Look I know piracy probably dipped into his bottom line but it was his shitty approach to this game that killed it. Dev just kept making mistake after mistake with this game. People should stop supporting shit devs on patreon this one included.

Blaming piracy's just dumb. I bet I'm not the only one that found out about this game through f95, and that's how i've become a patron of his.

Piracy is not the point he didn't get more patrons.After all other games handle with pyracy too.He start almost same time like Sin/Dreams of Desire/ and T4bbo/Babysitter/ but he is not even close to Luxee/PL/ and Pandelo/MSN/.
His game simply miss the 3 big fetishes-incest,MILFS,young/in some cases realy young/ chicks.
Let's be honest Ala can hardly be a MILF.Try to compair her to Anna/Kira(BB),Mrs.Turner/Jenna(DoD),Georgina(DmD) or any of the ICSTOR MILFS.Even the moms in MSN,PL and A Wife and Mother are more hot.
Tasha/the only positive is she is Triss/ and Tanya surely can't be next to Alice/Lisa(BB),Tracy/Alice(DoD),D/Elena/Jennifer(DmD),Elly/Ada(PL),D(MSN),Christine/Jessica(Babysitter).
Not to mention he change his mind every 3 months.And menage to include all bad things from BB.No idea why he miss the good things.

I doubt it's a matter of his fetishes or models. They look fine. It's more about extremaly clunky design. Honestly in terms of design it's really unfortunate. It's based on BB but in comparison to MotH it's just poorly executed.

DMD used the most basic models we have. BB isn't exatly great as well. AI is much better in these terms. It's just these devs are much more talented with photoshop. They would reach their success as in their times every dev could reach it with decent planning. AI has decent renders and models or even more than that as main female is great. It's weird gameplay is much more problematic

Not to mention stupid idea to start with RPGM and waste 3 months before switch to Ren'Py.This definitely doesn't help getting more patrons.People don't like remastered porn games when they pay twice for same content.

Troublesome as well tho I think if his execution was on a level of MotH he'd be one of the most popular devs here as main heroine brings a lot of attention. A tad dissapointing as concept was really cool.

For all the giants miss this series and good sex in an exciting story. With Abi you could achieve this even faster. I am also surprised that Abi did not warn you before update 0.6. "You can capture Geralt, but his swords must always be nearby". David blackmail Tasha for an BJ and next Day Tasha piss on Alex and send him off???? On Top there closed the office door, for BJ or fucking what´s wrong with you. There are only 2 option either you want destroy your game on purpose or you have strange party New Years eve. All Patreon members are happy because there don´t care and surport David anyway all strong warnings about this action you or Abi don´t care and a well known Member was banned in a strong speech to this David Team to push you to far. But you decide to go on with 0.7, but this wasn´t importent at all. You break your story in 0.6!! How you can sale this Monday to us where you switch the MC from 100 to 0. If you read here more you never make this mistake. You leave now the stage where you can win all with " Witcher stories". Ask your self if you realy learn something out of this". Because many developer using these pages to improve her games.
First a little teaser, this time for all patrons. We know what is going on there, don't we?
And now we can sum up what we have. The story of Tasha (IAP) is getting closer to an end. There will be 1.0 maybe 1.1 as a final version. I got a lot of feedback during last months. Some improvement could be made but honestly, I don't see any point in reworking anything more. I don't think people are much interested to replay something that they saw already, it's better to focus on new stuff.
The games will have different endings depending on different "routes". So there is still some hot stuff to come.
We didn't manage to attract more patrons, so on average we have around 90 each month. I would guess that there are more people who like the game but they will never become patrons. Partly, because of the piracy. I still didn't get why people are so eager to share. I understand when they are making profit of it, but simply because of altruism... It makes sense in the beginning to promote the game but ... anyway it is long discussion.
Another thing is the amount of new games. Right now, I think every day something new shows up. There are good projects but there are a lot of shit as well. However, it isn't up to me to judge as taking in amount overall amount of support, the story of Tasha is somewhere at the bottom of popularity.
We were talking with Abi to start something new for quite a while already. But mostly we focused on IAP. We even started to do something but ... never get enough time to finish it. New project takes time. Especially first build as, an environment, characters has to be made first. And it takes a lot of time. But finally it is time. I'll make an announcement in upcoming days. So you can see characters. And some time after a first build will be released. No worries we still going to give you 0.9 somewhere at the end of the April anyway. So it is like a bonus.
New game is going to be visual novel. No grind and no sandbox design. Enough of this. I think right now there are plenty of games with sandbox and insane amount of grind. I want rather spend more time or story than those elements. And I am sure people just got tired of it. IAP suffers from it as well. So, not this time. I can't give you any dates as usual
Last thing. Let me guess you may have a question why begin a new game without finish the current one? It is time. I had good time with IAP but there it is time to move forward. Of course, we will focus mostly on finish IAP first.

This game started out okay then bugs, bugs, and more bugs. Once the bugs were removed, the story turned 100 -0 in 2 seconds so quick. A lot things could have been improved such as add more characters, plot (?), choice options but the dev quits and starts a new project. Yikes !

I couldn't agree more. Big Brother had a big issue with piracy problem also. But, the game survived and made a lot of money for the dev (darksilver). Fix the game and you will gain money. Piracy is your marketing tool and is not your enemy.
See heres the thing, when BB and DMD came out they set the precedent. You don't understand how bad the renders were back then. They came out with new models that set the bar for every other Dev, so shitting on BB or DMD's renders doesn't make any sense, the only reason Devs make good renders is because of BB and DMD'S success.

I've been playing these games much earlier than our Patreon " market" exists and I remember these renders. BBBen still uses his own models and Goblinboy was more or less the only big dev that was using renders. First generation of Patreon creators just found out about DAZ and renpy so all devs are using them as they're easy to use. It doesn't really matter if DMD, DoD or BB used them. Even without them they would be used. The only difference is that all these devs are really good with photoshop in comparison to average devs. DAZ for now is troublesome as all models are the same and it's more obvious with every new game. Even DS can't find new models in his Glamour as all his characters are well known.
