Yeah it seems that way unfortunately for some (not for me tho, there are many more interesting girls in the game :LUL:). Funny thing is, I didn't even consider that up until now, seeing it here you know. The only things left for her to have sex with MC crazy amount of times and Tommy learning MC and Josy. If MC and Josy are friends, Tommy angle becomes irrelevant too. Amazing
excluding the theory of a Tommy secretly in love with Josy, even in the case of MC and Josy in an official relationship, Tommy at most would make a few unhappy jokes, in full DIK style. but it would still not represent a danger.

the only situation in which Tommy can become a threat (more than a threat, a nuisance) is by revealing, through his mother, Josy's father's sentimental situation, if he becomes aware of it.

Josy is the summer crush, and from that point of view she is better than the others

only that characterization was destined to run out, the summer ends at some point, and has not been replaced by anything else

Maya is the damsel in distress, she has to face real problems and she doesn't know how to do it, so she calls MC (or Josy or others) to the rescue

Jill is the "princess and the pea", far from the real world, but sensitive and pure.

Sage is the most complex character, in my opinion, at first she is a party girl, but then at every opportunity some nuances are added (she wakes up early in the morning to check the HOTs accounts, she studies seriously, she has problems with her family. ..)

Bella for now is a very, too, contradictory character, she would like to be Jill's guardian angel but she can't help but get her hands on MC, even if there is obviously something between Jill and Mc. for now she is the MILF of porn movies, who can't resist the plumber, the postman etc ...
Josy
True
If you're going to make a game this big then this "summer crush" plot was bound to run out.
(unless it's Phineas and Ferb's summer vacation which lasts eternity lol)

Maya
Again all her problems are there because of her homosexuality, if you remove that part from her character then she is just another Josy.(This does not means that I've anything against LGBT. This is not reddit, don't assume stuff)

Sage
I think this is a lack of consistency. Her character has probably seen most variation.

Bella
She cares about Jill a lot and wouldn't do something to mess MC and Jill's relationship.
She has been alone for 4 years now and build "walls" around her and is cold towards everyone. But MC and her are slowly starting to get close but she still knows/thinks that this is wrong (this does not happens in porno lol)
Her character is still more interesting than Josy.

I appreciate her character too, but I warn you: don't put too much hope in her, Quinn has a huge target drawn on her back
I agree about Quinn. I'm also becoming increasingly concerned about Josy. I get a chill up my spine every time I play through the atrocious DnG game. Josy's character is killed in every one of the possible outcomes.

Then there's the ep 7 preview. I agree with Bacchus that the photo is of Josy swimming in the HOT pool and shot from below, but the framing of it as something possibly sinister bother's me, it takes my mind back to DPC's "little joke" at the beginning of this forum. It's a cruel joke, and I feel like it reflects a cruelty in DPC's personality, on top of the noxious hipster doofus edginess.

maybe but even this won't be that much of something. Tommy angle was more uhh threatening? before the last 2 episodes. (couldn't decide which word to use there, you know). But now? Now MC's place in DIKs is solid, he's even a part of leadership now. And Tommy decided to open to us a bit at least. It'll just be interesting, nothing more.

All this tho, are related to Tommy, not Josy. Josy lost her appeal almost completely, I say it again. She might be the most uninteresting girl in the game. Even Arieth has the mystery of how many guys did she cheat Dawe with, from who she got the crabs and will she finally get rid of her crabs. Josy : none, nothing, null, nada.

about Maya I don't agree, even without being a lesbian, it would still make sense, certainly it would be a less original character.
but a girl extremely afraid of sex (let's just consider her a virgin), and full of problems is something that still holds up in a story

to make Bella more interesting are only her dark mysteries, if when they are revealed they will be credible and congruent the character will make a lot of progress, if instead the explanations are foolish and specious it will be worse than Josy

Tommy after crossing her in chapter 4 has completely forgotten about her presence (except for the jokes about having avenged Mc for the black eye)

can we blame him?

Well It's time to burn the DIK mansion and kidnap and torture the MC!
As much I hate to say it if this(or something similar) happens, it will probably be Bella.

