"Oh, they're just fictional characters" yeah, that's why your games usually suck, because you put zero time or effort into your characters, which means no development, the story probably is all over the place because of your lack of creativity. I also agree with that last part, people on here often try to poke fun at others for caring for characters in stories and it's ludicrous, if I'm a real game developer that's exactly what I want from you, otherwise I failed.
