Dead horse? This horse is alive and kiking!! For what I have read, almost all the people liked the game! The dames are all beautiful and interesting, some redhead, some goth, some milf; all with good renders. The plot is in development, but good for an introduction.
And I dont see any bulling, just discussions of tropes in porngames.. I may be grong, but I only see people really engaged with the game.
I see people complaining about lesbians.....again.

I'am not, i love lesbians/bi just not in porn games anymore, overused and a simplistic way to have threesomes without buildup. And in this case third wheeling.
some things are clichés because they are awesome. No one is ever like oh man this summer blockbuster has too many explosions, because explosions fucking rock. So do hot ass bi chicks who want to double team you.

So how long are you guys gonna beat this dead horse anyway? The dev is going to tell their story the way they want either accept it or for love of god move the fuck on. Dev do not i repeat do not let anyone bully you into changing you're story if you don't want to.
:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

There’s not a lot to talk about at the moment, the fact that there is any passion about the game is a good thing. People are actually invested. Or would you rather we go back to all the posts complaining about the text box opacity?

Of course the devs are going to tell their story, nothing about these characters will change, doesn’t mean we can’t discuss the way they were introduced.

This has honestly become a trend for lot of recent games/vns complaining about lesbians and it goes on for page after page its becoming as bad as ntr or maybe it was always like that?

A few points:
  1. I don't think there was an insinuation but a suspicion of "some shady acts" by "some people".
  2. I don't think it was directed at you or your team. But there are sometimes overzealous people who decide something is the "BEST GAME EVER!!!". They then find sites where the game is, register, post an amazing review of a game, and then go to a new site to do the same. These are thus highly biased, lacking real analysis, and untrustworthy.
  3. On top of that, they give the false impression of wide approval by a community when, in fact, it's not that way at all. I'm not saying it couldn't get that approval over time, but for a new developer within a few days of dropping their first project? Doesn't really happen, even for great games.
I'm not saying the game doesn't deserve praise for what you've done. I'm just saying that these reviews become basically worthless. It actually probably hurts the game more than helps it. I've seen other games here that had the same shady reviews (one of which I had reviewed myself, actually). There were something like a couple dozen reviews. Then, magically, my review was the only one left. That raised eyebrows and damaged the reputation of the game, and it wasn't the developer's fault in any way. Far fewer people were willing to try it, because a single review of a game that had been around for something like 6–12 months also looks wrong, making people avoid the game.
I couldn’t care less about the reputation of the game. I’m just making something I enjoy doing.!!

We love seeing the discussion. Gives us ideas on how we can improve future character development to make the best game possible. :)

God damn that was a good first release. Loved that. Now I'm going to be constantly checking to see when the next update is. And as soon as I can spare it, I'm going to become a patron for this

So you don't want more people to play the game, then? I understand not letting others' opinions dictate your actions, but not caring about how people perceive what you've made seems counterproductive if you'd love more people playing it. I guess it depends on your goals.

This seems to go directly against your previous statement, given that people discussing gives you ideas. [shrug]

There have been some valid points made here, and I do take those into account when writing. I can't guarantee everyone will be happy with how I handle certain interactions, but I hope that they won't be viewed as entirely thoughtless. I get that not everyone likes certain things; it's why we made every romantic relationship in the game optional. But sometimes my own preferences bleed into MC's, and that's something I'll try to be aware of in the future.

There is a difference between seeing if things are landing the way you intend them to, and changing things because a subset of people are mad about it.

For example, with Leap of Faith, Drifty has said that he never intended Steph to have cheated on the MC, and realized, based on the forum feedback, that no one would believe that based on her dialogue in her initial scenes, so he changed it. That's an example of the former. People weren't reading the character the way he wanted them to.

An example of the latter would be if he had removed her from the game completely because many people still didn't like her. Another good example are the games that keep adding and removing NTR stuff because they get yelled at either way, and are just trying to make people not mad at them.

You need to have faith in your vision and accept that some people might not be interested in what you are doing, but also need to pay attention to when you aren't communicating your vision well to the player. These devs seem to be doing a good job of balancing that based on their posts here.

Promising start, quite enjoyed it. The crashes... yikes - I really hope the version change will indeed fix that. I would prefer a slight looks upgrade on the redhead uber driver. Tattoo'd roommate's body textures also perhaps too. They feel a bit lower quality than the other ones. Those are of course matters of taste too.

almost 3 month old account, first post........lmao, they're in the thread now
And they clearly can't read, either. Maybe Omza shouldn't wep so hard that they go blind. I very specifically said, "I understand not letting others' opinions dictate your actions", but I guess that didn't fit into the answer they wanted to give, so they just conveniently ignored it.

There's a difference between that and a game's reputation. You even gave examples of exactly what I was saying, Omzawep, as if you were "refuting" me. A game's reputation is exactly what you were describing . . . so why did you reply to me in the first place? Slockie doesn't care about the game's reputation, apparently . . . which means if the game is known for unreliably high "reviews", people might stay away out of sheer red flags. . . .

Whatever, I'm done. If I write clearly and people can't be bothered to read what I write, it's pointless. Keep living in your fantasy world where people's opinions have 0% effect on momentum of a game's reception. Osama, I, and others have actually been trying to help, but clearly you all see it as an attack or something. Skewed perceptions like this, reality do not make. Aside from all of this, I really do wish the developers success, and I also really do look forward to where the game goes from here.
