So Avalon is 18 now, and the rape happened years ago. Tyler has saucy photo of his young daughter on his dresser. He's probably a hebephile, but he's black too isn't that a violation of the Woke Code 69?
So the rape actually only happened about a month ago. You'll learn more about Tyler in Act 4 and 5. And yes, a black villain in this climate was a bold move to be sure! But I just couldn't resist; the model for Tyler is exactly what I was going for when I had the character in mind. Big and intimidating with a deep voice.

And a side note, I like Star Wars but I was more of a fan of the story in the games. Revan and Bane were my favorites. :)

Thank you so much for the support! That's my first donation! The ultimate goal is to add more graphics cards to my setup so I can kick out renders faster and add some better animations. I really appreciate your help towards that goal! :D
If i had known i was the first (and only) one i would have been more generous. But i will aim to donate for each release, kinda like what i do on patreon with other creators.

Also the models are very pretty and you are very good at putting their personalities into their faces and demeanor. And yes i think their eyes are lovely too. If you ask me there is no reason to change anything. I mean that!

What the hell? Am i the only one donating a coffee??? That better not be true.

Amazing game, great story (a tiny bit too much male bashing now and then) really looking forward to more! :)
Oh, I meant to address the 'male bashing' thing too! I felt I was doing that as well while I wrote it. It wasn't supposed to come off that way but... it kind of did. Sorry about that! I'm going to be more careful about things like that in the future, for sure. Thanks again!

HAH! There's hope for you yet! The Sith in the Legends stories are great too. But I vaguely recall Avalon mention something bad happened to her years ago which is why she was reluctant to trust men in general.

While Avalon is in the pool with Octavia, she mentions that her mother has brought foul men around pretty much ever since Johnny died. And that's why she's had trust issues with men, she's simply been around the worst of them.

I am eagerly anticipating the next act! I hate that we have to wait a month and a half for the next one. :(
The developer is so talented!

How bout a few teasers, Dev? :D I could go for some naughty pics of Avalon!

Orrrrr perhaps another signature? I'd really like a Myrabelle signature if you have one somewhere. I looked but didn't find one.

A Myrabelle signature?? Wow! You guys are really loving her, huh? Well I think that's a great idea. Haha. I'll see what I can do! :D

As for teasers, I've been working on *Detective* Evans today. Looks like he got his promotion!

Myrabelle is adorable! I really hate it when I run into "that's it for this version" messages. Having her as the ending really eases the pain!

I like the game overall but to me it feels like playing a highlight reel more than a coherent story. The game seems to jump between important moments without much in between. Not that I'm arguing for unnecessary filler but having almost nothing to set tone, build characters and show their personalities etc. just makes the game feel like its rushing towards it next plotpoint and ultimately its conclusion.

And as a personal preference I would like a touch less banter, because when there's always banter, there's really never banter. All things in moderation :)

In a story like this, every render takes a lot of time. If I were to focus more on transitions, say, Avalon walking from the Kitchen to the living room to the front door, that's time I could be rendering more interesting pictures. It's not preferable, but it's a decision I made to keep people engaged.

I've heard 'Banter' a few times now. Can you explain in more detail?

I see your pov but I disagree about the banter. I think the banter is refreshing and the best part of the game.

When he says banter I assume he means the joking the MC does all the time.

I'm not necessarily suggesting you use more rendertime on transitions, although it would be one way to add more detail in between plotpoints. Many games simply add more exposition in the same scene, that is, add more conversation and extra detail, exposition, to existing renders. You don't have to add more renders, in order to give the player a greater sense of cohesion.

Banter simply refers to how the characters talk to each other. It's their joking, teasing way of interaction with each other that I be described as banter. And my point simply was if every single conversation (and I know I'm exaggerating here) is banter, than nothing really stands out as being banter. So if there was slightly less of it, the remaining banter would be more impactful. Sometimes less is more :)

Please don't change your style, Dev! I think the way you're going is great. OFC you won't please everyone but trying to please everyone rarely works out like you think it will!

I see what you mean. I do tend to get carried away with the jokes in the conversations. My first try at visual novels was pretty silly. I would literally do one line of speech for each render. That novel went no where fast! Haha.

I'll play with detailing out scenes a little better through thoughts or conversation. And I'll try to move the plot along at a more reasonable pace. Thanks for the suggestions!

I've played a heavy portion of the VNs on f95 and it's super rare that I find something I really like. I wish I could support you with cash, but unfortunately I'm a poor college student; I'll be happy to advertise your VN when I can, though! This VN should be getting far more attention than it appears to. I'm sure it will eventually though!

I'm sure you've already answered this before, but may I ask why you haven't made a patreon?

It's a huge commitment to make a game like Avalon. I spend over 50 hours a week working on it. I'm really just exploring this hobby right now. I don't know if it's something I want to do long term yet and I'm still not sure how people are going to respond to my stories. So you could say Avalon is just practice and it's geared more towards building a fan base. Once I have people interested in my work, and I've committed to making more games, I'll be more confident in asking for donations.

For now, I hope you'll help me spread the word about Avalon! And I love great reviews too! Thanks so much for your interest! :D

I wouldn't worry too much about how people will respond, because from what I've seen you are a very good storyteller. When your game has a bit more sexual content to satisfy the fappers, you will start getting a lot more supporters. A lot of people will just look at the tags and see that it doesn't have any sex and just pass on the game, but from the sexual tension in the last act I think it won't be long? I highly recommend you start a patreon. Do you write short stories or anything else?
