VN Ren'Py Being a DIK [v0.10.1] [Dr PinkCake]

I use joiplay to play, any other part seems to be working but it crashes when i press done in the episode 7 ending transition screen, the game works well in any other episodes so it must not be that joiplay dont support it, anyway do anyone have a fix or an idea how to fix it?

Even with a different save for every route it's still a fuckin difficult decision

IMHO the overhaul best options are: Maya/Josy and Jill, cause:

Jill is basically written to be perfect in general sense, she's cute&hot, nice, funny (kinda hahaha), sweet (maybe too sweet sometimes) smart, talented and rich as fuck (also no ex-boyfriend drama )
(JUST TO BE CLEAR, I know everyone have their tastes and there's people that likes drama and freak shit like cucking, sharing, coprophilia... I'm just trying to be pragmatic here and AGAIN I'm talking about general idea of what a "perfect" partner would be.)

to be fair, in 1x1 I doubt any girl could beat her "advantages"...

But, in the other hand we have Maya/Josy, and as long any on them don't "burn to death"*, that's 2 awesome and hot girls for the price of 1 relationship... what a bargain!!!

BTW we also have Quinn she's clearly bi and don't mind sharing the MC so if she brings her "crew" along, she's a strong competitor for MC's heart (and cock... mostly cock )

Given this the only possible solution is...
Stick to DiK's path and stick the dick on every possible girl because that's a porn game

On the DIK path, are only Sage and Others the path you can take? On CHICK i only have Bella, Maya & Josy and Sage (hope i have a save where Jill door isn't closed, or else i'm in for a fun ride from the start hahaha).
What exactly is the point of being Neutral, any additional paths or just a combination of possible LIs that exclude themselves otherwise?

I think, Jill's path is not closed if you're Neutral. You just miss some scenes. I think.

And Sage is a DIK path, that allows for neutral later on, I believe.

The crash after the windows thing isn't a crash, it's actually a cheat check causing the game to quit.
I've attached a quick patch, but feel free to look for other calls to renpy.quit() (there's also a check for the filename 1NewCheatMod.rpyc as well as for the game running on Android).

This sucks more or less. I come to this screen and than the game quits. I don't understand what the fun is from the dev instead of nagging. I removed the game from my harddisk and the dev can put it on a place where the sun doesn't shine. It was really fun so far. But this is not the way I want to play a game.

I was on the Bella/Jill route even though I knew it was suicidal. Didn't expect it to pan out this way. Thought they would discuss how they feel about each other at a table or something. But this is DPC we're talking about. The D in DPC stands for drama. Also did Jill get a good look at MC's face through the window cause MC's scalp was facing her. She might not have seen his face and thought Bella moved on from her husband? But then looking at her reaction, it doesn't look that way. My MC is fucked either path. Farewell to a happy ending

I meant that specific render of Bella? Did you choose Jill over her? because I had my MC be with Bella and then had Jill view Bella riding MC through a window before walking away

I think Jill path closed for me when she had to go on 3 dates with Tybalt and i chose not to pursue her anymore. Pretty sure it happened on DIK and also CHIK paths, i have permanent affinity on both. Sage is also on both and i think more or less the same. It's interesting on CHIK you don't get the other option, maybe you do on Neutral and i know you do on DIK.

Just started playing the game, and trying to decide whether to go DIK/chick. Are all the LI available on either path? Is there anyone who is exclusively on either?

Also, what variables can I use in the console to toggle between the two?

You need to have the CHICK affinity to be with Maya/Josy and in the ep8 you can't begin a relationship with Jill If you have a DIK affinity, aside from that nothing major, just choices that give you more points if you're on that affinity or different flavor text depending on this, i recommend using the Universal Ren'Py Mod so you can choose options even though you dont have the requirements needed.

You can change the variable in the console typing affinity = "CHICK" or affinity = "DIK"

Quotation marks are needed for them to work.

You can choose to pursue her on Neutral path, AFAIK. But it has been a while since I looked at the update 7 code extensively.

Maybe it changed. There were some changes to the coding of previous episodes in this update.

You get that when you reject Bella by calling her (but date her before), either choosing Maya & Josy, Jill or Sage on CHIK paths. Not sure how far you can get with her on the DIK path, probably if she finds panties in her car after you fuck Cathy, you're done with her.

Yeah, I went with the Bella route first. The dating scene in the backyard was great but, Jill finding out messed up the progression of revealing to Jill about their relationship. I was curious about the other options and any scenario where you turn down Bella is devastating. She was basically like a "mother" to MC taking care of him when he had his problems. Turning her down felt like a spit in her face. I don't like that outcome where she ends up alone and without anyone. You saw how she had a hard time opening up to other people. MC was the only one successful and it feels like he used her for her house, her care, and her affection, if you led her on for so long of course. I don't think their relationship would recover given they have history and the cracks would show themselves if MC ends up with Jill.

I'm on Neutral but there is no Jill option at the end. Only Sage, Isabella and Maya&Josy

Yeah, if I had the time and talent for design, I'd do it. The game is still in development, so it can even become useless if in an update DPC changes something.
