Your mod is fantastic by the way, that was my only gripe as in other games when it asks for a save game name I can just right click to cancel the naming and it will save it without the name. In your mod it would just cancel the whole thing with no save being made, which threw me off. lol. Seriously though, fantastic job with the mod, seeing the points and when your on/off a path is extremely helpful. Kinda wish we could just add/subtract points but I get that wasn't in the scope of this mod and its all good.

Yeah, it's the story keeping me here. Lost a bit of enthusiasm for the girls when it turns out it's a typical "catch'em'all" and people are all okay with sharing already.
Yeah, the main reason I play games is story. If I get invested in the plot and characters I can forgive a lot. With this game one of the issues I've had is how quickly the MC and his chosen LI(s) pledge their undying love to each other. I know that some weeks have gone by in the game but the MC too easily trusts these women when he is in WitSec (supposedly). I like Mora a lot but when I saw the HAM situation I thought maybe that was the dev teams "canon" path. Perhaps I'm wrong but I feel like Athena and Heidi have been constantly thrust at the player as the "go to" love interests with Mora as the second most and Sadie as the third. Zenda and Val disappear if you reject them once or twice while HA, M, and S are there at every turn.
Just my perceptions obviously.

Everything did come down rather quickly with love. I was surprised, honestly. Additionally, the Mora part into Heidi and Athena didn't make much sense, considering what she was going through.
They could have done time lapse or something...like, real people don't fall in love that quickly...especially these days. I dunno...
I know that there is a small amount of time lapse mentioned, after all Sadie got skinny and that takes time. I believe a few weeks go by but not a significant amount of time especially considering the MC's background, Mora's issues, Heidi's stalker issue last year, and her relationship with Athena (even if it is just friends with benefits). It just feels rushed. I can understand one character rapidly falling in love but if you play all the paths the characters are pledging their love by the end of the third update (IIRC). As there isn't (as I recall) any in game date mentioned there's no "Oh it's been 4 months since the beginning" to help us understand how much time has passed.
In addition, all the drama I mentioned except for the MC's, which is the main story, is either quickly addressed (Mora's gaming group/boyfriend) or never mentioned again (Heidi's stalker). Sadie has the best arc, going from overweight and acne riddled to a hottie. Though she doesn't have any set backs at all. And, speaking of Sadie, we agree (or not) to having movie night at her place every Sunday and then it isn't mentioned again. Not even an "on the way back from your weekly movie night at Sadie's you decide to stop and..."
Of course this is all my opinion, not trying to rag on the guys here. I like the game, if I didn't I wouldn't care and would be asking for more Mora nude time and less plot. I know, I am weird because I want more words and less pictures.

well, I'll agree with you on most things here, but not more words...ugh, fuck...no. LOL
Mora is probably my favorite because I have a thing for gingers...but gawt dammm....the hamsammich....with Heidi, Athena, and Mora....mmmm...gooood! Now, I'm several glasses of bourbon in right now, so this might not make a whole lot of sense. But, despite some things I think could have been done better, I still left this update feeling very....very...satisfied.

I definitely get the feeling the Heidi/Athena/Mora are the cannon story here, they are just too much a fixture in MC's life.

It is absolutely my main path, so far I've gotten time with Athena, Heidi, Mora, and Sadie and a little Val...
I'm okay with leaving Nicole out as I barely know her at all, though I am very very sad I've got no chance with Zenda after blowing off the one date we had set as she seemed sweet, but can't disappoint HAM...
Though about things happening too fast, there is a 7 week time skip fairly early on (which allows for MC's change and Sadie's big glowup) MC mentions its been 2 months since he's been at school now once he's shown with the new haircut
2 months? Still quick to declare his undying love considering he's in witsec and was probably cautioned against forming attachments. The US Marshalls won't shy away from moving him again if they think he's in danger. But seeing as we've not seen a Marshall so far (besides Val, Todd, and/or Nicole if my paranoid theory is correct [which it probably isn't]) I doubt the game will suddenly have the MC hare off to another setting (though that wouldn't be a bad idea for a series of games - MC forms relationships then has to leave because he's being hunted by the mob so he breaks hearts wherever he goes).
As to the LI obviously I love Mora - she's a pathfinder playing hot virginal redhead... But despite my initial dislike of Val and her strong come on I've actually grown to like her too. If Athena was completely separate from Heidi I might be interested but they are a package deal and so I only played that route to see what plot information I was missing (not much).

