Don't give him any ideas.
Afterall, by that time he'll need to have his patreons pay for his walker...
People here joke a lot about it but if you look at it from dev POV, there is no reason for him to rush the game to completion, quite the contrary in fact.
I don't know how much he earn per month from all donations, but I have seen devs on this site make more than 10K/month with mid games and even a couple making 1-5K/month doing literally nothing (abandoned game, no other game in the oven, no com, nothing), so I would assume due to the popularity of BaD that he earn a lot.
Same goes with the time between updates, as far as we know he could complete an episode in 4-6 months and pretend it took a year, not only does he lose nothing doing that but he gain money and free time doing nothing.
A good game like this one will inevitably have drama surrounding its ending, obviously people will be disappointed about anything no matter what, it is bound to happen as it happen with all sort of media with huge fanbase.
It is better for him to postpone the ending as long as possible, right now the reviews are glorious, but when the end come I bet money that you will have an avalanche of bad review from disappointed people, no matter what, this hurt reputation and revenues.
This dev has a good reputation so it would not kill its chance a making another game, but why facing this shitstorm when you can calmly sail this game for a couple more years ?
If I was him, I would milk this game properly, as I believe he does, not milking it to death but doing it the way he does presently.
Since people are frustrated about the time between updates but still accepting of it, I would certainly pretend to work a year on it instead of 5 months. Why would I not do that ? If he start dropping them every 5 months people will expect it to be that way every updates and be angry if the amount of renders of whatever drop in an episode due to crunch.
