Is the I-patch for this game like "legit" or actually fan made? Cuz I tried it and all it seemed to do is change same names and titles but the story is the same and it doesn't actually fit. Just forced in. All I want is a a cohesive story and I do not care if that content is in the game or not. I just want things to make the most sense.
My basic idea for this patch was that it would be a good fit for Valerie and MC to be mother and son who have been separated for years and then start an incestuous relationship.
I read an interesting article many years ago in which it was described that such a situation favors voluntary and consensual incest.
Of course, there are also cases where the incest people come from a stable family, but here is often abuse.
When you read about incest cases, it is often the case that siblings or parents and their children were separated for most of their lives and then met.
It is supposed to be so, that man instinctively seeks people who are very similar to himself, that is a narcissistic instinct. The greatest similarity is of course found in the relatives. But there is another instinct that prevents incest, namely the one that prevents you from reproducing in your own pack or in your own family.
If now the relatives grow up separately from each other, this group-relatedness falls away and the genetic narcissism can gain the upper hand.
That was my basic idea when I wrote the patch for BangCity.
Valerie is portrayed as an open-minded woman who, as a sex therapist, already knows many facets of human behavior and why shouldn't she succumb to her own urges, after all she already had an affair with a young porn actor.
I will continue this patch and hope that I succeed in expanding this incest scenario. But I have to see how this story develops. The dev has already hinted at a few future ideas and I see possibilities where something can be done. For example, there's Hanna and her young lover, I kind of want to rewrite them as Ann and Max from BigBrother and my mod "untold stories", and maybe Zoey's club will be rewritten as a swingers club for incest people. But first I have to find the time and see what else happens in the game.
What my patch does is that dialog lines are replaced.
So if somewhere it says "Valerie has great tits", it will be replaced by "My mother has great tits!". But if the dev changes the line later and the line then reads "Valerie has the greatest tits", then that is no longer automatically rewritten, because I have to insert these changes in the patch as well.
Besides, I can't and don't want to fundamentally change the game. So I can't add completely different or completely new lines. I have to work with the lines that are there.
After each update I look at the game, pick out a few lines that I can adjust and try to give the whole thing an incest context.
If some lines in the game by the patch do not appear incest-fairly, you can write me gladly that, then I try to rebuild it. But please make a precise indication of the place in the game.
