You should contact caxhub, who made an Android APK not an outrageously long time ago (December 2020), with a request that an updated APK be made when they have time. IIRC, if you have issues, they are usually really good with trying to help make sure your Android version that they created works for you.
I was bored, was looking for a game to shit on as most people on this forum does. Then saw this one, started reading reviews and grabbed my torch. While reading negative reviews, ignited my torch, I was ready to burn this game so hard. How dare the dev make a shitty game like this, shame on him/her!!! Started playing this disgrace of a game...
But, but... This game is actually fun, not just a VN, a weird game (in good way). Beautiful renders, attractive characters, a mystery story, juvenile humour but still manages to give some chuckles to me here and there. There's clearly a great effort and attention to detail even if you like it or not. I was really surprised, I think this must be one of the most underrated gems in this forum.
Game is not taking itself seriously, it has a light-hearted story with good enough writing, goofy (but hot) characters and an engaging mystery. Gameplay is fun, I actually enjoyed the "Suitcase" and its failed and successful experiments. About the bug minigame, unless you have a physical disability, everything is easy and dev already give you the option to skip.
Sound and voice effects are fun too, nothing annoying for me so far, no voice over, just some little effects for character situations. If you don't like it, just disable from settings.
I wish we had more control over the choices and gameplay instead of some fake choices and railroaded events.
I quite enjoyed this gem and looking forward to more content. Thanks and good luck.

I wouldn't take most of the reviews on this site to heart? I would say your average person on here is a drooling mouth breather so unhappy with the size of their own penis that they feel the need to shit on someone else' work that they are stealing in the first place? and the reviews they leave, generally make anyone capable of forming coherent sentences shake their head and wonder how they don't die of asphyxiation in their sleep, since sleeping and breathing through all that drool requires more brain power than they have? think of it like the episode of south park about yelpers. everything was great, food was great, wine was great, but it took me too long to find a parking spot on the street, 2 stars. the downside is of course it will bring out a mob of people also angry at the size of their penis stealing your game with a negative slant to begin with. and could potentially cause some people to ignore it altogether. but such is life. the only thing you can do to not give yourself an ulcer worrying about it is to continue trying to make the best product you can, while ignoring the whiners, making it into the game you want, not the game the crybabies want you to, so they can complain that you changed something they like that they asked you to change but then didn't like the change. yes yes, capable of forming coherent sentences, blah blah, then ridiculous run on sentence. the hypocrisy is real. I call mine artistic license. I call theirs too many chromosomes.

And of course there are games with an interesting plot, but let's be honest - in most games of this genre, there is a primitive and simple plot. At the same time, there is nothing wrong if you like this, but we are not interested in creating such a thing, this is enough without us.

We have a clear idea of what our game should turn out to be in the end, and we are slowly moving towards this.
We try not to imitate other games, including popular ones, although without a doubt this would increase our income.
Yes, of course, money in our world is an integral and necessary thing, but to live and create something, just for the sake of money, is a shitty goal in life. This is my opinion and I don't give a shit what others think about it.
I'd rather die as a homeless beggar than accept the idea that money is the most important thing in our world.
I think some of the "story is bad" comments comes from "ctrl smashers", skipping everything just to see the sex scenes and getting angry because they can't skip mini games and sandbox content with "ctrl", then madness: "This is the worst game in the world". And some other "story is bad" comments comes from soap opera fans, in their mind good story is vanilla soppy romance stories with wall of useless texts where every girl is throwing themselves at MC.
Also there is the behaviour of joining the herd, trying to be the best praiser for popular games and kill it with fire attitude for unknown games with different, out of ordinary content.
I can see that both NETRO (C&B) and MANTIX standing their grounds for their creation, good luck to both of you. Hope more will discover and enjoy this interesting game.

If people start skipping dialogues, there is a reason don't you think.
When there is a good story, some nice writing you don't feel the urge to skip.
I just have started that game and i will give it a chance but it feels more like a parody of a game for the moment. I still don't know if the dialogues are cheesy on purpose as some kind of humor making fun of stupid teenagers behaviors and jokes!
We will see if that game is worth the pain in the ass !!

Nobody has to like a game, what we are discussing about is being unfair, being an asshole. If you didn't like the story, if you didn't like the humour, if you didn't like the gameplay, etc, that's fine. Do you want to break your "ctrl" button, that's fine. Do you want to cry and fap for hours looking at puppy eyed girls, that's fine. But shitting on something just because it does not appeal to your fancies is not fine.
Also game not being just a VN and having mini games was a big secret and you uncovered it, we were so carefully trying to hide it, we even paid the mods to remove the tags, not one single review or post in this thread was mentioning about it! Trap works guys.

Prequel is Aurora Origin. Urban Secrets will be a continuation of the story (of course, almost everything will be changed and of course RPGMV will not be used).
There were a lot of reasons to freeze Urban Secrets. The main thing is a huge number of disadvantages of RPGMV itself. No game is abandoned, but sometimes you really want to eat, so there is catastrophically little time to create a game.
