This is a Penny heavy Act for several reasons. I'm sure sad to hear you don't like her. I have so much fun working with her. She plays a big part in the physical offensive against those who caused Byron's and Avalon's trauma. She helps them put to rest their past, while Dallas and Octavia are more supportive in a present and future capacity. A big theme for Avalon is the necessity for support from friends and family when overcoming traumatic experiences.
Penny is also really friggin' cute!
First of all, thanks for answer my post. That´s really apreciated.
It´s may be just a matter of tastes. I dislike superhero/ninja style stuff, and the story of the game cames to me, in the first part at least, as some kind of "common people story". And I enjoyed it.
The first scene with Penny was great. Ok, a private eye, that compensate her small size being really competent and using the advantage that people understimate her. And overcompensate it being daredevil, overcharged and boastfull. I buy the character concept. And I like the end of the scene, when Byron pinch the bubble of her story.
But I find that, as the story progress, she becomes more daredevil, more overcharged. More armor plot. More superhero style. And that, for me, breaks the inmersion and the suspension of disbelive. I would, definetively, enjoy more a toned down version of her. More human capable instead of ninja capable. More smart that acrobatic.
Nothing wrong with it. Just not my cup of tea. You can not write for everyone tastes.
