The story felt made up as it went, too much time was spent on side characters and some therapy.

Avalon was really sweet and wanted to see her get better, but, Well I don't know American sports, but in the Aussie Rugby League, she was a knock on that lead to the other team getting a goal, suffice as to say fumbled like diznees handling of Star Wars.

But the story, OMG, finds dead best friend, grandpa dies, grandma kills herself, rape, father kills himself, almost shot, sweet jebus, way way way too much drama, and then to let Sharol off, and now I guess we don't see her redemption either.

And that shotting, come on, soon as I saw the gun I knew Penny would pop up and save the day, talk about telegraphing.

I will probably stick around seeing as it is ending soon, but wow, not what I had hoped for.

Penny game sounds interesting, if she is the love interest, female lead games always end up with them just being dumb sluts.

Yeah I don't know, she made me laugh, everyone but me was born in England, so I grew up on, are you being served, Allo Allo, Red Dwarf, so Penny just tickles me.

Well, not to spoil it, but I did just play to the end, and Leah seems she won't be resolved until the next update, or maybe the one after, when the game ended, it said, next update mid-December, and would end the poly and mono routes, then next Feb would be a bonus thing around Leah, then the game ends for Penny's game.

Well when the game ended, it did say we would see some of the Avalon characters and would be more humorous, and they learned their lessons, and then said about shocking lighting, and I was like, ooh really, lighting is your example of learning a lesson, not the midday soaps level drama being too much, the borderline simp MC.

As I said, I haven't played a game with a female MC, and yeah I know, I play a bunch of harem games, but just feels wrong playing a slutty female MC.

Not really man. If someone likes a game or a dev they may complain about aspects they don't like. I've done it in this thread though I did like Avalon. I've done it in games with NTR.

It depends on how it's implemented. If it's just optional then whatever. If it's mandatory or required to see other content it sucks. Also if it's hard to avoid or you get tricked into it.

I played through NTR in Babysitter for example because I had no idea my choice was leading to it. I didn't even know what it was then.

This game looks great. But this story is boring. 4 hours into the story and the only thing that has happened is a little through the clothes rubbing and I've seen a pair of boobs. Okay but that's completely subjective, it's fine if you think that way but everyone tastes and reasons why they play these games differ.

I find that constructive criticism is fine and useful but just saying that the game is bad and doesn't have enough tits and ass in it isn't really helpful. The game has already a set tone and story direction, doubtful this will change simply because someone said they're bored and it sucks.

I think criticizing the lack of sexual content in a sex game is perfectly legitimate. Especially when the dev supposedly wants to learn from their mistakes. I doubt listening to just their existing niche audience will help them expand their support.

That would be the case if the game presented itself as a sex-focused game but it's not, sex is only a part of the game, the main focus is very clearly the story and characters even if the writing is not to everyone's liking.

I doubt listening to just their existing niche audience will help them expand their support.

That is completely up to the creator. Putting in more sex scenes might give the game boost in the number of supporters, but if it will disrupt and disturb the flow of the story it might also lose the support it had to begin with.

I always felt that this game is trying to tell a story and use the sex content sparingly to give it meaning, that is why in-depth criticism is useful and necessary but just saying more boobs and fewer words aren't really helping much this game. Just because this is an adult game doesn't mean it has to be all about sex.
