Oh please, it's not like any of these games follow anything resembling reality. And generally speaking fucking married women usually ends far worse for them than it does for the person they are cheating with.
More than that though, it's a damn porn game. The husband is cheating on her. So no there is no indication that fucking a married woman in a porn game will lead to a game over. In fact fucking married women is pretty common in porn.

If your idea is that an uncle fucks his niece after a week of living with her or that fucking a married woman has no consequences at all, then yeah, you might want to wait 'til the game is complete or at least progressed a little more.
I always say the same to this kind of comments: this is a game in progress, and not only that, it is a game in very early progress (v0.0.7, two 0's). If we start to rush things because of comments like yours, the final result will be bad. So it's okay, we have to accept this kind of complaints... but those of you who come here only to post "I'm not going to play this again"... It's okay, don't if you don't feel like it, but if you feel the urge to say it so badly I have to guess there's something else behind your comment.

The problem with this sudden game over isn't even the fact that it's a consequence of actions commited 2 days earlier but the fact that it's most likely long-term design choice. In DMD every action with male leads to game over just to simplified whole process. Here it feels like it's gonna be the same. Mr. Silver won't have much meaning as well as our choices (ofc I hope I'm wrong) just to make development much easier. Every such occassion creates a ton of additional dialogs just to fit these events. It will most likely stay linear and every choice out of the main branch will be removed by some event or meaningless. I sure hope I'm wrong but it feels like that. It's based on DMD and it looks like that there tho there is some small variance with females.

That's a bit of and exaggeration isn't it? I mean you get to (game over) finger-bang her, well in advance of DmD's equivalent. And the animation was pretty freaking good.

1. The stuff with Jessica is, if I am remembering right, and this one was pretty short, either a dream, or something that ends up in a game over. It's been a while since that stuff was available so again I could be misremembering there. In this one, she flirts with you, then you follow her to the bathroom if you want for her to freak out. Which is understandable.
2. No one is saying HEY fuck the girl immediately. But the progress is slow as dirt, this last update is probably the smallest update I have seen in one of these games, and that's really saying something, and the game punishes you constantly for seeking out sex. If the game actually had characterization or an interesting story so far, then hey no real harm or foul. This update though was pretty garbage.
3. I thought this game had some decent potential, maybe it still does. But the design of the game as it stands, and it continues to stand is incredibly restrictive, even in a genre known for being restrictive. Nearly every wrong choice leads to a game over. It's like a "choose your own adventure" book, but at least there, the bad endings are interesting. The choices in this game are superficial. You'd honestly be better off just having it be a kinetic novel and be done with it. You don't want her to meet Mr. Silver? Game Over. you sleep with Sonya? Game over. You flirt too hard with Jessica? Game Over. You want to see a scene with other people to at least get some sex in a sex game? What do you know? Game Over.
4. I think the designs of the characters are decent, and the first several days had some decent set up, but the longer it goes, the less interesting it gets.

Forked code is a nightmare for this kind of serialized development. It is a bug magnet. Better to finish the main path aad then add in alternative routes later.

Whats the point of getting to do sexual things if every sexual choice you make leads to a game over? That takes all the fun out of a porn game.

Yeah, I totally understand that. It's really complex, but at this point taboo is pretty succesful so he could get some help. Otherwise he won't be able to gather as many people as DMD ever due to his updates being so small and unsignificant. This linearity is also more visible with time. Branching would feel natural and amazing for this type of gameplay but it sure is a pain in the ass for a dev. Finishing main path and working on alternatives would be great only for a normal developer, not a Patreon one. Once he finish his main route he will move to another game for sure.
Some are do understandable. They give you some choice but I wouldn't play even a porn game where I could finger my niece just like that and she wouldn't mind. That's actually in my opinion pretty good choice.

Well he is demonstrating some decent erotic situational writing, renders and animations, with the possibility that those "game over's" can be better flushed out later, for say a good-guy vs. bad guy path, and it keeps the game "Patreon freindly." for now. Perhaps he starts releasing patches on F95 "wink-wink nudge-nudge say-no-more" that enable more robust content.

2. Punishes for seeking sex too early, it's a different thing. To put it simply, the same happens with Chris massage: if you go directly to her ass, you fail.
3. The way I see it, game overs come from not knowing how to control yourself. And I insist, game on progress, the idea is to grow that feeling so when things happen you feel like you worked for those to happen, but I shouldn't even be saying that.

Meanwhile, let me suggest you try "Depraved Awakening ", it's somewhere in this forum. It's only 0.3, and i lost count of all the xxx scenes already.

Mr. Dots is doing exactly that, going back and fleshing out Ch 1 for two months before going on to Chapter 2. Vren Is doing the same thing for 3 updates before moving on the Lab Rats 2. Dunno if their subscriptions have taken a hit or not, but a better, finished, game may have value outside of Patreon. Say if they sell DRM'd copies at truck-stops and XXX sites through a distributor, or other means.

Agree with all, but do you believe that Taboo is able to do the same with being just a 1 guy? Flashing out content in his case would take year at least. Sadly cuz I would love to see it

I get what you're saying and agree with most of it. But, what my gripe is(the game over with Sonya's husband), 3 days after having sex with her and you get a game over. Why bother even making sex scenes if you're practically forced to play "the good guy" in order to get through the story?

there is really good discussion going.i agree the gameovers area nooying as shit and the sex is minimal BUT remember this is 0.0.7 not even 0.1. i really hope t4bbo can move the story far and pump out a lot more content in many more updates.i also agree the braching will be minimal and the scenes will pan out the same
The "i wanna fap " crowd is not going to enjoy this game, not until way in the future. It's a slow burn, i knew it when i dl it. what is a bit infuriating are the scenes thrown in to appease that crowd ( and by the looks of it, failing ) , while slowing down the narrative so much, that the "I want a story " crowd gets restless too. I get it it's just one guy, he must make some hard choices, but...

Maybe. The code, layout and presentation is not THAT good. I have not seen any of his other work to judge if he's just new to Ren'py or just new. The renders, writing and animation are top notch though. It's a new(ish) medium, a new market (crowd sourcing via Patreon) and a bunch of new entrants. Eventually someone will get their act together, hit it big and just start to hire the almost-rans outright, under the better management. All of the top guys on Patron have flaws either with code, writing, renders, or just project management. Someone, most likely a team, will eventually hit it out of the park on all counts and become the EA of adult games.

I have a mod that does exactly this if you are interested (the Steamier Version mod). It's not updated for 0.0.7 yet, as I usually end up making a number of storyline tweaks to turn things up a notch, but I should have the 0.0.7 version ready to go in the next few days.

That's an important issue I pointed out a few weeks ago: yes, he is over $6000 dollars now, but only for 3 months. And even if that seems enough to some of you, it is not so easy to create a team out of nowhere if you still have to produce and have a job.
As I was saying, the game overs are there as a consequence of your actions and jumping to actions too early in the story. I get your point, I really do, but I think you think this way because you don't have many other options. I mean, if you knew the game is, lets say, a month long and you get to fuck your niece in the 3rd week, you wouldn't try to finger her the first chance you've got. That's the impression I have, many players are trying to do those things because they really want them to happen and because we give them the chance to in these early updates, but just as you'd do in real life, if you want to fuck some girl you don't just show her your dick in the first date (and if that works for you, please tell me how, Mandingo