Her character just fell apart after chapter 3. She just feels like a side character you can easily ignore.
I think if she wasn't introduced as MC's crush in the beginning she would've been like that(i.e. ignorable) from the start
at that stage she had a personality.
it is from chapter 3 that she has lost it and has become an extra (sex in 5 is remarkable but has nothing to do with the matter)

the last act from Josy fully in character is when she confronts Quinn at the beginning of the fourth chapter
when she shows that courage, that audacity that made me appreciate her

Hmm considering how DPC did a complete 180 on Leah from AL, i am not sure what to expect.

but Jill is not a source of problems.
and Maya is very uninhibited compared to Jill

they are not similar characters

I fear a trivial answer to Bella's mysteries, not another serial killer

Yet.
We're just starting with her path tbh
I feel like this mess with Tybalt is just the beginning.

true, but MC is causing that problem, Jill tries to fix it (questionably)

it's not Jill dragging MC into her problem, it's the opposite (not considering Tybalt's plot)

wow, after seeing all these posts, I am beginning to re-evaluate my stances on the LI's, which I will probably need to replay again ( I deleted my saves and want to play again knowing what I know making better decisions in each route)

I have hope (small but there) that either 2 things with the Josy/Maya plot will happen:
If in the throuple their bonds grow stronger and they are practically inseparable, while taking turns having sweet and caring moments/awesome sex scenes with the MC.

Or B : this situation with their father will be the nail in the coffin of their relationship and they break up, allowing for the MC to choose who he wants but then it being Sophie's choice situation, where the MC has to choose between the 2 and possibly alienate the one he didnt choose (happens irl all the time) and then as was said earlier completionist will do more saves each with a solo Josy or Maya playthrough.

so I've spent more time thinking about Jill than I probably should, her storyline for me has been almost too sweet, her kindness and caring attitude I feel is what ultimately does her in and also why Bella has to counsel her so often about it.
with how episode 6 ended I am hoping she will grow a back bone and tell Tybbie to go fuck his melon, or maybe hope she moves out of the Mansion and maybe in with Bella after the blow up, if the MC said on their date at the end that he wants to fight for her, I want to see it, I've even had scenarios in my head of how some of those "secret meetings" would go but ultimately him standing up for her (if she doesn't do it herself) and being the knight in shining armor for her would be the best case for them both (even if it is tropey af)

Sage and Quinn (yes Quinn include because I quite fancy her now)

There is obviously a dynamic between the 2, Sage on the one hand while being the easy going hot Senior all freshmen wanna get with, has a side of her we barely scratched. I want to see Sage get a bit more invested in the MC maybe making him the bridge that gets the HOTs and the DIKs back in each others good graces. Her obsession with Chad I feel is more that he cheated on her, than her loving him, its a trust thing, and after their talk about families I feel like shes a broken person that the MC will try to mend at some point and already has started.

and now with Quinn, the first playthrough I really hated her character, her constantly fucking with people (or fucking people) was a big turn off for me and I just couldn't get into her character as much, but on subsequent play throughs I started noticing that her Bitch persona was just that, she acts tough and plays tough because she has to be, her life wasn't always rosy and unicorns and loving parents etc. so she puts that tough girl personality up with the MC, but I have a feeling now that the MC has seen the softer side of her she will either A: allow him in more (which could be detrimental considering shes dealing drugs, prostitution) or 2: She will slowly fall for him and have some sort of redemption arc.

I would do a section on Bella but her time with the MC is so small considering how they share time, I still feel she will be the Milf or older woman whom the MC gets a more adult experience from but realizes he should be with women his own age. I don't really see any good outcomes with her and the MC (unless someone here could give me some examples) I dont want her to die or anything bad happen to her mind you, but I could see her route being closed off after season 2 and she simply becomes a side character.

(sorry for the long post) tl;dr I think EP7 is where we see major changes for some of the if not all the LI's.

Yeah, Quinn's a weird one. Sometimes when you show genuine affection she swoons like she's going through puberty, other times she literally kicks you in the nuts.

And I'm not at all sure what her deal is, because she seems to show no hesitation when it comes to "fixing" her situation (which does tragically make sense), even if it comes at the cost of people I get the impression she truly does care about.

And then other times she comes off as straight-up evil, so fuck if I know.
