Is this timeline consistent with the maggot cycles?

0 : Rusty and Tommy founded the DIKs.

0 : Nick and Vinny were the first maggots in the same year.
(Nick : "Vinny and I were the first maggots to join the DIKs the year Rusty and Tommy started it.")

1 : Jamie and Leon are Maggot brothers.

2 : Jacob and John Boy were maggot brothers last year.
(Jacob : "Yeah, last year. Me and John Boy were maggot brothers.")

3 : Derek and mc are maggot brothers this year.

The CUM-petition is ... annual.
(Tommy : "It's time for the annual ... CUM-petition!")

If the maggots are accepted only once a year, the DIKs were founded 3 years ago.
Assuming that maggots are only ever accepted in twos. It just so happens that only 2 (the MC and Derek) became maggots this year, but I don't remember it being explicitly stated that they don't accept more than that per year.

Nick and Vinny were the first to join, but do we know for sure that Jamie and Leon joined the following year? They didn't join the same year as Nick and Vinny? And if they did join the following year, how do we know that wasn't the same year as Jacob and John Boy? To the best of my recollection, we don't know when Jamie and Leon joined.

Furthermore, when Maya shows the MC around campus, she mentions that the DIKs have only been around for "a couple of years" and "couple" means 2. In ep 4 Sage tells the MC (if you stay with her) she'll be be graduating soon and we know from the ep 5 flashback that she was the HOT president when she met Rusty, which is not a position that a freshman would get, so she must've been at least a 2nd year back then. We also know that Jill is a 3rd year which would make her a 1st year when she met Rusty.

The cum-petition can also still be an annual event even if this is only the 2nd time it's been repeated. We don't know how far Rusty, Tommy, Vinny, and Nick got in setting up the DIKs that first year, but let's say that they got the house "decorated", became an official frat, and set up their pledge board, then they could have accepted pledgers that first year and put them through the cum-petition. This might have been Jamie and Leon or some other characters who didn't make it as DIKs. Then the following year, Jacob and John-Boy went throught it and possibly Jamie and Leon as well, thus when the MC and Derek tke part, it has become an annual event because this is the 3rd year they've done it.

I saw both their scenes, I think Josy's was better. She seemed to still have feelings for the MC and was more emotional.
I liked both but I agree. Josy's version was much more powerful and emotional. I was never much of a Josy guy but her confession/regret moment was so intense that for a moment I was on board of Josy fandom. It was a good scene.

DPC slowly fixing the mistakes of earlier episodes. I just hope for more in the next patch and we should hear both of them regretting their choice of not choosing MC when we have good relation points with them.I disliked we must choose one while missing the other girls scene, I hope both of them get another scene of showing regret in next updates.

Your talking, mostly, a logical progression rather than a huge jump from Ep 3 to Ep 5 if you didn't stay at Bella's? Ok I can understand that. However a lot of this isn't necessarily a logical progression. Look at the Melanie scene. Never even really talked to the girl and yet she crawls in the shower with you and lets you bust a nut inside her. Look at Josy. Give her one flower and you go from a single clothed make out session to fucking in her parents bed. I could go on and on. At some point, and I'm guilty of this as well, we have to let go of our reality and realize this is a game. It isn't going to be realistic and we are never going to fully understand or relate to any of the characters because otherwise it would probably bore the shit out of us.

Edit - Porn by its very nature isn't supposed to be realistic. Its supposed to get your dick hard/pussy wet and that's about it. Its a fantasy plain and simple
It's not that I disagree - this game is about fucking sexy women at college and I'm not expecting real world logic. But I do expect the game to operate with a certain level of internal consistency, because that is what the game itself tells us. That's why there isn't going to be a harem route, right?

Melanie's scenes are clearly portrayed as meaningless sex and I don't think anyone is expecting a Melanie ending if the MC plays his cards right (though that would be funny!). Josy putting out on the second date is certainly... shall we call it rapid progress? But the game made it very clear she and the MC were into each other and her desperation for affection in that scene was unmistakable.

