The protagonist is Sonic. It was always Sonic and unless something drastic happens it will be Sonic. Why would we need to change his name?

Yeah, the house graphics haven't changed since v0.3.2, I don't think. (Although I did crop them and fix their aspect ratios to match the other locations and fill the actual game window, so they might look different because of that if you're used to the original 4:3 aspect of the Flash game.)
Say, I've been wondering how I could help. I'm something of an amateur writer, only have a high school diploma because screw college. I do it for fun, sometimes even staying up all night typing away at my keyboard.
Coding is not my forte, as I get confused quite easily. But if there were certain switches that turn on and off events, flags and the nature of those types of things, I could potentially compose a string of sentences that encompasses the certain actions that fire off, possibly adding flavor to what our blue hero does.
I could always use help with expanding my horizons, and something of this magnitude would do just that.

One thing i would love to see in this game and any other game that use this kind of timed grinding system

You mean one where all the stats are set to at least 10 so you should be able to pass most checks right out of the gate, and you can already take her clothes off or get her nekked and give Cream a decent weinering before lunch on the first day?
Nah. That function doesn't exist yet. You have to hax your save file to flip those flags super early right now. Still can't take Cream's v-card in the pool right out of the gate - it actually checks that variable that weinering=more than once before you can get jiggy with her in the pool.
