From that perspective it's obvious to me she needs to be the victim because she's the only real link between MC and his family, the only one who take family relationships in a caring way, as families are supposed to be. The good/well writing question should be if taking her out of scene this way feels realistic enough, or if the incident is well or bad scripted.

There are other ways to get to exactly the same end point as having the beloved sister of MC get shot whatever those end points may be, the emotions that you evoke with that are both easy and incredible predictable. That makes it a cheap plotpoint instead of a deep one, especially since it will have little impact on the one being shot, since she has been closed off as being able to be developed deeper by dev by his own choice.

damn.. i honestly waited for julia's X content, selina and karen story line is interesting i want to see more of it

Yup it would be an incredible turnaround if dev would decide to add it anyway after all his remarks in past, even if it is more or less the only way having Julia get shot makes sense beyond just going for the cheap feels/drama.

He could easily add it in if he wanted to based on the interest they already shown in each other in past especially when the relation with Jane was starting, but he made it clear enough he did not want to.

Since you know better than the Devs, not only here but in almost every thread you participate in, why don't you develop your own game, with your own marketing, etc?
I'd like to see it.

The point is that the only person who cares in a loving way for both father and MC must suffer a tragic event in order to them take their final stance about the whole plot. Sending her away on a temporary business trip wouldn't achieve this. Again, it's not just making her disappear from game to stop the incest whinning, is giving the main plot a strong push forward

Since when do you need to be a dev to have read thousands of books, have reading comprehension and some knowledge of building and setting up a story, how relations work and posess other skills that you have used in your working career for over 30 years? That is the same as the movie producer that was blaming the fans that they did not get the movie cause they had not directed movies, instead of blaming himself for not communicating correctly in his movie.

But feel free to put me on ignore and you will not be forced to read my posts anymore anyway if they annoy you so much. :p

i still dont see that part mc could still screw the father back since he was in his face from the start. and then he was suddenly sick.. normally relationships are well beyond repair from this point and no sickness or dramatic events will suddenly make them all get along like nothing happend.
