Thank you for your interest, but to be frank: I've blown pretty much every deadline I've set up for myself since... well, forever, thus I'm feeling bad making anymore promises. So please just wait, or better yet: Forget that I'm making the mod for now, and then be super-happy once it comes out! ;)

First, the above is a great reply. IMO, when you mod for fun, setting deadlines makes it turn into an obligation. This takes the fun out of it at least for me, and then I end up resenting it.

Second, if you start a thread for the mod we can create a poll at the top of the thread. Then after you get the results of a poll we can remove it and make another later. If you want to create the thread and then PM me what you want the poll to be?

Not trying to sound as if I am blaming anyone, but it would be typical that the couple weeks I get really busy with work and stop checking in on the CrispyKing mod, he would have already started and completed a poll lol. I mean, if he's willing to include an additional thing I'd be willing to message him with my responses but if he's done I don't want to give him more unneeded notifications.

Alright, I'll include my list responses in below then, in case anyone cares for them, but I want to attach them to my other thoughts. I think in addition and if you guys are up for it, it would be interesting and add more substantial gameplay (though I appreciate that it would make things take longer to implement) to include the strategy elements of the original Dune 1 game this is parodying, like maybe have an opportunity to rescue the concubine that gets captured, and/or random strikes on sietches by the Harkonnens, attacks on Harkonnen bases and maybe some liberation of prisoners, perhaps with you being able to use the harkonnen captain ghola as a way to infiltrate and/or prevent it (with ample rewards for your servant of course). Plus, honestly, I think part of the issue why the fremen troupe commanders are so little requested is because they are so surface level. I don't indicate them as a main interest below, but if they had some kind of questline or more significant development that could easily change. Could even do some crossover with VH by including elements of Dune 2/2000 and have a House Ordos related bounty hunter sort of minigame on the side, I mean in the story you're establishing a stranglehold on the spice anyways, why not use a bit of it to travel around systems and lead a galaxy wide insurrection as well? Once again I appreciate some of these drastically increases the scope and work needed but if we're dreaming, stuff like this would be nice.
