The thing is for Quinn to say that she has everything now. But what does she have? Quinn doesn't get the money from Rich until later in EP6. So what's up with Quinn now?
Quinn is meeting tomorrow night? The only question is, with whom? She may have been with someone else before she went to Buddy. Maybe that's why Buddy expected Quinn more.
Your nice excerpt from what Quinn said is not complete. Quinn should apologize, but she refuses. Oddly enough, Quinn gets a bloody nose after meeting Buddy. The guy probably followed Quinn from her previous meeting with the caller. Quinn didn't apologize and gets the receipt. One thing is very strange. Quinn is after the MC like hell the whole time, but won't let the MC help her with her bloody nose. (Unless of course the MC fucked Quinn in EP4) if not, the opposite is even true, she pushes the MC away. Quinn got a bloody nose because of the MC.
I've actually never read the second one, but it tends to confirm my version. Quinn doesn't want the MC to read the book. If it was a normal college book, Quinn couldn't care less if the MC read it or not. But Quinn doesn't care. It kills her mojo. Wouldn't be surprising if Rox's book had a lot of dirty details about a lot of dirty people.

In episode 3 we find out that Quinn has come up short in her drug dealing proceeds:
Riona: "Count it again."
Quinn: "I already counted it."
Quinn: "That's why I said "again"."

But we know why they're short. Quinn is not paying for what we uses. In episode 5 she tells Tommy it's Riona who is doing that, and Riona gets upset when she hears this (in episode 9) because she always pays.
In episode 5 Quinn has organised the girls hang out at the Prep's party.
The morning after the party Quinn makes the call to Buddy to let him know she's got the cash now.
On this call she doesn't mention a name, money or place an order, like you said, "Absolutely nothing that could lead to Buddy." that's kinda how I'd handle my phone calls if I was a drug dealer... and Quinn doesn't order drugs over the phone, she tells Buddy what she wants when she hands in the cash from the previous sales, on this call she's just letting Buddy know she's got the cash now (since she didn't have it before).
Plus, there's no way what's she's talking about is a book. "...don't worry... I have it now.
All of it."
She wouldn't say "all of it" if she was talking about a book. This isn't Skyrim. She hasn't been running around the Soul Cairn looking for Saint Jiub's Opus... "I have it now. All of it." clearly is applicable to money.
And then the very next night (you know, the night after she said she'd see him tomorrow night), she goes and hands the cash to Buddy.
Everything lines up and makes perfect sense. But you saw a book...