it is possible to be with Athena without getting into Heidi's path, ive done that multiple times now.
So, I'm getting the impression that many of the folks in this thread have a different idea as to what WITSEC entails than the reality might be. While the Marshals Service does take the security of witnesses under their protection seriously, once a witness has relocated and settled in to their new life they only need to make contact with the Marshals once a year. Hell, witnesses are allowed to leave WITSEC at any time without repercussions. (Well, without repercussions from the government.)
And while it's uncommon for the Marshals to inform someone that an individual is in witness protection, it does happen. In fact, it's mandated by law for them to inform local law enforcement if a witness has a criminal history. Informing, for instance, the dean of the college that MC is in witness protection is absolutely feasible. Granted, the dean will have had a full background check prior to this, but if it helps the witness blend in better to his new location, it happens.
If MC tells the Marshals that he no longer wishes to be in witness protection, they'll let him out of it. He can do whatever he likes from that point. He can go where he wants, spend time with whoever he wishes, and make contact with the people in his old life completely unfettered from the Service's rules. As an aside, his legal name would remain whatever you've named him rather than reverting to Shelby, because the name changes happen just like they normally do, through the courts (under seal).
Not to say that our portrayal of a person in witness protection is absolutely accurate, mind you. We just did our best to look into it before writing the game, and we've tried not to fall afoul of any obvious inaccuracies. However, this is a porn game, and we may have to stretch a bit to fit the story sometimes. It's more important to me to tell an engaging story than to pay perfect homage to reality.
Oh yeah, no. I am not trying to pull out a rulebook and recite shit here. Just with the ending of the last update if the MC is in actual danger or potential danger I don't see the Marshals just wandering off and leaving him. There are varying levels of protection as I understand it, if the MC was a vital witness I'd expect more vigorous protection now. Obviously plot trumps reality even when not a porn game, just speculating as to what will happen now (could have a new LI in the form of a marshal, not that you're going to do that). Still think it would be fun to have a wandering "casanova" type of game, take inspiration from whatever you want - Jack Reacher, the Kung Fu tv show - and turn it into a porn game. Wanderer comes into town, tries to settle for awhile, enjoys some time with some LI, and then has to leave again...
Anyway, your game so you get to do whatever the hell you want. If that includes having an alien abduction ala Life of Brian then I'm along for the ride.

If memory serves, he isn't an important witness, his dad was.
He was under the desk and didn't see anything nor know who the guys were. At most he's a loose end they tie up because they don't like to leave shit like that to chance but in terms of being an actual danger to them in court, not so much.

You're not a fan of Heidi? But she's adorable!
I honestly like it better if Athena/Heidi are a package deal. Heidi is obviously the more amorous one in the relationship, free with her love to the right person but in need of protection from a lover (Athena and Shelby) as she attracts the wrong type of attention with her carefree attitude. A cute little thing full of her feelings and expresses them through her dance. A great character imo. Athena is the hard shelled girl with that soft, shy center you only get to see if she really likes you. Both have their past issues that you find out as you get to know em. (stalkers/cancer ect.) and its obvious there is a lot of bonding between the three we don't see onscreen because MONTAGE! I just think as a couple they compliment each other perfectly, the MC coming into it compliments A&H as someone who can be strong for both for different reasons and its obvious they don't do casual sex but also arnt exactly jealous. I am not quite to the point where Mora joins but I'm definitely on the right path and interested to see how she adds to it.
I honestly LOVE your idea that Val could of been Shelby's Marshall. Especially with her knowing his real name real fast. (Isnt that suppose to be protected info?) Would add so much depth to her character.
