I think you did the right thing, buddy.
In, I think it was Episode 7, when you have to decide between visiting eiter Maya or Josy, Josy is a no brainer.
Maya just stayed in the same dorm room she has occupied all semester, whereas Josy has to move again into a new environment, she still has to pay for half of Maya's dorm room and has to cope with Patrick still being a threat.
Josy clearly needs the MC way more and if you visit Maya, all you do is watch a movie, but with Josy you have some interaction with other HoT's and more of a personal talk with Josy.
On the other hand, in Episode 10 everything points to Maya. She has the much harder time accepting the lie the MC had to come up with to protect the girls secret. It's also Maya who learns about Mel's throuple relationship and the MC has to go to Maya's home to get the contract, so again an absolute no brainer.
It also may be very important for the MC to hear from Maya about how she never felt as comfortable with Josy as she does with the MC, so that he can adress it, and make sure it doesn't get out of hand and become a run-away problem.

This decision is probably important for the solo routes, but wrong for the three-way relationship.
Very simple reason. If the MC is on the throuple path, then he will have sex with Maya in EP7. However, the crucial thing is for the MC to give Maya a TV. Why?
In EP10, we find out what the DIKs are doing this Friday. A movie night. If Maya got the TV from the MC, she will not attend this movie night. This generates 2 possibilities for Maya in EP10. Either she is in her dorm watching TV or she has gone home to clean the Bailey house for Thanksgiving. It's even possible that Derek went home with her because he brought clothes in a garbage bag. Derek said that the garbage bag was used to transport the clothes.
Also, Josy doesn't need the MC in EP7 anymore than Maya does. That's totally wrong. In EP7, Maya needs the MC more because she is alone and not Josy. Josy makes friends with the HOTs. In EP10, the whole thing is reversed. Why? Oscar the idiot has made Josy doubt herself and the MC clearly shows Josy in EP10 that he loves her for who she is.
What Maya says in EP8 is also interesting. Her hand belongs to a princess and a prince. What are Josy and the MC building? A pillow fortress. Who lives in castles, palaces and fortresses? Princesses and princes.
It is important for the three-way relationship that the MC goes to Josy in EP5, to Maya in EP7 and back to Josy in EP10. If you don't want the three-way relationship, don't do it.

Doesn't it work as well? It's what causes Maya to go to Sage because she stops trusting Quinn. Ages since I played that part though don't fully remember.
Honestly Maya should've clicked it was something sexual. Quinn spread Maya's legs in the pool talking about tips when talking to her. Between the MC, Quinn and Mona's there is no such thing as "free" Maya really should've had enough to realize Quinn wanted to sell that ass.

I don't think there is any doubt that Episode 7 Josy is a no brainer. She has to pay for a dorm room she doesn't use, just so her girlfriends psycho father doesn't use her access to higher education as a tool to control her. She is also the one that has to move again. Maya clearly said to the MC, that she considers not having to share her dorm room as being super lucky, so she is just fine.
As a boyfriend Josy is the only choice here, you wanna make sure she adapts okay, is not bitter about having to pay money because of Patrick and that she can move on.
In Episode 10 it's even more obvious, getting the contract is the main arch for everything related to Maya and Josy, it's THE main event, and since Josy doesn't even go with them, as her boyfriend, checking up on Maya and making sure she can handle the pressure is paramount.

Yes, by choosing "others" instead of one of the main LIs. To get this option avaiable you can't be on Jill's and/or Maya/Josy's path

That's friends ! We are talking love and supporting your girlfriend and most of all making sure she is okay. Like remove the throuple for a moment, what would have to happen, that you don't check up on Josy, as her boyfriend, after what she has just been through ?
She has to run from her OWN dorm room and hide at the MC's place, then she has to move and none of it is even remotely her fault.
And money is VERY important, josy herself said so "free tuition ? do you know how much money that is?". And who in their right mind would be okay paying thousends of bucks for something they can't even use ?
In Episode 7, Josy clearly needs the support, just as clearly as Maya needs it in Episode 10. Both are moments of change for the throuple, 7 for Josy and 10 for Maya, so of course as a boyfriend you support them.

