when i got caught, DPC was slowly changing his patreon reward release process from a general email sent to all patrons who qualified that just had the preview pic in the email itself, to sending out emails with individual links to download the preview pic. i also imagine they were sent out in waves to narrow down possible leaks

i posted the Sage preview pic like 5-10 min after i got the download link, and like a few minutes after that DPC already knew who i was and sent me on my way.

idk how he does stuff now, but i imagine its still similar to that process. i never had anything even close to the same username here and on patreon, so it wasnt hard to anonymously post the preview pic without being discovered. but he finally figured out the just mass emailing the image itself wasnt going to ever be trackable lol
It's like an anti-piracy obsession, he spends a lot of extra time protecting his content.

He probably marked the picture somehow. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to track you by your post. Did it have a hash in the name maybe ?
Remember how Tyrion Lannister found out that Pycelle is more loyal to Cersei? He told absolutely different stories to all people who he had doubts about and the story that breaks the surface marked the traitor.
It's not so difficult to connect the dots

Well it's finally here, The Hammer-Time Mod™ that makes MC fuck like the pornstar that everyone acts like he is. He lays pipe like a plumber, he's the mayor of pound town, whatever floats your boat. We had a slight delay after I finished episode 7 and decided to take a break for uhhh... user testing, and I'm happy to report it's good.

And that's that. I'm a steam player so idk if I'll be in for episode 9 any time soon after that drops, we'll see what the future holds or Hammer Time! In all seriousness, this is a beautiful game and I'm so grateful for DPC and everyone else who has made this the experience it is today. Hopefully someone else enjoys this mod as a little cherry on top.
So i placed the webm files in the respective folders, but I'm still getting the slow scenes. Am I supposed to delete some files? Nothing is being overwritten, just a new folder dropping in.

Great mod, btw.

I can't believe I'm online right now to help troubleshoot! You're right my instructions weren't specific enough, you need to copy+paste the scenes in to the respective folders, not the episode folders I posted. This should give you the option to overwrite, I only made the episode folders to make it easy to know what scenes need to go where.

I'm glad someone else is interested!

This week I've been working methodically, producing art for shorter to medium-long scenes and checking off my checklist as I went.

I've been working on the free-roam environmental art needed for me to test the final free-roam event too.

Soon, I'll be able to test the entire episode for the first time without any errors or blocking areas. There will be art missing during that test, but that's how it is when you develop these games.

The episode will be the biggest in the game so far. Funny how that always happens. I have reached 4103 posed renders, and I have ~30 more scenes to make art for.

Reaching 4000 renders is a big milestone for the episode, and that's worth celebrating.

It's been hard to be accurate with guessing how big this episode will be, but we're getting closer to the end of the development cycle. Tasks are becoming more defined, and the checklist is shrinking.

My mindset lately is that I've come this far, and I'll add what I want for the episode, regardless of how many more renders it takes. I'm not going to rush or leave out the content I've planned. I don't think anyone wants that.

There's more art on the schedule for next week. I don't think I will need to reach 5000 renders to complete the remaining 30 scenes, but time will tell. My current strategy is to work on static renders and leave animations for a bit later. While those remaining animations render, I will playtest and polish everything.

Plenty of animation work remains, but I'm making progress. No PC is idle, and neither am I.

Completion stats
Static renders: ~85% (4103 posed)
Animations: ~75% (229 posed)

Have a nice weekend

Lots of posing in this status update, but no word on actual completions. So there's not much I can add to the charts, other than updating the estimated totals based on DPC's completion percentages. Here are the technically new charts:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
If you look closely you can see that target numbers for both animations and statics increased slightly (by 5 and 175, respectively). Based on the most recent estimated render speeds, that probably adds a week or so to the development time. Now in theory render speeds should have sped up since DPC is focusing on statics and the inordinately long animation has finally finished, but until DPC gives us some completion numbers there's no way to verify that.

Personally, I still think we're looking at a mid-November release; DPC would need to rival his highest ever animation render speeds for a full month to hit these targets (and finish beta testing) before the end of October. I don't see that happening, not when his trend is to make longer and more complex animations. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, though.

yeah mid november is the most realistic scenario at this point...

DPC just has a plan before hand for every episode and what he needs to tell in those... doing only that the episodes might not be that big, during development he is just adding more and more stuff, most of the time "side-content" and ideas he is getting during the process and the episodes are growing bigger and bigger because of that... but he never "cuts" things out. That ends in bigger episodes every time and longer development times too. I think he has kind of an OCD about that, he has an idea, and nothing stops him to add it into the episode, if its mean we have to wait longer, so be it...

Sometimes its a little frustrating to know that the development time for each episode will take longer and longer... but, the outcome is just amazing all the time... iam sure its the same with this one.

So yeah... ill stick to mid-late november release.

Hi,

Thanks for the tech support. I dropped the webm files directly already. For instance anim_cam_bj_ep1 is directly inside the original file BaD>game>images>ep1>shower. But because the image files have different names and file types from your video files I don't think the computer will automatically overwrite. Unless you mean, they will simply use the new files without needed to delete the old ones. However I have tested it and the game still defaults the the slow bang speeds.

Do you know which image files need to be deleted manually to get the thrusts per minute you've so generously provided for us?

Thanks again for making this mod. Love DPC, but he fucks like a grandma.

at least some consolation for having to wait... 10? 11 months?
no, I still don't count interlude as an episode. aside from the scene where the smurf is getting tattood and DPC went out of this way to make her face look good, nothing from it is worth mentioning.
