Didn't say it was "for no reason," I asked why. All this for something implied by your own logic of how relationships work, and not at all distressing to the MC, given most he applies is claiming "that's what they're calling it these days?"for no reason.
This. This is why I am asking "why?" Giving the benefit of the doubt is not complaining that "they're not calling it what it is," it's saying "I'll take your word on it until further notice."Since the dev insists they won't fuck, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
2 episodesWhat I don't get is why did he fill his game with moments like that, if he didn't want us to believe that the characters have a sex life.
4 females (counting window girl and Stephanie)
2 situations, one of which is noticeably uncomfortable with her situation, the other not so much.
"filled with moments like that." You were raising a stink on both of them until it was explained that Elizabeth's last scene was clearly a dream (bookended by MC going to sleep and then waking up, and very noticeably with Elizabeth interacting with the "mystery POV character" as if she were familiar and not uncomfortable with their presence until ordered around). You're literally harping on a single interaction near the end of the latest chapter.
The idea that there is a singular line between "good girl" and "slut" and lying about intent to "go out" crosses that, is so... ICK. Are you kidding me?You don't know what's going on, but you have to believe that someone who lied to you just the day before, and chose to date a douchebag, is a "good girl", just because...
At the point in time where the very basis of the game is incest (or something like it), I think you should lower your high-horse standards. "Why would I, as a player, want to invest any romantic interest in a character that makes poor life choices?" Probably because, at a very basic level, you realize that your character is a poor life choice as a romantic interest, and literally anything that helps your character's case is a plus? I mean, you can play him as rude or polite as you want, at the end of the day he's coming to terms with whether or not he's now interested in his roommates sexually, and he himself considers it "wrong" in-the-moment. If he can't pull that trigger himself, how do you expect the other side of the equation, someone with a level head and reasonably good decision-making skills, to ever entertain the idea of being with him, or you by proxy? Then why whould I care for a woman who is willingly in a relationship with a guy like that and if I get to have her afterwards I should feel happy about it?
You want realistic? Smart people can make dumb decisions, there, I said it. For more, dumb people are equally capable of having smart ideas. Douches are capable of turning that shit on and off (by which I mean their innate douchiness), else they'd never memetically get anywhere. Once more; case in point, up until a certain point in actual conversation, Greg was almost decent... until he opened his mouth for the third time, openly less-than-happy about the situation.
Would you care? You're not being asked to. Hell, once more with the mostest of feeling, MC still does not, as of yet. Presumably you'll figure it out around the same time he does.
