1. Incorrect, people are triggered because Zoey suddenly showed up way too late into the game when people have already lost interest. We already had to make the hard choice of a single LI (or the trouple for the M&J path) only for Zoey to show up now of all times. The events in the interlude make her seem even worse then she already did, especially with DPC classic lack of communication patented spin for brain dead Drama.

2. This is insanely subjective. I find her exceptionally ugly, especially with the blue hair and that specific haircut (mind you I liked Rena in AL but holy shit wtf is wrong with Zoey's hair), all of the tatoos are an absolute overkill, not as much as her bitch of a friend but still way too many.

DPC literally went "How can i introduce drama where there is none? Oh, I know, let's re-introduce MC's EX out of nowhere. I am brilliant!"

These guys still haven't realized that episode 8 came out in november 2021 - correct me if I'm wrong - and episode 9 will come out in october 2022 because of their beloved Interlude. This is what exactly triggers me.

But they still think that the Interlude was such a nice idea.

Let me be honest - interlude was shit and a dictionary definition of pointless - it brought no new information and did not make Zoe likable or worth being invested into. Everything connected to Zoe is waste of everyone's time and very little else.

No, it would have done all of those things if we actually knew her or cared about her. Again, Josy before coming to college - we saw her, talked to her, got invested in her and when she came to college she became a rival to other main girls. That storyline works - once.

We don't know Zoe. We don't care about Zoe. She is perfectly irrelevant and comes ouf of thin air to eat screen time of the romantic plots that are years in development and finally coming to fruition.

This is frustrating. I want to see more Sage/Trouple/Halloween/Jill/anything but a completely new storyline that is pushed into my face.

She doesn't just resemble Josy. Her role in the story IS Josy - a previous romantic connection from before college coming to compete.

No, he thrown a plot with a Halloween party, Sage family, etc and then derailed it and side tracked it by a completely new storyline that is neither needed or appreciated. A huge part of the future episode screen time will be wasted on a character that shouldn't even be there for all other plotlines to work. You waited for all those things that took years to set up? Hah, fuck you, get yourself a new character pushed into your face.

Every single character of the game has art aplenty. Zoe has the least made even now, when she is introduced - you will struggle to find a single new art with her coming in a week. Bella or any other main girl has like ten every week.

I'm looking forward to her return. Have been since the mc told Bella about her.

I suppose I could go to the BaDIK space on Discord to look into this, but thought I'd see if somebody can help me here first. In the last free roam in the DIK mansion, there is an optional "water your pot of flowers" task. I cannot click on either plant in the MC's room--neither the small tree next to the desk or the potted plant next to the bed. What am I missing? No mods or anything installed, so it's either a bug or I'm doing something wrong. Thanks!

Plus, she can be the one who will combine characters from different paths and gather them in one place. And of course Pink wants to control the story, without Zoey, the story will develop somewhat chaotically due to branching, Zoey will give some structure

No, it's not a bug. It's just something that's not explained that well in the game. Jamie does tell MC that he's going to give him flowers so he can try gardening and by logic you expect them to show up in MC's room.

The plant isn't in MC's room. You have to go to Jamie's garden room with all the flowers. There's a pot of flowers that you can click on and that's how you complete the task.

I might remember wrong, but I dont think those are the same flowers. When you visit the Garden Room you can decide to start gardening yourself (unless you're DIK). Later theres a scene where he tells you that he took care of your plants because you forgot, and then afterwards theres the free roam where you finally can start taking care of your own plants.

So the gardening starts in that flower room and it's always done in that room and I dont think those are the flowers he brings to your room as a gift - the flowers he brings to your room as a gift are not at all intendet for gardening, and I think they happen in every version of the game, it doesnt matter whether you have any interest in plants at all.

I can, because I stumbled into Madame without forewarning. Upon seeing the hag I immediately backtracked and gave up on the VIP pass. I find her repugnant.

Arieth is not only dumb, and potentially diseased, but I also find her physically unappealing - so the only way I'm going to see her content is if I install a gallery unlocker of some sort.

Unfortunately, I do not have time to follow all the information in the discussions. Can someone briefly explain why so many people hate Zoey? I don't see anything about her that makes me feel so negative.

It seems to me that Zoey fans, more than any others, have this bizarre need for everyone to love their waifu as much as they do. Look at Madame by contrast. I am sure she has one, possibly two fans on here. Madame takes more flak than anyone, yet you don't see her two fans crying about how inconceivable it is that more people don't love her the way that they do. They just say...oh well, more for me. I respect the hell out of those people, not just for admitting they are attracted to an old wildebeest, but that are confident enough in it that they don't need to drag others to their cause so they can feel more secure in their choice.

Even Jill fans whose girl gets regular hate, rarely feel compelled to convince every other person to love her. They just crush on her and leave it at that. But Zoey fans can't seem to understand why not everyone likes the exact same things they do. Just whomever you want and care not what other simping is going on.

Just as an ex. I like pre butt-implant Sally and I'm sure that is a minority belief. I wouldn't care at all if no one shares my opinion.
