It's all proprietary and patented. K's company owns it through and through. MC would know this, he is not an idiot plus he said he would finish it with out claiming ownership. Also we don't know the actual details of the contract. All we know is he has been given a prestigious position with many benefits and boons. K has given him zero reason not to trust it. And, as we can observe, he has been working on his issues through out.

As Hunter AI processes the questions, it become overhelmed, triggering Koko's code (which Cass stole.) to engage, which results in him barking like Koko. While i think you expecting Aiden to demand 100% control is over the top, i agree with you, that Aiden shoud demand something or Kindra even force it on him.

Its just a bit strange that he wasnt able to partner up with kindra because of trust issues, but working for her with no rights to his contributions is easy peasy, all gucci. Its just kind of weird.

You could actually turn it around and argue a good person would be worried about the future of artemis (their kid *cough*) and therefore would fight for the rights to have agency about the decisions of her future.

Buuuut possibliy somethins like that is included in the contract already or as was already mentioned by a other poster, maybe its a point in the next episodes for Kindra and Aiden to find long term solutions. They did not have a lot of time to plan everything accordingly yet (which they should have, they rushed this whole thing but thats fine).

No, I don't want Cassandra to succeed. I want her to be humiliated in public. But for that to happen, she has to complete Hunter. I've imagined a face-to-face confrontation between Hunter and Artemis. I'm fine with Hunter barking too. Or anything else Digi can come up with. But I hope it's not just a trivial failure of the project.

So, he is an employee now, which means very little of his work belongs to him; all his code, robot and everything else belongs to K's company. Also, legally, he has very little rights over robot and his code because of employee status.

This is not someone with trust issues would do, he should ask for %100 ownership of robot instead. Like this: "Ok, I'm gonna finish it but I have trust issues; so, I want its sole ownership status of it. If you accept my proposal, I will work for your company."

I really didn't saw it like that, Aiden has trust issues on the part when he is officially sharing "ownership" of a work project because of what happened with Cassandra, that is what is his afraid of and what triggers the anxiety, to be stabbed in the back again in a partnership where both parties are more than just business partners with no emotional entanglements.

It is not a materialistic concern or of possession because what I see is that there is really genuine trust between them and he knows even without an official ownership on Artemis or the code etc etc that Kindra will always trust and involve him on whatever THEY decide for Artemis and their work together. He is just afraid that if the status quo between them change (being official and legally partners) that it triggers his past trauma and afraid that will happen again.

Anyway maybe my point of view is wrong (or I couldn't put in words what I really think and took about this topic) or old fashioned and probably I'm naive (or even stupid) for this world because I'm much alike Aiden in that regard, care more with emotional connections and doing the right thing than materialistic/ownership connections.
