I disagree that season 1 revolved around them because of plot convenience. For me they are the main girls because a big part of season 1 was building a proper relationship with them. The main girl/s of porn games for me are ones that we are building a relationship up with that ends in possible marriage and kids. With Acting Lessons I only consider Megan the main girl if we choose Melissa as a friend but I consider both as the main girls if I am building a relationship with both of them.
ALOT of the scenes we got in Season 1 with Maya & Josy were unavoidable and needed for the plot to progress:

Josy being MC's hometown crush and very first girl who we're introduced to who we later find out is Maya's girlfriend

MC staying with Maya at her dorm room when in need of a place to stay leading to unavoidable interactions and scenes with her

MC getting romantically involved with Maya and both catching feelings for each other regardless of what ever options the player chooses.

MC going on a date to Josy's place in which DPC sets up to progress their story line meaning we don't get to choose to weather or not we'd want that.

Josy getting a late acceptance to set up episode 3's ending and everything that followed.

We got very little content for Jill and Bella in S1. Sage however did get a decent amount of content and is the first main girl we've gotten a full and uninterrupted sex scene with but still not as much screen time as Maya & Josy. I'd argue Quinn got more screen time than Jill in Season 1.

Every Main & Side girl are apart of the main plot as they're all connected to one another some more than others and all are well acquainted and or involved with MC in some way.

If season 2 gives us the choice of building up a proper relationship with Jill, Bella or Sage
It will

That is why I'd argue that they are the main girls AT THE MOMENT. Forced or not they are the girls we are actively pursuing for season 1. The other girls in season 1 we are either fucking, trying to fuck or just starting something but for the first 3 episodes the main goal of the MC is still to have a proper relationship with Josy and or Maya. I wouldn't even call Maya one of the main girls if we were friends only and weren't pursuing something more.

If the main goal was a harem then I would consider Jill, Bella and Sage main girls as well but when the main plot especially when forced is to have a big proper relationship with one or two girls or having to choose between them while having smaller side girlfriends or fuck buddies then I consider those one or 2 girls the main girls of the game and everyone else a major character or side character depending on how close of a relationship the MC has with them.

If season 2 forced us to only be friends with Josy and Maya and not pursue anything more then I wouldn't consider them the main girls anymore.

We clearly have different definitions of this and I don't think that will change so it's probably better to agree to disagree and move on.

I'm a PokeGirl trainer. Gotta Fuck 'Em All.
Me too but when a game has a great storyline and characters I like to have a main playthrough where I pick the girl I like the most and only be with her. I do several playthroughs later on skipping everything I have already seen and picking different girls or fucking them all but I do like to stick to just one girl on my main playthrough when I care about the story and I'm not just playing it for the sex scenes.

Did you forgot Cattherine ? so far we only have "dream" relationship..so you can add her also.

I highly disagree with that. These are the two main girls of the game.
2 out of 6 of the main girls and them being main girls is irrelevant to what's happened in the story.

If them getting together was optional then I would say individual routes is a given but as it's inevitable it is highly unlikely that they will have individual routes, I will say it's not impossible, it could already be planed but if not , it's not worth the time.

3 major branching paths for what you want, for everyone else you either date them or you don't. As I said unless this is already planned you can't tell me how them splitting up can reasonably be added.

Yes. I also complained about that when the episode was released. I felt the author took the story out of my hands at the start to separate the protagonist from Maya and Josy. The way he reacted should have reflected your current major affinity: Chick/Neutral/Dik.
Then it wouldn't look so out of character to some people. At least he (dev) seemed to fix this at the episode's ending.

Maybe in the future the protagonist will have another chance with Maya only but until this happen so far i am enjoying the perks of being single at the end of season 1: FWB with Sage and a affair with Jade.
I thought it was a bit weird how he reacted regardless of affinity but I think it makes more sense to view the protagonist at the start as the same person regardless of affinity and that he is changed over time based on who he associates with.

Jill and Rusty - good

Derek - Neutral

Quinn and Tommy - Evil

As examples. The plot will make a lot more sense if you look at it that way because regardless of your affinity the MC will need to do many of the same things right up until the very end of the game for the story to actually be viable.

I actually like the way he behaved towards Maya but not really with Josy. It was shitty that Josy lied about dating a woman when that relationship was supposed to be over and her and the MC was going to start something but apart from that I don't think she did anything really wrong. She was honest about seeing someone and it is understandable that she didn't mention that they went to the college as the MC would probably be trying to find out who it was and she was trying to protect Maya.

Maya deserved what she got IMO. She lied from the beginning saying she was single and even when she knew how the MC felt she still continued to lie and lead him on. When she knew how he felt she should have at least been half honest and told him she had a boyfriend if she didn't want to tell him she was a lesbian.

It doesn't matter what affinity he has or how big of a dick he is deep down he is a caring guy and he got hurt. I would act the same way with Maya which is another reason I hate that they are together because I don't want Maya at all.
