well, the game was designed as an NTR from the ground up, turning off the NTR simply skips the scenes with NTR in them so you miss out on content, but still some hints of NTR here and there I think even when turned off.
Triss we use the sandbox now. Please come to the Cottage on day 97 and have dinner with David in the evening. If he asks you if you can be his lover. Get up grab his eggs and ask him politely if he really wants that, and finish these questions forever.

sadly...yes....but the story is very illogical to me, step-dad taking the MSc family into dangerous grounds, as a cover for his police undercover operation to get in a drug ring, Turning the MCs mom into a fuck-toy for the drug dealers so that they would trust him more and she willingly does it, doesn't compute, if they are going for realism that's kinda far from it, looks more comical to me rather than a "grip the side of your set, somethings about to happen" feel to it

I wasn't really referring to the actual story, just the mechanics, progression and honesty of the game. Truth be told, I've yet to play it, but I was a patreon of Saddogs before he started it and when it starts to develop things Im interested in I will most likely become one for him again. Pretty sure it is supposed to be comical. If you played his other game "My Legacy" it is definitely done with a lot of intended humor. one of the drawbacks of NTR is you can't be fair with the MC, blue balls for him for as long as the writer demands it, perhaps that's where the true power of NTR lies, once the MC gets the same privileges as the NTR characters are getting I guess that power disappears?

Not if it's completely optional. With optional NTR there is no power over the MC from the NTR content, but there will still be blue balling. The MC should be blue balled in any story regardless of the subject matter because without the build up, the teasing, the anticipation, there is no story. If the author didn't blue ball the MC it would just be another sex scene like ordinary porn, sort of like My Little Princess. That's not a game, or even a VN, it's just a porn scene, with minimal context for flavor.

Case in point being Dating my Daughter, the entire game is build up to the main girl, but for the people who need teasers and samples he provides plenty of side girls to compensate for the blue balls.

Exactly, and I've even mentioned in that thread a couple times that people who are pissed about "milking" don't realize what they're asking for when they demand sex with D. But needless to say that idea is not received well. The whole game is about the build up to sex with D like you said. There isn't much else going on in that game story wise to keep the tension after F has sex with D. I think that game offers a valuable lesson with how to approach side material as well. Like you said, it's enough of a taste to compensate for the blue balls, it doesn't get in the way of the main story, but it also makes the anticipation with F/D even more heightened. In Au-Pair Innocence, the side material supersedes the main plot - tasha/alex, changes the characters irrevocably, and accomplishes the goal of the main story but in favor of the antagonist.

yeah, no more trophy to go after since it's already been taken, David can always give her back as a token, like a real father handing over his used whatever to his son, it would be a Kodak moment. it could happen

Actualy you can give sex on first update,just not with the main girl/see DoDana and PL/.
Let's hope you are right and wrong at the same time.Right that he will continue Alex/Tasha but wrong that he will do it after complete David's route.I bet we long away before David is done.

Unfortunately, the damage has already been done. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. Even if he does change it later, this update already tainted that sweet virgin LI. For anyone who has been playing this since the beginning this forever changes how the characters are perceived. For anyone who was invested in the original story and objective, Alex romancing Tasha, this update will always be there in the back of their minds reminding them that David won the prize first, and in such a cheap way that Tasha's character is now irredeemable.
If he’s not going to bother to develop both branches now and it is down to some vague hope that someday after he’s finished the full david ntr story he’ll maybe implement Alex/Tasha, despite the fact he’ll have narrowed his base down to people with no interest in that. Really! If it truly is going to be a sandbox develop both in parallel.

We will not feel it is original instead we will feel like the Dev had to do Alex/Tasha sex to just please all the fans No .. his real goal was David/ Tasha sex . and Alex /Ala. which is a bit sour .

That's the key, and the problem when you lose focus on the main story. Supposedly the next update will have Alex/Tasha stuff, but it's going to be really hard to come back from this.
Eh, honestly blue balling doesn't have to be a thing with the main LI either, at least not to the degree seen in a lot of games on this site. After a while things simply stop being plausible. Sex with the LI does not have to be the end of the story at all, it can be part of the introduction, somewhere in first act, in the middle, anywhere really.