That's what I find missing with Bella. She's a main character so I don't believe this is intended to be empty lust. But while there's clearly something between her and the MC, it's a lot more contradictory and MC doesn't face a "now or never!" threat that might catalyze things. The MC at least convinced himself Josy must have been in an unhappy relationship before he made a move on her. He all but admits he doesn't understand anything about Bella's marriage, so you'd think that (and getting burned with Josy) would make him more hesitant. Instead it seems to make him less so.

Maybe I'm just not in Bella's demographic so the buildup is lost on me. But compared to the other girls, it feels like we skipped a step in Bella's path.

I was going to disagree with you, but on reflection I think you might be right. Envy says this year would be the third time she's been asked to sign a DIK's cock. Since we now know the Pledge Board is constant, it stands to reason that the DIKs have been around for two full school years and this is their third.

Technically it could also mean that Envy missed a Hell Week for some reason, but I'll go with conservation of detail when plausible.

Doesn't "a couple of years" means the same as "a few years" or "several years", so something between 2 and maybe 5 years?
It can do, but in the context of everything else we know about Sage, Jill, and also Envy (shoutout to ename144 for remembering that one), it likely is a literal "couple" of years.

whats the dıfference and what can do to get chıck afınıty
Your affinity of determined by the Major Choices (i.e. fighting or not fighting with with Troy, accepting or not accepting Quinn's services, accepting or rejecting Jade's advances, etc), and the more you have to one side the more affinity you have for that side, i.e. picking more CHICK options gives you CHICK affinity and vice versa. If you pick an equal number of CHICK and DIK choices, then you'll have Neutral affinity.

You status is determined by the smaller actions, like mocking the Jocks in ep 1 gets +DIK but trying to calm them down gets -DIK.

I'm not so much arguing with you but agreeing with you just along a different mental path. You mention Josy's desperation and yet choose to ignore Bella's. Bella has been without her husband for 3 years if I remember the number right. Now we don't know what the reason is but imagine how lonely Bella is vs Josy. Josy and Maya have been apart for a year, maybe a little more?

The MC doesn't strike me as a deep thinker, not saying he's stupid, however he is definitely thinking with his little head.

In ep.2 there is a comment by Rusty about Nick :

rs "Nick is one of the first batch of maggots."
rs "He's been with us for the two years we've been at it."

So it's two years for the DIKs. Maybe DPC wasn't careful with the number of DIKs or they can pledge every semester if there are at least two and they pass the first test?

Josy's feelings of loneliness are basically just typical teenage angst. That belief that your life is so terrible and so much worse than others because at that age, your whole world revolves around you and what you're feeling. It doesn't make a Josy bad that she is that way, but it makes her character more believable.

I also think that the MC is a bit of a deep thinker at times, but not all the time. If he wasn't to some degree, he wouldn't have agonised over the M&J business so much and wouldn't have made that speech to the DIKs because these are things he thought about intensely and was able to handle because of it.

Finally managed to play Episode 5 to its fullest, these updates take a long time to come out but sure as hell is worth the wait, it was very good to see the MC (I'll call him Fuckface from now on since it's the name i gave him in 2 of my saves) and Derek wearing that DIK jacket at the end. So, what's the theories people have regarding future episodes? I haven't appeared in this thread for a long time.

PS: Sage is still best girl

Or, as I said, they can accept more than 2 at the start of the year but this year they only got 2.

You know, Bella's desperation might just be the key to my issue with all this.

I agree, Bella clearly craves the MC's attention on some level. But Bella also seems frightened by the MC's attention on some level, and unlike with Josy or even Maya, the MC doesn't wait for the girl to sort out that dichotomy before he makes a move on her.

This time he seems intent on on sorting it out for her, purely by wearing down her resolve.

Not sure if frightened of the MC is the right way of looking at it. Bella is afraid of Bella. She is desperately lonely, craves physical and emotional contact, and has finally found someone who will push past her "stop" barrier to giver her what she craves and yet morally knows is wrong.

Edit - How do you run from yourself?
