Good game I legit played this for the plot

Most people I think wind up playing for plot in both of DPC's games. The lewd scenes are fine, but if the story and the plot are sub-par, then the sex scenes mean nothing.

Maya and Josy are almost guardian angels because they will save the MC's ass from various SG who are going to screw up two relationships, one has already happened and the other is expected for the third season

As of it right now it is hard to tell, whether there will be a benefits for Neutral on the long run or not. DPC sometimes has this habit of putting extra animation behind Affinity wall. But one befenefits is surely have. You are not Chick . Overall all main love interest require at least Neutral affinity. This is good if you dont want to be full Chick. And most of the side girl are also available, except Quinn.
We need season 3 first, to see if it's still affecting the love interest, after the Big decision or not.

I don't think he has decided the endings, in fact I've seen very little that would convince me that he has more than a vague outline as to where the story should go.

That comes from his style of writing. DPC writes the story backwards, I didn't know that but I was reading the AL thread and I found a message from the Dr. admitting that he wrote the story backwards with AL and now everything makes more sense to me.

When you write a story from the present to the future (but you haven't decided the ending, just the present setting) things are very cohesive because the things your characters are doing shape the future. You don't know where and how the road will end, you are just building the road as you write it, but the road is destination unknown. This is the classic way of writing episodic media like sagas and tv shows. When a tv show starts, they don't have a clue in season 1 of what's gonna happen in season 5 (it may not get there if it's cancelled).

Now, when you write a story backwards you know how it ends and what are you trying to accomplish but you have to think of the story that is going to take you there, so some things can feel like a vague outline because the effort is not on the actual things happening, is in the direction you want them to take. That's why some characters have changed, or some things are poor plot devices (like Maya's loan) or screw ups, they are things you need to do to make the plot advance in the direction you need to get to your ending (For example Star Wars ep1-3 was written this way) and sometimes can feel forced, out of character, etc.

So, he may not know every detail about the endings (still has to write them) but I'm sure he has a good idea of what he wants.

On the positive side, this style of writing gives you a dynamic story because you feel things moving. And because he has thought of future events he is able to drop here and there all this little details and clues that we love, this thread would be 4k pages shorter without them

I think DPC realized that if he leaves the chosing our LI for later, he's really going to be in trouble with all the branching that's going on (I mean he already has trouble with it and there are some screw ups here and there). It's safe to say that he got way too ambitious with the project and since he doesn't want to hire any help, he's running into these problems. I mean there are so many great characters that deserve routes of their own, but I'm not sure if we will get them all.

actually no! the story is finally streamlined now all branches are dead ends in regards to the story he will just make 5 sex scenes for each li and 5 hang outs 1 for each LI which are usable even if you are not on her path up to a point, all other content including the others content will always be available to the MC (with consequences!)

for those who picked others the sluts... i mean LI will up the game with the teasing until the player finally gets into one of the LI path ... i can even see the sluts ... i mean the LI upping the game if you are oficial boynkfriending one of the other LI´s!

Bella's ending doesn't have to be like MC and Bella married and had a kid and lived in her house, for example. That ending wouldn't fit, honestly. I'll be glad if we get something like MC graduates and sometime later runs into Bella, she looks better... Healthier. MC remembers how he helped her overcome her issues and move on and have a normal life. Then Bella goes like, "would you fancy a cup of coffee?" and we get a black screen and the ending is up to our interpretation.

The throuple ending is the most difficult of them all, there are way too many issues to be worked around and figuring out an ending that is different than a fuckfest is going to be a trick.

yes and no! it also works for Nicole Lilly Sarah Rhyona Camilla and basically all other girls for which the players developed a special interest but basically yes at least 25% of all people who picked others did so out of Quinn which means 1/10 of all players choose her as a LI putting her probably as 3rd in the general interest right after Bella or Sage who are oficial LI`s!

from the others Quinn in clearly the most popular and if she was an official LI i have no doubt she would be a contender for the title and always be at the top3 !

I don't think the ending of this game should be all that definitive. To me, this game is about the journey, not the destination.

That would inspire more devs to put more funds more efforts in a games developement... hence the quality will rise in general ! right now LoM is probably the best game for that where the dev should clear the porn and most of the lewd and pack it in a patch for the adult version while releasing the game for everyone and not just the porn crowd!

No, while Jill might be dumb and naive at times, she should know that whatever Bella and MC have is their business and theirs alone. It isn't her concern if MC never showed interest in her. It's a different story if he did though. She'd be destroying her friendship with Bella if she did, just an all around dumb move.

It looks like there are "Steam Achievements" if you get the Steam version, and depending on how nuanced they are, that could be fun (someone who's got the Steam version could fill in the details there), but otherwise the big issue is the long wait for the next Steam release.

The game is purportedly half way through, so based on what we know, the next Steam release (Season 3 - includes episodes 9 - 12) will be in 2+ years and the final release (Season 4 - includes episodes 13 - 16) will be 2+ years on top of that, whereas the Patreon releases will be roughly every six months (one episode at a time).

Now this is only an estimate, the times may vary a little bit (based on current trends, they could get even longer), but ultimately you'll be waiting 4 times longer for the Steam releases in season format rather than episode format.

That's a very long fucking wait between play time.

Well they do not need to be yet they still are... and I don't believe these patch works will do anything good in this case Everybody wants their lewd content and if it gets out that this is actually an adult game regulations change so back to square one !
