My three very basic scenarios all happen post battle after the mc gets a chance to reassert himself and vanquish Cassandra. I think Cassandra must remain one of the primary villains throughout most of the story and war must be waged against her. However, as the battle rages on, it could be interesting if details are slowly revealed about her that make the decision of how you choose to eventually end up with her more difficult. For example, what if we begin to discover that some form of intricate trap, coercion, or blackmail influenced her betrayal of the mc? Once Cassandra has been vanquished and is kneeling at my feet, I don’t think I’d mind if digi.B has somehow skillfully woven in detail that makes me a little ambivalent about whether to spit on her face or give her a helping hand up.
that wouldnt work bro, if she was blackmailed and shit why would she still fuck the MC over every chance she gets?

Blackmail is just one stupid example. I'm not sure whether it could "work" or not. It's the first release and we really don't know much about Cassandra's history, other than her being an evil cunt towards the mc and Kindra. If I recall, in chapter one we don't actually see the conversation between Reina and Cassandra in Reina's office when Cass supposedly sabotages the mc's job opportunity. And we aren’t provided the exact details about why Reina turned down the mc for employment, because he doesn't ask. I know I would've asked why I wasn't being hired. But instead, the mc throws his phone away like a little bitch and neglects to even call to thank June for recommending him for the opportunity. Of course, I assume Cass sabotaged him, but I don't know for sure. Maybe more will be revealed about Reina’s reasons.

Regardless, my point was that digi.B may fill in all kinds of detail about Cassandra's background that make her more multi-dimensional. If she's set up as a love interest like everyone is saying, then I wouldn't be surprised if curve balls will be thrown at us.

Indeed. I think a lot of people are prematurely jumping into conclusions based on a mere prologue. A good writer can throw some excellent curveballs, and so far I haven't seen anything to suggest digi.B to be incapable of it :)

Okay, i'll start...

Cassandra used the MC to work on a project, planned in advance to steal all his work and leave him with nothing. After that he hit rock bottom, contemplated suicide and spent a hell of a long time going through therapy just to be able to try and live some sort of normal life.

Ever since that day she ruined him, she ran into him a couple of times and has continued the streak of ruining his life and likely will continue given her role as an antagonist.

Now, make sense of a romance angle ..... go.

Im not saying I'd want to romance her, but maybe he will lose all his memory after winning the lotteries ten times in a row, and then she will hit on him, maybe then it would happen... but nah I dont think so.

It would take a lot to write a story where she could redeem her actions, Reina has far less to make up for, she just listened to the lies Vulvamort spouted and didn't offer him a job, that can be redeemed far easier.
Note I didn't say easily...

My mc will never romance Cassandra. He will never touch her. Not only because of what she's done, but also because Kindra, June, and the doc are my primary love interests. However, depending on if persuasive curve balls are thrown, I can imagine the possibility down the line of me accepting Cass as an ally against TWRR, after she's knocked down a peg.

Yeah, I ain't on board the Reina hate train at this point. If I recall correctly, she runs INK, which is some type of public relations firm. If so, there are ways the mc can align himself with Reina beyond just accepting employment with her. For example, he could use her to handle the promotion for the technology he and Kindra are developing. I consider Reina as a potential ally and fuck buddy I will eagerly feast upon, if given the opportunity.

As long as we don't get a stupid plot twist like we got in Leap of Faith "it was to protect you". Yeah you are right, it would not make sense. The VN will never be long enough for Vulvamort to accumulate enough brownie points. She could start defending the MC and rooting for him but that shit is too little to late. It would need to be years in game time.

I have seen this shit in real life marriages and it isn't about what the fucktard can do to makeup. The fucktard needs to stick around, behave and wait for the victim to let go of the grudge and it can take years.

Yep! All these Cassandra "apologizers" :ROFLMAO: have nothing to go on except for one twinge of conscience when the MC says he loves her while she is executing her plan to fuck him over (if the player goes that route). On the other side of it is everything you detailed... Plus when it comes to Reina we don't get to see her side of the conversation where she didn't hire the MC. The MC did a bit of "uh huh, thank you, okay, bye" and then left. So Reina could have told him a valid reason for not hiring him, she could have given him a BS reason, or just refused to state anything. Regardless, he doesn't have a clue that Cassandra showed up at Reina's office (unless Reina told him), so he really has no reason to want to see Reina or any of the women who work for her again. Beyond dumb porn "my dick needs a pussy" logic.

As to the idea of thanking June for the "chance" or not holding this against her... He was depressed, hopeless, and then June gave him hope and he began thinking he wasn't a useless unemployed nobody... Now he's right back where he was before, he trusted June to help get him out of the mess his life was in and it went nowhere... At least now he has a chance to work on something with Kindra, something to be excited about for the first time in a long time.

I actually hope that digi.b does a little bit of a time jump instead of having the MC immediately get back into contact with everyone. Really want the next installment to not be dumb but not sure I should be optimistic considering the existence of HoI...

Well, I think we have been given too many threads to have the MC walk away from IV and INK.

Though it would be nice, a time jump would allow some time to make Reina reevaluating her decision more believable. The problem is now that Kindra has humiliated Cassandra on national TV, as well as showing that Koko exists, Cassandra will not let it rest for any amount of time. She is angry and would be seeking vengeance for "how she has been wronged."

Tits. ;)

Joking hate that bitch. I highly doubt she will be a romance option unless hate fucking her while choking her out is considered romance.

I don't think the reason Reina didn't hire him is all that complex. I'm guessing TWR is a large client of theirs. Cassandra would only have to say that she has a history with him and that if they hired the MC TWR would no longer do business with her company. Whether or not Cassandra as a partner actually had enough influence to do that who knows.

Now after that interview where Cassandra comes off looking like a moron. I expect Reina will now cut ties with TWR and offer the job to the MC. I'm sure it will come with an apology and an explanation. Whether or not we have an option to take it or not will be up to the dev. I suspect we will be forced to accept a job there and I'm okay with it. I'm sure Reina originally wanted to hire the MC, but you can't hate her for looking out for her business.

On the whole June issue I have a thought... not sure if it fits but it's a thought. I am guessing in the bible of contract paperwork cassandra had MC sign (that she altered) there was some clause or non compete some technicality that gave cassandra and her company some kind of power over his future. This is where my whole he is going to end up back in her claws theory comes from. To support this theory the woman who owns INK doesn't seem like a push over as in even if a high profit client came in and tried to coherse her into not hiring MC she wouldn't have gone for it makes me think there is some legality/technicality that keeps him from being hirable to her firm. I could be wrong it's just a theory/thought but I think it fits. I also think MC should be consulting an attorney because he was drunk at the time he signed and most laws state that you can't be in an altered state of mind when signing legal documents. Not sure he could win a case like that but it definitely be worth looking into.

There's a new Patreon update but I can't see it because I'm a poor person. Can someone post it here?
