This game was going so good, building something in a slow but playful way, with almost 0 cringe moments until it had to ruin it completely with the "unexpected interruption bullshit"
The moment with Avalon made sense and even had preparation, even the costume thing, everything was special, and had to ruin it in the most cheap way possible. Havent we learned from Game of thrones and Star wars that subverted expectations dont work?

They could have stopped there, i mean nothing happened so far and we know that she may not be ready anyway, and he feels guilty, so it was almost natural that wouldnt go too far for many reasons. There was no need to pull that bullshit.

Changed the writer all of the sudden or what the fuck? The quality went from 9.5 to 1 in one scene. Im so deeply mad and dissapointed now, that i was hooked llike an addict and stopped playing.

And i have to edit to say that in the next scece, it happens just as i said it should, they stop, cause she is not ready, in a way that totally makes sense, as it would before.

This game isn't much in the way of sexual content, but it's one of the best written visual novels I have seen on here. I'm not yet through the first path I decided to try, the Dallas, polyamorous route. If you are tired of poorly written VNs this will be a refreshing break. Just don't expect fap material.

Porn is direct, crude and without concession. You've been around and it's getting repetitive faster than you might imagine. And repetitive stuff is boring by definition.

This is explain why the old dirty bastard pervert writing this lines as more atracted by erotism now.

And erotism is the better word to define Avalon in my mind. I'm emotionally implied and breaked in lot of scene and, in the same time, laugh to break a rib. This is a rare talent Lockheart have. Quickly i can just a name Charlie Chaplin. He have this magic too. Lockheart is at this level for me.

This is why, me too, i dont care if any explicit sex scene as never showed. The emotional adventure i live with Avalon is complete by herself.

I do it short:

Lockheart is an authentic author and Avalon is a piece of real literacy. Nothing less!

I know he is in need for this and he deserve it a lot. This is the reason why i use the opportunity to respond to this message to post this short teaser of the real homage i have intention to publish on Patreon for the final chapter of the game (Story on my case).

Because Lockheart deserve it and this is have more value than money for him!

Soo i played my Octavia Mono Route and i ended with her at the same scene in my Octavia Poly Route.. so i think there is a bug ?

Edit: Okay with both Mono Routs i ended with a sex scene..

It's one of the scenes that's impossible to miss (if you're on Dallas' route), but which was still locked in the gallery (maybe the scene didn't have a label initially or was renamed?). Another locked-in-spite-of-having-been-seen scene was Play Hard.

So I wrote a little gallery unlocker (yep, pretty much pointless because of how easy it is to unlock all scenes naturally, especially with act + relationship selection. Was a fun exercise though, hadn't used seen_label for gallery unlocks before).

Anyway, if you don't feel like replaying earlier acts or using the console to fill out your gallery, here it is. Drop in \game as usual.

I'm torn - this is one of the most thoroughly enjoyable games here and I'm bummed to see it closing 'prematurely'. And while I vastly enjoy Penny as a character, she seems better suited to a supporting character - and one rather delicately handled. She's a bit on the omnipotent side, and that takes away from the unknown.

And yet...if I enjoy this so much, then I have to have faith in the developers. Their instincts are damn good so far. (I should probably say 'Lockheart' instead of 'developers', but don't want to diminish anyone's contribution). I particularly appreciate the care they give to secondary characters. Example - Randall is one of my favorites. He could SOOO easily be a mockery, but instead he's a kind, decent guy. Heck, even Lance and Merc are entertaining. Not a single character is a stereotype.

So while I'll look very much forward to next/last chapter, and sigh in big disappointment at the early conclusion, I'm excited to see what they're up to when they're in their groove.

I don't play these games to feel emotionally connected to anything, but I've been close to several women in my life who were victims of sexual abuse and this just hits home. The rage, and helplessness you feel when you want to help, but know you really can't. Please don't pull an "Acting Lessons" on us though, I might actually cry. If anyone is reading this and doesn't know what acting lessons is, it's a game, and it's amazing. Play it right after this one, but be prepared for a game that actually has a great story as well as great lewd content, kinda like this...at least so far.

So true. Penny isn't even a character. She's an omnipotent deus ex machina who immediately solves everyones problems with ease. Unlike the actual MC who is completely pathetic and incompetent.

chapter 8 supposedly but even then there is sooooo much more that could be done with this game and its story.. I mean its great they will bring some of them into the new game but Penny is not the main story here and it feels like it is far from being finished yet the dev says it is..
