i still dont see that part mc could still screw the father back since he was in his face from the start. and then he was suddenly sick.. normally relationships are well beyond repair from this point and no sickness or dramatic events will suddenly make them all get along like nothing happend.

Before this event, I would have bet that the main choice remaining for MC would be to go on with his rock band (with more or less success depending on his choices regarding Lisa), or to quit (for Jane's or Selina's route) while things between him and his father were slowly being repaired either because the band make it big or because MC returns to family business (willingly or not). Bridges were being built but now they're almost burned up. As I see it, now the father (and the older brother) will hate MC forever and MC will feel responsible of her sister's fate, thus leading him to choose between his dream career or taking up her sister's business, all while trying to placate his father or just go to war against him. This situation fuels up a plot line that was apparently almost solved, adding some drama and interest for the final chapters.

That said, let's make clear that I don't especially like the way this event was written.

Well, my MC is kind of a fuckboi so I 'd guess there is plenty of drama in his future.



Unexpected harm/death of liked characters doesn't automatically equal good writing. I know a whole generation was taught that by recent popular fiction like GoT but I wouldn't call that the pinnacle of storytelling. Shock value is just the easy way.

I still think this game is way above average in terms of writing, especially for porn game standards. But this recent sequence wasn't its brightest moment. The final moment was telegraphed and there were plenty of chances to avoid it if characters acted with common sense and/or in-character. The railroading leaves a sour taste.

You can kill the entire cast of incest game nº1.200.458 and nobody will complain because the plot/story is non existant.
If players react to something bad happening to one of your characters is because they care, they care about your fictional character life.

To further my point, Acting Lessons killed a main character and that caused a strong reaction, here a secondary character has been harmed and some people feel bad about it. You care because they're good characters and the story isn't bad either.

As for characters acting out of character, I don't know about which ones are you talking about, the MC and Jacob are no strangers to street brawls, they fought some assholes in the Naked Park concert. The guys from the other band have been asking for it since the beginning.

It implies that only someone that does something can have an opinion about it and I am not making games since I do know my limitations and interests. Now I do know nothing about technical side of rendering so you will not see me make any remarks about how good or how shitty renders are technically, but can give an opinion if renders or animations work for me in a game. Same that I can know I have run into a bug without being a coder myself.

I do have some skills in reading comprehension though and read loads of both good and bad stories over time giving me an appreciation for what is and what is not good and if a story and how chars react within it make sense within context of a story, learned a bit of what are do's and dont's in certain genres and how people react to them, had some education in what is literature and what are cheap gimmicks and lived through shit so do have a clue how relations work and how they do not work if want to be realistic.

You say that the Devs should easily do this or that but those are just opinions based on what you consider to be right, wrong or cheap. But they are not facts as you present them. They are just your way of looking at things. And others certainly have completely different ideas about it.

If you said "in my opinion" it might not sound so pretentious.

In the end, you just use your so-called skills to bash the Devs.

Well thats one way of shutting up the people who kept begging for content with that character... that said the next update will be a make it or break it for me, to see if I pull support from this game or not...

The game takes 2-4 months to update, the crew finally caught a break, and then this shit happened... Whether there is life or death doesnt matter much to me, its the fact that the card got "lost" and the gang wont get to start working towards their goal anyways that bothers me.

If someone does find the card, and just puts the career on hold to deal with the family emergency, that I would be ok... thats why next update is crucial on which direction is going to go... The world is a shithole as is... I dont need drama in my escapism..

I rarely bash devs, unless there is a reason for it. Same i did not say this dev made a bad story, did not say that the sex MC has is unreasonable considering the setup. I did say though that in my opinion this was cheap drama just for the feels and that this game already has loads of drama and there was no need for this cheap overused trick. Now I did say in the past that dev in my opinion was himself guilty about all the incest discussion about Julia, you do not sexualise a sister in an adult game plus have MC and sister show sexual interest in eachother as with that peek scene and not expect those questions. That is just naive at best.

Now a better reader might even infer from that that I think this dev can do better and has done better in past so this is a disappointment to me that he took the cheap shot. You are allowed to think different.

Eh, agree to disagree. It's more unlikely that there will be Incest in the game, consider we already have more than a whore a plenty with the ladies here.

Personally I think/hope that Julia survives this with comfort of our band being their to support and our love interest(s). Considering that Minxy Red will be working at the hospital, she will probably give us comfort in more ways than one.

Agree that the update did kind feel short, though Nicole was napalm. Wooof.

I love Julia as a character. I have no desire to sex her up (even though she's gorgeous) because she's just an amazing sister and I love to see that sibling bond without it necessarily having to become sexual.


I really really hope that she survives because I think the story will be lessened without her.

as far as I remember, expressing constructive criticism is not against, forum rules. but who made you prosecutor and judge of what people can or canne say?
Mr Jet could have been great, the premise of the game was amazing, the conflict with the father and proving him wrong, forming a band and deepening bonds, heck even the sex scenes were good. But with each update it was becoming less intriguing and more generic with a poor rotation for content. with the latest cheap ass cliffhanger that has been done a billion times, the game has become as generic as the asset for Lisa's hair...
