Given how her sister was treated by their parents, I seriously doubt they'd be ok with Jill hooking up with a destitute commoner. Seems unlikely to have a fairytale ending, aside from maybe Jill following the same path as MC's mother and giving up everything to be with him. But that's not going to lead to them being set for life. They do say money can't buy you happiness though.

They are wrong.

The obvious appeal of the idea is that money can buy happiness in the sense that it can provide for basic necessities and stability, but not much beyond that, meaning that multi billionaires like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are much richer but not all that happier than the rest of us. The only problem with this idea is that it's wrong, and that we'd all obviously be much happier if we had millions of dollars. A new study published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences says that the $75,000 figure is bullshit and that happiness continues to .
The study, titled Experienced well-being rises with income, even above $75,000 per year, doesn’t mince words. “There was … no evidence of an income threshold at which experienced and evaluative well-being diverged, suggesting that higher incomes are associated with both feeling better day-to-day and being more satisfied with life overall.”
The new study is the work of Matt Killingsworth, a senior fellow at Wharton School for Business at the University of Pennsylvania. His study is based on 1,725,994 samples pulled from 33,391 employed adults in the United States. He collected the samples using an app he designed called . “The way it works is that people get pinged at random moments as they go about their daily lives,” Killingsworth told Motherboard over Zoom. “And then I ask them some questions about their experience, just before that moment, how they feel, what they’re doing, and a variety of other things.”

Following last week's big update, this one will be shorter.

I'm working on the checklist I presented last week .

This week I worked mainly on static renders for a couple of big scenes and wrote code.

I've purchased and added new music and sound effects and playtested a few scenes.

I have added everyone who signed up to be in the credit section of the game.

1036 patrons, on top of all anonymous donors, are now listed in the credits.

It's crazy to think that back when episode 1 was released, there were 17 patrons in the credit section.

Next week I will start off focusing on writing and most likely posing animations.

Have a nice weekend

And we're back to minimal quantitative analysis. Would it kill him to give us some numbers for those static renders he worked on?

We do get a rare sneak preview though. It's interesting, certainly. I wonder if Jade will be part of our group? (That said, I wish we could switch places with Sarah. I'd much rather have an actual discussion with Maya, Ashley and KRJ than have to endure Derek's "I am Man, hear me roar" antics yet again.)

I've been wondering... What do you guys see in Jill?

She has no sexual experience and getting her to express anything romantic/sexual requires mountains to be moved. She can't bring herself to touch MC and she can hardly bring herself to kiss the MC.

From a platonic standpoint, because she's accepted Tybalt's blackmail you have to sneak around just to be able to communicate with her. You've hardly even known her a month and you pretty much have to ghost each other for another month.

I guess i've just been looking at this from a real-world perspective. The MC has an entire sorority (and then some) practically throwing themselves at him. I can't imagine any reality in which MC does not take a single one of them up on that offer and waits it out for someone that has very little to offer and is mentally and emotionally underdeveloped.

MC and Jill just seems so unrealistic with all things given. She doesn't bring anything to the table but is oddly jealous (presentation scene) MC pursues other options? It doesn't add up in my mind
I don't see what's hard to understand. As others have said, some people like like Jill's personality and/or looks. She's a game character so her virginity isn't preventing us from having actual sex. At worst it makes her the slow burn of the story, and at best it makes it fun to 'corrupt' her. Either way, the important part is that it's an aspect of her character. And even in the real world, character matters quite a lot.

You're certainly welcome to dislike Jill and skip her content as much as possible. But for myself I really enjoyed the way she helped the MC get his head back on straight during the Josy Crisis. Plus, while her model is notoriously inconsistent, she can be downright adorable at times.

My only issue with Jill is the abominable blackmail plotline, and the problems there have nothing to do with her lack of sex scenes.

Really? Seems to me like it's all but certain to get a fairytale ending. We're hitting all the tropes, except maybe for giving Bella some fairy godmother magic.

I agree with you except for one person. (y)

THAT IS NOT KRJ IN THE ROUND OF SARAH, ASHLEY AND MAYA.

For comparison a picture of KRJ.

We gonna be rich. Where is my money, bitch?:Kappa:
Considering their sex drives I don't see how they could be long-term compatible.

besides virgins are just like other girls they just require a bit more work but think of it like clay in your hands you can sexually sculpt her into the perfect lover for you from an anal slut to a cock gobbler to the boring perfect housewife...
Gotta say... I know this is a pirate site dedicated to porn games but this still ended up one of the most uncomfortable run-on sentences I have ever read.

For my ten cent input:
Jill's appeal is probably that she's the pure romantic option. If it wasn't for the blackmail subplot - which can likely be solved easily if the MC and/or Jill use their heads for a second - her story would be an uncomplicated budding relationship. Sex has managed to somehow complicate all the other ones in a way. Jill's is just an innocent first love type path.

Going to have to disagree with you there. If you change the purple sweater to a teal one, the new image looks almost exactly like how KRJ appeared when we first met her:

EDIT:
We also know KRJ owns alternate colors for that sweater, too!

After seeing this reaction to Jill's blackmailed subplot, I wonder how we will react to the inevitable Jonathan x Jill storyline in Season 3 :ROFLMAO:
I'm thinking people are giving Jonathan too much weight.

Jill has a circle of friends outside the mc and his group, and Jonathan (potentially among others) is involved in her campaign for whatever it is she's campaigning.

If we leapt from Tybalt blackmailing her to a Jonathan obstacle arc, that'd become way too monotonous.

It's obvious she has the hots for the mc, I'd say Tybalt, and Jill's own anxiety, are the only obstacles in the immediate relationship.

Jonathan probably is social worker who helped lana through her drug addiction or something
Given Lana's current condition, methinks he may have failed?

In my current playthrough, I feel like Jill treats the MC like a child. I know she's just being maternal and protective, but I can't imagine a 19 year old guy appreciating that too much. At least how I play the MC, I don't see him and Jill working. In hindsight I think Sage would have been the best choice for my MC because they seem to work well together. The only reason I didn't have the MC pursue her earlier was that she was still dating Whatshisface and I didn't want to add to the drama there.

Jonathan could become important in that he is the one who realizes that Jill's piano playing problem can be solved by the presence of the MC. I could imagine Jonathan getting Jill and the MC to play the first song of the performance together. The MC is already practicing diligently.

I thought Jonathan was related to Jill's sister Lana's campaign
I didn't know he was giving Jill piano lessons too
