Hey, guys. If you are on the Josy/Maya branch, which affinity works best: neutral or chick? I tried neutral in the past, and while it works well enough, I found that some interactions with Maya were not available if you did not behave as a chick. I even recall a huge chick interaction with her at the very beginning of the story. But what about Josy? Does she fully interact with the MC if he behaves as a chick? My guess is that it should be OK, since she is into girls as well, but I am not sure. So there lies my question: neutral or chick affinity for these two?

since Maya is there, CHICK is recomended, for Josy there are no restrictions

I never said that Sage will do just that, only that it seems clear to me that DPC winks at this situation, I don't think it's a coincidence if in the same chapter Sage kisses Josy, Maya admits that she finds Sage very attractive and Sage throws up the possibility of future threesomes. then it can be a joke or an omen.

who then would remain for the possible threesomes? who would these available girls be and who would enjoy Sage's full trust?
Melanie and Sarah? I don't think they are so in symbiosis with Sage


since their friendship begins with the guitar episode I'd say MC didn't feel he was so mistreated.

and MC also has a very marginal role in Sage's choice to help Maya, he is involved only after everything has been done and decided in the usual role of moral support. at the limit it is MC who is forcibly involved in having to accompany simple friends to a meeting of which he could be interested in little or nothing


but that goes for all LIs, they are all in a porn game. but only Sage is the one who has to remind at every opportunity that she is still available (even if she just got dumped). Maya and Bella for example never do it, Jill only once but only under certain very specific conditions (only if she was left for Bella), Josy is the only one we can say does something similar to Sage, but in a much less direct.

according to me it's not a necessity, it's a DPC choice

Sorry, this debate has become a loop. I'm not going to repeat my arguments and it seems that you are just contradicting me for the hell of it, because I doubt very much that you yourself believe what you're writing. Actually I have only read the first paragraph of this one. I only say that if DPC makes Sage the stupid nympho only interested in fucking other girls no matter the consequences for MC that you say, I would probably leave her path and all the fucking game, because it would be a retarded twist for the character and BaDIK would be just another stupid porn game for a quick fap.

Josy doesn't seem to have an affinity preference, she likes DIK Fuckface as much as CHICK, as you say though Maya is CHICK affinity so if you're focused on keeping throuple together, or want a solo Maya path in the future CHICK would be your best affinity.

On the other hand, to think that if Sage is in a relationship with MC, is going to want a 3some with her and MC is stupid. When MC goes to live with Sage, he says to her "Maya lied to me, or kept something from me". Obviously now she thinks is her lesbianism. And she knows that MC had a crush on Maya because MC recognizes that when they are in the pool and with his attitude during the "movie night". What Sage thinks before the talk with Maya is "MC had a crush with Maya, then Josy came, Maya told MC that she was her girlfriend, and broke MC's heart, but now they seems to be friends, so it's OK if I befriend Maya too.". But after talking to Maya, she knows there were something more. Do you think that Sage, if is starting a relationship with MC, is going to try to organize a 3some with her boyfriend and the girl he had a crush with only a few weeks ago? A girl that is into a serious relationship? And knowing that her soon-to-be-boyfriend and Maya had a real story, something that even made Maya to have doubts about her lesbianism? I´m sorry but it's absurd. No girl in the world pushes her boyfriend into the arms of a girl he had feelings for, and reciprocated, unless she's stupid or wants to be dumped.

The same way is absurd that Sage would organize a 3some with a girl that could bring problems to MC with his brothers: Heather, Josy, Elena and Maya. Do you think Derek would be OK seeing Maya doing "the walk"?

I don't think DPC will go that way. It would be stupid.

I think a key difference between how Sage reacts to Chad and MC is honesty, since Chad was clearly hiding shit from her and she was well aware of it. But when she confronted him about it, he continued to lie and deflect. It's the lies that set her off more than anything. That, and Chad wasn't fucking her.

During the fuckbuddy phase of Sage's relationship, she didn't care who MC was fucking, for obvious reasons. In CH9 though, things are more serious. She's not fine with MC fucking around anymore and she's clearly threatened by MC's ex girlfriend (Picking Zoey for the costume contest while on Sage's path makes her expression change).

After EP9, I think Sage is only okay with MC fucking other girls so long as she's playing too. If she finds out MC is fucking other girls behind her back, she's going to get pissed. If she catches him lying about it though, then I expect we'll see MC's skin hanging outside the HOT house.

how do i use them tho? i'm pretty bad with computers and stuff, i tried to download the "season 1&2 persistent save" and the "Interlude start save" but when i boot up the game nothing shows up on the saves. am i supposed to put them in a specific folder?

Being a Dik folder - game folder - saves folder.

Put them there.

I don't think that a proud girl like Sage, that knows that could attract any guy in B&R could be OK with a freshman rejecting her several times and/or dumping her after proposing to her to start dating, and she accepting. I don't think that Sage would hate MC, but I don't think that she would insist in doing things with him like planning the party, hanging out together, or being so friendly and flirty with him in the party. I think it makes little sense. It's just that DPC needs that MC and Sage remain friends because he needs it for the sake of the plot, and she's friendly and flirty with him because DPC uses a good number of the same recycled scenes for Sage's boyfriend path and for Sage's acquaintance path, only changing some details.

Actually, I don't think that MC would be friend of a girl that for at least two episodes is a bitch with him. She blackmails him threatening not to return a guitar that is obviously his, and doesn't care if MC is going to have a lot of problems with Chad and the tri-alphas because of her. The logical reaction to MC once he gets his guitar back is to think "That Sage is just a selfish bitch" and forget about his promise to her. It was made under blackmail, anyway.

I think that the first two episodes of Sage are terrible writing, and all the story of Sage as just a friend of MC has mostly cero sense. I don't see why they could become friends without having the "fuck buddies" relationship. But it happens the same with other characters. Bella, for example. I don't see how a guy like MC that spend the two or three firsts episodes being an immature asshole in front of Bella could become her boyfriend at some point. It's the problem of a story so complex and with all those branches. Some of them work, some of then, don't.
