We initially thought we'd lost the character builds that would have allowed us to see Athena and the others without makeup, but recently discovered that we could still do so. We'll be recreating certain scenes, where appropriate, and making that change. If not in this update, then in the final version of the game. Just depends on how much time we have to get to it.

Heh. Agreed. It was originally going to be first person only but we found out real quick you're extremely limited when it comes to a lot of scenes. First person kissing is just really awkward imo lol, so we're happy we switched.

Slockie or Storm ⛈ quick question, does learning to dance with Heidi help with other girls? or is that specifically a Heidi route option? hope this hasn't been answered already, I read up to page 6 in the comments, mostly it was about text opacity

edit: last question for you two, will there be a solo route for both the roommates? I'm not particularly interested in being a third. Again I apologize if it has been answered, there's 31 pages on here. So far I think I'm going to have to make a save for each girl and solo each route, I like them all, except for Valeria and Zenda, Valeria offers to fuck you in the first 5 mins of meeting you, and Zenda seems pretentious. Nothing wrong with that and I know you wrote their characters a specific way so I'm not faulting you for that, I've got plenty of other options, and some might find Zenda's confidence a turn on, and it is a porn game so an easy win with Valeria for those looking for sex... there are still plenty of options for me to choose from.

And while I'm here, I may as well give my thoughts. I love the game so far. My favorite part of the game is the natural, realistic dialogue between characters, it gives everything a cohesive, fluid feeling that makes it easy to engage and become interested in each character and want to know more and build a relationship with each (hence the multiple saves). The renders are great and giving just enough here and there of the character's backstory definitely keeps me intrigued and wanting to know more about everything that has happened and will happen.

While I won't ever dream of complaining that my hopefully soon-to-be girlfriend is fine with both of us banging Heidi, the idea of getting only one of them seems to be contemplated:

Hard disagree on Valeria being a shallow character. I realize (but don't actually get) that people get hung up on sex positivity – often throwing around slurs like there's no tomorrow – but there's way more to her than sex. To quote myself:

Hordragg I appreciate the quotes, I should have read a little further, all of that answers my questions. and you are absolutely right about Valeria so I retract my statement, I tried to keep my opinions as neutral as I could; just because it's not my thing doesn't mean it isn't someone elses. I may be a little biased on sexually positive women due to my own personal experiences, but there is no wrong choice when it comes to this or any other game, so I appreciate that sort of wake-up call = )

edit: I also want to say that I have nothing against lesbian sex, I may even play that route once for fun lol but I'm selfish and don't like to share my women

Hordragg pretty much answered the question, but yes, there are solo paths for every love interest in the game. (Note I say "love interest" and not "girl." Not all of the women in the game are actual love interests. Some girls are cameos from other games, some are there because the story takes you in a particular direction, and at least one is solely interested in sex.)

Your thoughts on Zenda and Valeria are absolutely valid, so while a lot of folks might not agree with you, don't feel like you have to justify your opinions on them. Every one of the girls in Bare Witness is flawed to some degree. They all have history, and some of them have handled their pasts better than others. But I do recommend you give at least the girls you aren't a fan of a play-through. There's depth to them, even if you can't see it just yet.

I feel like a lot of players can't quite grasp this concept. Just because there's a female character in the game doesn't mean they're a love interest, or even that the MC will get to fuck her.

Very nice game...
