap like that - but I don't care. I like the game to be silent. If it can't convey the needed tone through the writing, then the writing is poor.

Having any part of a game voiced before it's complete is a foolish idea, just due to how long dev time takes in the first place. Get the shit done, and then potentially look at having voice talent added.

It depends. Good ost it's great, but you shouldn't mortgage your house to license music. Sounds and voices, on the other hand, are super iffy and tend to be bad because you need high quality stuff for it to marginally contribute, and it's not worth the price.

I think that was the only time I ended being firm with Artemis. Even on the escalator I did the carry. It makes more sense to let her do it herself..., but I mean c'mon look at her she's so adorable

yeah i am also one whos always sweet and carring with her - as you stated - she´s such a sweet adorable beings
the only time i used the other "firm" approach was while eating in the kitchen with Kidra´s Uncle (but just because of the outcome )
