Great. But that doesn't make up for how this shit went down. He chose the wrong parings to focus on. Instead of keeping up with the main couple he focused on side shit. Now if he wasn't releasing the game month to month, the order on implementation wouldn't matter right. But as he IS doing that, the order of implementation is CRITICAL.
The main gameplay and story stopped for two months so that the Love Interest could be fucked by David. Hell, I know those scenes are supposedly optional but I don't see how you can advance with Ala unless you do at least some of the photo shit with David. And it also has the side effect of making the main girl, someone that the player should you know, want to get with into a ice cold bitch.

DAVID is not the main character. David is a playable antagonist. ALEX is the MC, the ENTIRE game is set up with the relationship between Alex and Tasha being the main driving force. The bulk of the gameplay is Alex. David's only real interactions are with whatever woman you bring to the beach house, and even then it is limited as fuck. He is the very definition of a secondary playable character. Using David in order to live the Harvey Weinstien life is a fine fantasy, but it's side shit. And no, as much as you think it is, Ala is not comparable. She's also side shit. It's not fucking rocket surgery.Bla bla bla people don't like stuff I do. :'
The David stuff stops Alex/Tasha cold in its fucking tracks, and makes her come off as a bitch.
And again, in principle, there is no problem with David and Tasha fucking. None. But the execution was awful.

The idea of David being a protag, is not one that holds merit to me as the first character I play as is the one who I consider my avatar in the story. The whole argument of left hand vs right hand and getting mad because one hand wins doesn't hold water because I don't consider David my extension. And if this is a game, you have a goal, your goal given from the opening and description of his patreon is Alex/Tasha. And as the game stands now you can do nothing but fail and have your failures rubbed in your face in a biologically infuriating way.
I understand some people might represent far more with David, but I don't and based on the comments here many don't either. And this idea I've begun seeing here on these forums with people laughing at others who don't like to get cucked is very foreign to me. To most males in the world, getting cucked is the equivalent of losing in one of the most personal ways. Personally back in highschool I was cheated on which invoked a feeling many seem to enjoy from the recent games I've seen so I will never find the idea of watching a loved one get plowed in front of me enjoyable. If that is your kink fine, but to me and many others it is not and is equally as repulsing as scat or vore.
When I see things marketed as 'cuck' on this site and patreon I go on my very way and ignore it letting people who do enjoy it do just that. But when games market themselves as vanilla shall we say, but halfway through begun forcing me into content I don't want to watch I get rightfully peeved.
