i was pretty pleased with the improved quality of the images in the latest version but i´d preferred if the dev had stayed with the sandbox mode.
he certainly did very well compared to others who create a sandbox game but then there is little to no content and every thing feels blank and boring.

developers should tell the story they want to tell, its their game and their artist vision. i believe thats a mindset avaron1974 also has. this game has a story and a plot, its more than just "mc fucks everything".

its funny you keep saying support though, because whats more supportive? someone telling the dev to make the game the dev wants to make, or someone waving around some money and basically saying "its yours if you remove the rape"? either way, i dont think the dev is on this site, and so wont see the messages.

and before you say it, no, it isnt constructive criticism, it isnt a friendly warning said in the devs best interest, its you trying to coerce the dev in to doing what you want.




previous versions of the game were sandbox, requiring a walkthrough or aimless meandering and repeating events to progress the story/content, so the dev spent the last ~7 months changing it to a linear visual novel style. the renders were also redone as 1080, previously they were 720. the dev never stated the game was abandoned, it was just marked abandoned here because of the 3+ month silence rule.

The exact same way of working it too, "more people would support if you remove this bit of the story I don't like".

Essentially trying to blackmail the dev into changing his story to suit them. With any luck this dev has sense and sees through that bollocks.

And they proceed to donate one dollar for one month if they dev is lucky...

Any dev that panders to some loud mouths instantly looses their integrity and now the story they are trying to tell is tarnished because they are not telling their story anymore. now they are "crowd pleasing"

When you support a dev your along for the ride not to steer. no matter how uncomfortable/dark the story gets. or whatever fetishes or character types end up in there. if you don't like it feel free to voice it in a constructive way but do not expect it to change. Some people are so entitled on here it's baffling sometimes.

I was enjoying this game, but the story was ruined for me when it turned out Mom was raped. Too bad up until that point I was planning to support it. A note to the developer, that plot turn will cost more supporters besides me.

To me, it's the opposite. The game started as same 101 generic incest "story": young pervert doing chores around house, stalking baby face/super sized breasts "Mother". Then, she ..suddenly!...sees his large dick, and immediately wants to have sex with him ( Lol, great understanding of woman psychology)
Imo, story would be even better if he removed early ( night) groping scenes ( and MC, isn't as much of a duche as in most VNs..well, for the most part), actually learning of her (tragic) backstory makes you feel more protective of her.

what happened? the game went from a great sandbox, to a version for mouth breathers. I agree the old mode was way better, gave you the option to explore. my friendly suggestion is that you could have just added an easy mode and had both.all in all still a great game with great stills

I am split between the old version and new. The new version seems to get more into the action and take away the grind, which is great. But at the same time the sandbox had repeatable scenes, a lot more of an emotional build up due to the scenes repeating and there being grind between the scenes also seemed to trigger some sort of an exploration sense in me (Simply because I wasn't sure what I needed to do, how much leeway I had in the activities, etc.. Normally isn't a good thing, but seemed to work for this game).

Either way I think the new version doesn't look too bad, but the sandbox will be missed.

He is free to put what he wants to advance his story. There's a lot of other games to play for those who don't like it.

I agree, he free to write the story that he wants to write. I am free to comment on the content. He is free to listen or not. If he were to make a change in his game to make it more marketable, many of these same posters who say he should make the game he wants to make will turn around and condemn him for making the change even though that is what he decided to do. It's strange that everyone seems to rise to defend rape content (whether in the story or in a backstory.) If I had said, I'll support the game if there's more Yara content, no one would have blinked an eye. In the post above this one is a suggestion to return to the sandbox game, no one cared. I said I did not like the rape content and everyone gets their hackles up. "Get a fucking grip," everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is a discussion group, sometimes people have different opinions.

Yes, for many it is a business. They are trying to make some money. As a general rule, business try to crowd please. I said that I would have supported the game if the rape content had not shown up at the end. I put a comment in the suggestion box. You know how almost every business solicits feedback nowadays. If the developer does not want my feedback, he is free to ignore it. If a developer decides to make a change to their story based on player feedback, you have already condemned them. "Instantly looses their integrity...story is tarnished..." who is the intolerant one.

There have been games that have had similar content that I have never made any comment in their forum because I was never going to support the game. If I have no intention of supporting the game, I believe I should not comment on the nature of the content. That does not mean I don't comment on the specifics of the content like a ridiculous plot.

That's up to the developer to decide. If his main motivation for creating the game is to make some money, then I would be more supportive than you if you are just offering your verbal support.

I really admire this post, and I am truly sincere. You disagreed with my opinion and explained why. It wasn't just "developer should write what he wants to write" or "it makes you hate the bad guy so you feel good when you get revenge." A few weeks ago I was in a forum having a conversation with the writer of the VN. The conversation was about the financial implication of NTR (probably not a surprise that I am not a fan.) Over and over, some poster or another would reply to me that I should let the writer create the story he wanted to write. In this particular case the writer had taken over after the story had started. Our conversation had started when he posted that he had not wanted to write an NTR story. I was supporting the writer, but the people who were posting never read the entire posts or all the posts. I think there are just some content choices that trigger the "write your story" response. I appreciate it when someone can articulate why they approve of this content and not just disapprove of my disapproval. As for my own reasons for disliking the plot turn, I don't like it when women are made victims in these stories. They first and foremost porn games. To me it would be like remaking the movie "The Accused" into a pornographic movie. It's just not something that I would enjoy.

"developer should write what he wants to write" is absolutely a valid retort when the dev themselves is saying that. and the number of jackasses on this site that try to tell the numerous devs what should or should not be in their games, often with the threat of not supporting, is fucking tiring.

When I said "developer" I was speaking of any developer not specifically this one and went on to say that in a specific instance people were posting that specific comment when the developer specifically said he was not writing what he wanted to write. As for this developer specifically and developers generally, I just made a comment about content that I support and content that I don't; the developer is free to consider or disregard, I have no issue with either. What is tiring is posters who don't allow others to have their own opinions. What I also find tiring is when posters complain about me mentioning any type of financial support of a game, pitching a fit about it and it turns out that they don't support the game either. So I have to ask, are you a supporter of this game? If not, why not? He may have said somewhere that he does not care about the money, but on his Patreon page he said that he is trying to get to $600/month so he can quit his side jobs. It would seem to me that someone who has a primary job and more than one secondary job might have some financial concerns. He also talks about how he plans to invest in some equipment as well. So apparently he has thought about the money.
