Pirates being heavily upset that their future effortless heist will take longer to happen never ceases to amaze.

We haved Jacob loop, Bella loop and now it Development Time Loop. Available every Friday after the status update and so on in a circle.Man, people are crying over development times again? Why don't you guys play other games here that release with 500 renders per 3 months lmfao. BAdik is the biggest game in this site and is also one of the most well made one with tons of minigames, free roams and high quality animations. I honestly don't see the point of bitching after every status updates as if Dpc cares what we or anybody think about his game![]()
No pirate wants to sail the seven seas for 9 months to find the booty, rowdy. Sail, Ho!Pirates heavily upset that their future effortless heist will take longer to happen never ceases to amaze.
Whenever I hear the word narcissist, I reach for my pistolThat's an extreme stretch. She's definitely a stubborn arsehole, and has a bunch of issues due to her upbringing, but I really don't feel "psychopath" or "narcissist" really apply to her. She likes people who fight her to much to be a narcissist, and while there are moments she comes across as a psychopath, there's enough hints that's just part of her front.
An analogy that explains my reaction when seeing that even with the hardware update the development time increased is the analogy of the bisexual son.Edit: totally forgot about how this guy has upgraded his hardware twice now, which somehow led to longer release times![]()
I'm afraid to ask but what's the Jacob loop ?We haved Jacob loop, Bella loop and now it Development Time Loop. Available every Friday after the status update and so on in a circle.![]()
Then don't.No pirate wants to sail the seven seas for 9 months to find the booty, rowdy. Sail, Ho!
My thoughts exactly. I just don't want to be the one to break civility lolWhenever I hear the word narcissist, I reach for my pistol
Unfortunately people nowadays love to throw that shit around
To those grumbling, I wouldnt worry about the statics. It's the ambiguity around animations that is more of an issue. You must be registered to see the links

This week I started by working on some time-consuming art I had postponed but wanted to complete soon.
I updated my planning and flowcharts, played and polished parts of the episode, and wrote much of the missing content.
I have a handful of scenes left to write and a handful of lewd scenes that need animations. 20 scenes of varying length, including two free-roam events, need static renders. The range per scene is likely 20-200 static renders, so it's hard to tell how many renders are left to make. In my mind, it's at least 1000 more.
I have some important scenes left to create, and they will get the attention they deserve. There are other tasks I won't list left too. I'm considering making a checklist of what's left when we get closer.
The static render count is at 4267, and next week I will focus on it again - hopefully giving it a good bump. I'll have another preview ready for you soon. The animation queue is solid enough to last at least another week before I need to work on animations again.
I have a good flow, work very methodically, feel motivated, and am making good progress daily.
Have a nice weekend.

He's not the only one. With better equipment, they don't want to be faster but instead they want more quality, more renders per scene. That, plus the inevitable branching increase, the further the game is progressing. It's the same with DPC, you expect development to go faster with hardware upgrades, but in the end it takes longer.
All calculations have to take into account the testing and bugfixing tho, and with all this branching it can take a while. If he's done by the middle of September, expect an early October releaseTo those grumbling, I wouldnt worry about the statics. It's the ambiguity around animations that is more of an issue.
He produced 2000 renders in the first 13 weeks of production, 1000 of those were in the last 4 weeks of that period. So in theory he could have 1000 done by August 18th. The fact he's still talking about posing more aniamtions is the real unknown. He only averaged 7.5 a week during episode 9, but some weeks in this episode he did 14. If he maintains only the 7.5 average then he would surpass the Episode 9 count by the 8th September.
Anyway all of that is a long way of saying he could do 1500+ more stills and 75-140 more animation and still release in September. Especially if he upgrades more systems.
More renders does not equal greater quality. I think this game has actually suffered from the increase in scope. The last episode (and the interlull) was among the largest, but I also thought it was pretty disappointing. He's not the only one. People not caring about development time is why it keeps getting longer, there SHOULD be a standard, regardless of whether you pay the man or not, because it affects the entire industry at this point. One person takes 9 months, then another, then another. It's especially an issue since they are paid monthly, they are financially motivated to drag development out as much as possiblePirates heavily upset that their future effortless heist will take longer to happen never ceases to amaze.

The part that he "still has important scenes to create" threw me a little. DPC seems to be lost in the very mind map he created for Ep.10. He might say next week he needs 2000 more renders. You can't trust if these 1000 renders will be enough. I bet the update for October.Anyway all of that is a long way of saying he could do 1500+ more stills and 75-140 more animation and still release in September. Especially if he upgrades more systems.
Some players broke their game with mods and it's crushed at the start of Ep.9I'm afraid to ask but what's the Jacob loop ?![]()
Fair, but there's plenty of free digital booty out there meanwhile. No pirate wants to sail the seven seas for 9 months to find the booty, rowdy. Sail, Ho!
Standard for what? Porn games? Who are you? Lmao. Go preach this directly to his patreons. Being this upset over DPC's well established development cycle after 9 episodes is such a whiny attitude tbh. You'll play for free, don't worry. No one's forcing you goblins to wait, just move on.People not caring about development time is why it keeps getting longer, there SHOULD be a standard, regardless of whether you pay the man or not, because it affects the entire industry at this point.