About the similar choice was in the EP9, when Maya approached MC in the hall near his room. You can decide to go with her or mention Josy. Knowing DPC and thinking that avoiding Maya just like this and one time will "save" you... haha, good luck. Because next time you have to choice to hang out with her anyway (to keep things balanced) and she will ask something like this again. If you ignore her again - you are stepping on a Josy sided playthrough and that's all. There were no good options in EP5 & EP7, too. Just more or less "right" ones.
But for me it's becomming more and more obvious that DPC will probably drag us as far as possible just to force us and make the toughest choice later at the end. I would very like the 4 outcomes and options: Throuple, solo Josy/Maya or left them both to save their own relationship. But I doubt that all of them will be available. I would like to be wrong. But DPC previously did much worse things for the sake of the drama before. So...
And after all, why do you think it's bad to spend time with Maya, but just let her know that Josy is also important? So she will be convinced that MC is interested in Josy in the same way as in her. With Josy there are no such choice, because it's already known fact about how they feel. But Maya have a bonus "balance" option. It's bad to stay silent and not speak up - isn't the lesson is not learned?

I seriously doubt there will be an option to leave the throuple for Josy and Maya to be a couple. It's clear when not in the throuple that they are not going to survive as a couple. I can't see how it would be different ending the throuple and leaving them in a couple. There may be 4 options of throuple, solo Josy, solo Maya and full breakup, obviously full breakup would be a fail playthrough, for example if you took the restaurant offer from Quinn, failed to get the contract from Patrick and concentrated on Maya in the throuple so Josy felt left out, I think in that situation Maya would no longer want to be with you, Josy won't either as she felt pushed out of the throuple but she would also be upset with Maya for both breaking the throuple and for getting between her and MC in the throuple.

The upkeep is very cheap, as you can read. So Josy's losses are limited. Besides, Josy is paying for it because she loves Maya and it's a way of keeping Maya safe from Patrick. If you love someone, you're happy to make such sacrifices and don't ask for money.
You can play however you want. But one thing is a fact. In EP7 Maya needs the emotional help and in EP10 Josy. Have you forgotten what Oscar did to Josy in EP9? The MC clearly shows Josy in EP10 so she's not boring to him, so he loves her for who she is. That is love. Maya, for example, gives the MC (The porn player among BaDIK fans) what they want to see. In EP10, what the MC says and does during the Thanksgiving stay at the Baileys is what matters to Maya and the threesome relationship. Does he stand by Maya or not.
Remember, for Josy to want Maya and the MC? That Josy mentions several times. Josy says in EP10 for the MC to do whatever necessary for Maya and the MC responds to do it for both (Josy and Maya). Again, Josy wants Maya and the MC. If the MC is with Maya, then he doesn't hear what is necessary for the three-way relationship.

It's again the exact opposite. What matters in Episode 10 is that the MC learns that Maya was never as comfortable with Josy as she is with the MC, because that's a feeling and if they don't get adressed they grow and grow untill it's too late.
And the MC is even given an instant choice to adress it, when he chooses "focus on Josy" it ends with him saying "Then you can put all those bad feelings away and feel comfortable with Josy, too." to Maya and that seems crucial for the survival of the throuple.
You can play however you want, but don't get frustrated when you have to go back all the way to Episode 7 to make the throuple survive, because the choices are laid out in a very obvious way.
The important thing to notice is that this is by far the most interesting forum for bad. And you dalli_x, I hear, were instrumental in getting things started here in the early days. This forum then is useful to dpc in maintaining interest in bad over the long dry spells. Surely a smart guy like him/you must know that. Some of us don't ever pay for bad, but, I suspect many do, even sign up for patreon. Just cause we love the game so much. And this forum is a big part of getting us hooked.Don't you start too. I'm not DPC.
The hypocritical thing, then I think, mr dpc, is that a person can get banned from bad discord and patreon at the the same time for mentioning being in possession of a version that is under release restriction at patreon before it should have been available to that person.
