This is precisely the consequence of his confusion with the script, which I've already mentioned several times. He spent 2 weeks after his vacation trying to figure out his flowchart, which probably has so many variables, choices and consequences that it took him so long to understand. Also by DPС's own admission it was only when he reached about 70-80% of development that he was able to figure out what he wanted.

Agreed. As it stands, Jacob is the only real choice for VP. He's the most mature and levelheaded of the bunch and the only one shown in game thinking about long-term consequences. On multiple occasions, in fact: stopping MC from banging Sage on the couch at the party, using his one and only secret code to either keep the Jade sex tape from getting out or to protect Derek's reputation. Pretty sure there was another thing too, but I can't remember off the top of my head.
