I think 99% of the playtesting will likely be done while waiting for the animations to render. Those activities don't need to be time exclusive. So adding the playtesting time to after the animation render estimate is not likely accurate.

By the way, as we have to choose one of the girl at the end and break with the others, will the third season develop every path distinctly with friend zoned girls on every path ? I mean it will be difficult to play with a Harem mode now, right ?

That's huge mate,Realistically, why that would be a cause of panic, if he´s not into Maya´s path? Realistically, I don´t get why he still has some kind of relationship with Maya if he´s into other Li path, since Maya cheated on him. I know that Maya has a sexy 3D model, but it´s her only good trait. If he´s not trying to sleep with her, I don´t get why they both are still hanging around together. She´s needy and selfish, not the kind of person that an intelligent guy would choose as a close friend.
The same way I don´t get why Sage cares about Maya´s tuition so much when there are way closer friends of her that are selling drugs and prostituting themselves for paying the tuition. Is she blind? If she doesn´t know about the money problems of girls that she lives with and knows for years, like Quinn, Riona, Sarah and Mel, is because she´s a selfish party girl that only cares about herself. There is not other realistic explanation. That´s what she is barely two months before, at the beginning of the school year, when she only cared about finding who "Chad's bitch" was, and for that purpose manipulated the MC, the only guy that helped her when Chat was being an asshole with her in public, and put him into a potentially dangerous situation with the alphas, without a remorse. But suddenly, she becomes Mother Theresa and the most important thing for her is helping a girl that she knows for just a few days... Does it have any sense? Or it´s just really bad writing and character development?
I love this game and some of the characters, and I think DPC has raw talent and imagination... but he knows shit about creative writing. He´s an amateur in that and make big beginner mistakes, like creating characters with mostly negative traits and pretend that the MC and therefore the player should care about them and feel sympathy for some reason. But I suppose that he could work writing for "Rings of Power" or any modern Disney's movie or TV show
Sage was indeed selfish and did not care about others, but I think she is seeing Maya as her redemption for having messed with the other girls. Like "it is too late for the HOTs, but I can save this one...", here it is me who try to bring a bit of logic
, because to be fair you had a pointby the way, I would agree with most of you other points, I don't like neither Sage or Maya (only helping her because of Derek and Josy), but sometimes I feel bad for them in the game; so even if the author is bad with his character developments, his story, I mean,that's is kind of immersive

i absolutely love this game. since i was never a part of a frat when i went to college, this kind of game appeals alot to me. even if some of the story is pretty unrealistic i still enjoy it. my fav girl is Jade. i play Van Halen's Hot for Teacher every time her scenes come up. what a babe. and even better is that she is Tibalts mommy hahaha. love that MC can lord that over Tibbie potentially. that guy is a major scumbag and loved how Jill finally told him off at the end of ep 8.

from that point on she tries to pick up on everything she had neglected (and I would say that as president of the Hots aside from taking a look at Quinn's rigged budgets she has neglected almost everything)

I mean, I don't have the story of the game, I am quite brand new into this kind of games
But I kind of figued out when playing that the characters went from figurative to active players, changing the way they were behaving, mainly the HOTS.
Personnally I like Sarah, Bella and Zoey. I think that if it is possible I will go for Zoey "free spirit" romance, so I will stick to my "other" choice
I played it non stop from the beginning, everything did not stick in my memory, I think I will replay just for fun and to pay attention to back stories a bit more. I will replay and come back with more solid knowledges

He tried to course correct in the Interlude with having MC show different amounts of distress depending on how many oopsies he made in the save you use. But too little to late for me.

Yea, I like how Jill mentioned the dick pic at the end. I'm talking about the library scene when Jill says we're still dating while on the Maya/Josy path which triggers a small dialogue between Maya and Josy about how they feel kind of hurt that MC is still fucking around with other girls. That was awkward lol.
The ending for ep 8 was just a "catch-all" cliffhanger ending meant to make you feel suspense. We actually don't know why he's freaking out like that. You could do any combination of any path and still end up with that scene. It won't change.
I'm pretty sure Maya actually tells the MC at one point. It's before Josy gets to B&R and MC helps Maya with the list. Even then, it's supposed to be a secret and it's Maya's secret. So it wouldn't make sense for Derek to tell him anything, not his business to tell. Derek even says at one point how MC is a good friend but he'd still ultimately choose his sister over him if it came down to it.
What I'm saying is MC already knew about Maya dating a girl. He just didn't know 1. That girl was Josy 2. Josy was still lying about having a boyfriend. (Maya also did say she had a "boyfriend" at an earlier point but that was before she got closer to MC) and 3. Josy's "boyfriend" was actually Maya. I don't think it would've prevented anything if Derek said anything. Derek didn't even know that Tommy was Josy's step-brother so I have no idea how he could've just brought up the exact details of Maya's girlfriend without it sounding hamfisted for MC to make the connection.
Though ... I think Tommy knew about Maya. I think in Ep 2 or 3 when they're having a party in the basement (when you do body shots off of Sarah and Mel) right before then Tommy seems like he's about tell Rusty about Maya like he's familiar with her in relation to Josy but Derek cuts him off.
That could either mean 1. Tommy was just going to say, "Yea, she's this really hot blonde" and Derek got uncomfortable so he brought up that she was his sister or 2. Tommy knew Josy and Maya were going out and was about to say something like, "Yea, she's my stupid step-sister's girlfriend". Derek probably cut him off for the same reason though, he just got uncomfortable about his sister being mentioned at all. Since, I think at that point Derek still didn't know Tommy was Josy's step-brother and wouldn't even imagine Tommy knowing about that relationship. Could be remembering wrong. I'm replaying the game while waiting but only got up to ep 1 because I haven't had time the past few days. Probably reading into it too much but that party scene was also the foreshadowing for Sage being a Burke. So who knows?

Possibly. I think the "two weeks for playtesting" usually refers to when he sends it to his beta testers for bugs and proofreading. I don't really see him sending it to anyone for playtesting in an incomplete state.
Then again, I think he has usually saved his own playtesting for after he's done with everything as well so you may be right.
